Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Germinated then planted into 3” peat pots using an open room in my basement to start the seedlings. Using roots organic soil only as of now. Getting ready to transfer into a living soil mix into a 3 gal pot and move to my grow room

Had some crazy root growth this week and have put the girls in their final 11L pots already. They became rootbound in their last pots within 5 days of being potted up and started showing rootbound behaviour such as spots on leaves and droopy behaviour, also soil was drying out super fast. At first I was panicking about leaf septoria, had that before :/. Only when i checked the roots that I confirmed it was cos they were rootbound. I'm hoping this isn't an issue within the grow bags. I've never really played around with potting up before as mainly grown autos until now. Topped the girls a few days ago and have done some LST today to spread them ready for the scrog. ~english below~ Beide Pflanzen entwickeln sich - trotz des nicht so guten Wetters - prächtig. Topf #2 ist nun 49 cm hoch und Topf #3 67 cm, der Größenunterschied bleibt stabil. Es entwickeln sich mehr und mehr Blüten, wie auf den Videos zu erkennen ist. Da es immer noch einigermaßen windig ist und ich nicht so recht weiß, was ich den beiden Pflanzen zumuten kann, hab ich beide mittlerweile mit Bambus Stäben abgestützt. Und durstiger sind sie geworden, mit einem Liter alle 3 Tage kommen die beiden aber aus. Der Duft wird auch etwas intensiver auf dem Balkon. Aber dank meiner Blumenkästen welche mit gut duftenden Blumen bepflanzt wurden, ist in der Umgebung nichts von meinen zwei Hübschen zu riechen. english Both plants are developing splendidly - despite the not so good weather. As it is still quite windy and I don't really know what I can expect from the two plants, I have now supported both with bamboo sticks. And they have become thirstier, but they can both get by with a liter every 3 days. The scent is also getting a little more intense on the balcony. But thanks to my flower boxes, which are planted with fragrant flowers, you can't smell anything of my two beauties in the area.

So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days.
