This was a growing for dummies strain with pretty good indica body high. I really didn't have to do anything extra or special. I highly recommend this strain if you like high yielding indicas with a pretty good body high. The taste is above average sweet and spicy and I can't forget that musky banana hint on the exhale. Smell is sweet stanky banana musk. High yielder 168g of quality buds with another solid 84g of lows for extract.

Quebec Blast is doing well. She is in heavy bulking now. Poor root matiance early on is what hurt me the most in this grow on all 4. Live and learn, now hang on till finish. 04/01/2023 - 56 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed Third week of bloom for my Banana 🍌🍌🍌 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - the girl responded well to the change in nutrients, so I continue to feed the same as last week when I adjusted the nutrients for flowering Jungle Environ X - bud stimulators 🌼 Bud Candy - bud stimulators 🌼 Atami - ATA Calmag - it is recommended to use Calmag when growing under LED lights I stopped the Hesi Root Complex - no longer recommended this week Training: LST: just a slight LST, I attached some small twigs with string to let more light shine on them 💡💡 Defoliation: I did more defoliation so that the leaves did not overshadow the already forming buds and the plant could breathe freely - Banana was not so leafy, but it still needed a good cut 🍃🍃 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000, the girls are doing amazing under this great light, I can see a big difference compared to my past results 💡💡💓 In general: The girl is very strong, she has a strong stem - trunk, that is the basis for a proper plant 🌴. It is a sativa, which is why it has the highest photoperiod in the tent. Buds are already forming at the ends of the twigs 🌸 and there are many branches 🌾. It resembles a small dense bush. Yep, I have been so lazy keeping my diary up to date, life gets in the way sometimes🙄 Im on week 19 or there abouts. So a few things, As of about a week ago, I thought I was close to harvest, I had advice to start harvest when around 60% of the pistils had turned color and curled along with the trichomes becomming cloudy. I cant really get a good look at the trichomes no matter what I try but a couple did appear amber which I was told you can probably get away with a few amber spots, but it is a good indication that its probably a good time to harvest? With that, I thought it be a good time to start flushing, so I started using just clean water to start the process at about week 18. Started getting from what it looked like last time, cal deficiency, so I added cal mag, slowly cleared but now it looks burnt either from nutrients or light🤦‍♂️🏽 4 days ago I noticed a sudden growth spurt with new growths throughout the buds, as you can tell in the pics. So I went back to adding just bud candy in the water..Stupid idea? And now today I have noticed fuzzy white mold and yellow gold spots in the soil. I dont know if it is harmful or a good indication? Should I just harvest it or let it grow further? Some advice would be much appreciated at this point. Other than that, it has been a super long and slow grow and I am so keen for it to be harvested already as you know, it is my first grow after all. Peace✌️😊

Tester 2313 is doing very well, we've started the mainlining and topped twice this week! I'll most likely keep her at 4 colas for the remainder of this grow. Really excited to see this project out! At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. I missed last week unfortunately due to a few things going on so there is quite a step up. ****It’s been in flower 9-10 days so far and all bar 3 are flowering nicely please look at the pictures of the plants that just don’t seem to be budding? Are they duds or slow developers? Am I wasting my time or will they start too do you think?**** They are getting tall now and I have had to crank the extraction up a bit. Over the course of next week I am going to put them back into the smaller tents (half in each) with a scrog net to even the canopy out and add support them if they continue to grow taller Whacked the nutrients right up to near on 1500ppm and so far so good this 2nd week of flower they have shot up. Watering 5-600ml per 24 hours but to be honest I am going to up that over the coming days to near 800ml as they are almost drying out before I water again. Perhaps twice daily may come sooner than I think

Observe. The stem that snapped clean off in week 5, the resulting stress seems to have made a 2ft solid massive cola, probably the biggest individual I've grown, albeit she had signs of stress, and I felt like she was a little behind in the floral development compared to others, but as the rest of the plants start to settle down with packing on mass, the stressed colawas just getting started. Super interesting to see the difference that the snap made to the base of the stem overall, as I know before the snap, they were all the same girth or thereabouts. Neat little lucky accident, maybe I'll try something next grow.

Not much more work to do... I did some light defoliation today to avoid any popcorn buds and I think that’s it until harvest for all my girls. I’ll just keep watering them. - The critical is the most advanced one... I’m thinking to harvest it in around 2 weeks... so I’ll be starting flushing soon. - Northern Lights & Moby D have developed many stems and they are looking very even in height throughout the plants. They are not half the height of the Critical, but still have some additional weeks to go

7/1/25 Very classic Gelato Shaped nugs. Very very strong gassy nose to her. Large chunky buds. Have no complaints besides struggling with mass leaf death on this plant for some reason and can't seem to figure out why or what to do to fix it. maybe its a genetic sensitive to the heat or the humidity

Girls have exploded into flower! They had a big stretch and have started stacking very nicely. Flower came so fast, they are showing a slight phosphorus need, and perhaps a bit more cal/Mag to help with uptake and such. I’ve been introducing the Clyde nutrients slowly to try and avoid burn, but I clearly need a bit more. I am liking the results overall though. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
