D66/F18 - 11.24 - Little LA sunset that was such a runt for so long is starting to put on buds all nice. Gonna defoliate her in 4-5 days. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/23- Week three from seed and the second week of veg for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's doing surprisingly well considering the crappy weather, and being eaten like a salad by slugs and a rabbit! 5/25- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around her seems to have lessened the attacks on her leaves. I've also been spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap that I'm sure has helped as well. I watered the Papaya Sherbet today via garden hose and began to train her branches a bit as well. 5/27- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet continues to do exceptionally well with great color and vigor, putting out new growth it seems daily. 5/29- There's three weeks on the books for this little lady and I'm looking forward to see what she'll look like in the coming weeks! I will have to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days. I haven't added any dry amendments to her since I initially amended her soil and she's a hungry girl... i harvested second part this week. the rest will be harvested in about a week. Buds turned out beautifully. Great Colours and great smell. My best Autoflower so far. Terps are dark and red Berrys combined with some floral Rose aroma. Super Sticky and as you can see good producer.

9/25: Harvested them, washed and hung to dry for 5 days, then alternated from jars to brown paper bags for a several more days. Final thoughts: This strain proved to be very indica in both growth characteristics and effect. I really like it as a "medicinal" variety..great for stress/anxiety or insomnia. The buds are super "greasy" and dank while growing and once dry. They didn't stretch much, and had hardly any lateral branching, unlike their mother. They didn't take up any more space than their pots. Would have been perfect for a single-strain SOG. Very heavy for shorter, cola-only plants...buds are really really dense. Week 2 flower Day 1, Day 29 from seed. Bent her head just a little and removed a few leaf blockers! She got a tent all by herself. Smellin good now too, only one open stinking up the room! 🤤🤘 10-5 250ml 10-6 1/4 cup poo, 3 tbs buildaflower scoop of connect. 10-7 water, started a tea, 1/4 poo, kelp, yucca, cal/mag, recharge! Tried to keep it simple. 10-8 Day 34 Lovin her tea! Lst and defol, open her up a bit. Slight defol and used some clips. Fun with pictures! 😁🤘 10-9 Last day of the week! Her head and another branch took off enough for me to bend it! Was worried wasn't going to be able to. But we got her! Helped a ton!. After spacing her out, had to play musical tents! Nel frattempo che i semi Germinavano, ho pulito e disinfettato la box, ci é voluto più di un giorno, tra lavare l'argilla e lasciarla in ammollo con acqua e cloro, a pulire tutti gli accessori singolarmente e le pareti della box. Bene, adesso siamo pronti per un altro ciclo!!!

Just fine. Lots of growth. Started to think we vegged for too long and decided to go into flower for week 8. Watering every two to three days at PH of 6 and once a week with a tea.

Day 57: Flowers forming, everything good so far :) Day 61-62: Light LST, plant seems to be chill. Noticed a couple of ants, I hope they don't bring aphids ._. Day 63: Buds growing, we'll see...

Sep 6: Tropicana Cookies FF is doing great. Maybe not as much flower maturation last week as I expected but we’re just starting week 8 of flowering. So likely the end of September which is fine for the late start on this plant. Sep 7: decided on a final top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. Seems they need a bit more P.

UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 56g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently between 63-68%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. While trimming some dried buds yesterday, I came across a seed, I couldn't believe it, between 😕and 😆, first time experiencing this, interesting, hopefully she didn't lose a lot of her potency and it only happened late. Learning from this: don't change light cycle. I changed from 18 to 21 hours, thought that was a good idea... All this aside, I am sooooooo in LOVE WITH HER 😍I have never grown such a beautiful plant, excuse the photo spam, she deserves a stage, at least for me 😉I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1. Regular hang dry: For 7 days in small grow tent, darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F - she was almost too dry after 7 days. 2. Low & Slow dry: after washing & hang-drying for 4 hours, she went into the fridge for 7 days in a paper bag, followed by several jar tests until she was at a steady 68% outside; She dried like this in the fridge for 8 days. I didn't trim her too much, since I want to preserve everything for oils. More details: 16. Nov. 2019 - 13. Feb. 2020 - 88 Days - Grown from Seed Smell of Berries; Pink & Yellow tips; Lots of long curly brown hair; Pink tiny leaf tips on top of buds. I’m in love whooooooooooaaaaaaa. Chop on 13. Feb 2020 - 461g Put in vase with PH water for 2 days in Dry Tent darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F 14. Feb. 2020 Darkness Day 1 - 469g 15. Feb. 2020 Darkness Day 2 - 452g Total wet - no trim - 452g Total wet - slight trim - 386g //Regular dry in tent - 50% humidity & 20°C/68F // 281g with trim went in Total dry - no trim - 43g Total dry - trim - 40g //Low and slow dry in fridge // 96g went in Total dry - trim - 16g Check 420magazine for “Low and Slow”-Dry.
