Started with some bent which really made side branching take off. I'm just doing leaf tucking, all branches get plenty of light, so no need for bending IMO. One is quite a bit bigger than the other, if this is a fenotype thing or something I did we will never know since the sample is too small to make conclusions... So its the one in the slightly smaller pot that is bigger. Also, I switched positions between both to see if this makes difference... but I never noticed hotspots or such in my earlier grows.... One of my annoyances of small-scale operations is that there is never enough data to be able to make conclusions based in facts. It could always be nature or nurture, because I lack control groups. Maybe my government will someday finally see the backwater retardedness of our way of dealing with cannabis. For now no other option than staying within the law. I like weed and growing but I like my freedom more. The XL Runtz are remarkably resistant and vigorous, with extreme growth in just under three weeks after germination. Beautiful plants and they handle a high light / high organic nute situation from very early on. Coming week I'll just be leaf tucking, no further LST since they are already going into flower. Ill be adding BAC Organic Flower coming days along with my solution of wood ash and perma tea. Also Ill be starting the three 56 ltr growbags to start the three regulars that will run in the same 18 hr lightschedule. And that light, trusty SP-3000, what a machine, what results so far and how reliable so far. She doesn't get too warm at all, just contributes to a nice greenhouse atmosphere without any climate management other than me checking temps and RH. Usually, I need no adjusting, no ventilation, no heating or airco, my system is pretty self-containing and autonomous in the stabile attack where it is. And lets be real, I get results as in grams per watt and per plant that only the 600 watt / Hydroponic guys get. With organic growing, in such small scale with 300 watt. Everything is going good, girls are looking healthy and already reeking. Going to veg for another 4 weeks I looking to do a scog canopy which I would need bigger plants which need more time to grow. I can see there about to stretch this time in veg

After two weeks of stretching, I practice defoliation, removing the nodes below. I switch the lamps to 100%.

It’s day 43 of flower! All of the plants look great! I’m going to start dialing back the light intensity slowly over the next couple weeks. Harvest time is getting close

Plant has been developing nicely over the past 6 weeks. Fimming was not very successful, so I continued with super cropping the plant. She was switched to a 12/12 schedule a week ago and was fed flower nutes for the first time this week. She is definitely stretching, so I installed another scrod at 50 cm to distribute the canopy even further and add some support. She has been receiving ph balanced RO water and is at this stage continuously via drippers. Roots are al over the tank again, which has however proven as an advantage in the past.

I couldnt expected the buds on some of the plants to be tbis big we around 2 weeks to harvest i have a few different strains growing in the same tent and the smells are amazing

For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. I will let them recover some days before I defoliat again. I defoliate all the way to week 1 in flower.
