08/29/2018 Been a hot week but the girls don't seem to mind,90s in the day 82° at night and sticky,muggy weather. Their leaves all pointing ☝️,lets me know they are happy ☺️ .watered with plain water they were pretty dry pots weight was very light. Will feed and water in in morning sleep well and medicated😎 08/31/2018 Just a note today #1 is very green compared to the other 4 plants, could be potted plants running low on nitrogen? My soil has plenty according to soil test. I know last year's crop in soil was pale like other 4 plants, maybe biochar is helping soil retain it's nutes better? Year 2 for biochar, first year could have tied up some nutes....hmmm? Ps Last feeding today Fox farms big bloom at heavy feeder dose 1/2 cup per gallon, should see nice gains this week! 🙏🙏🙏. Pss. G GTH #4 loosing her smells, #3 smells of Skunk and coffee ☕,#2 minty chlorophyll orange,#1 menthal,skunky but very lite scent. Should I pollinate a branch of each? Oh my God the pressure! Hey growmies, I hope you are all well and growing good👍 This week hasn't seen much change in appearance for this lovely girl, some light pinky purple tips showing up on the tops of some buds. More purple slowly appears after each night. A little bit of fattening up but maybe not quite as much as I hoped. Her aroma has got slightly stronger 👍 she smells like a lovely vanilla and orange cookie. Trying not to touch her and disturb but I can't help it sometimes lol she is super sticky and kicks out a really sweet smell. I like her colours so far, can definitely see the wedding cake genetics coming though 😀 Node spacing a bit larger than hoped and buds are not fat but they are very dense and frosty. But never mind I still have 2 more of these seeds to try and find a keeper from 🤞 That's all for now my friends. I will probably updating this diary now after Christmas. I will also been starting a few new diaries soon with new set ups and an updated seed collection 👍 I'm very excited for next year's grows! Thanks for stopping by. Week 10 Day 1 11/25/2023 Walked in the door, dropped everything and rushed in to check on the ladies, it was past lights out so I couldn't check on the plants but checked on the pH. The PH was down to 5.19... noooooo..I adjusted it to 6.0 and crossed my fingers the plants looked good, will check on them in the morning. Week 10 Day 2 11/26/2023 Well She looked great and I think she is ready for Chop, Chop, so debating the 48 hours of darkness, or chopping today.. so going to get some breakfast and give it a think. Afternoon update: So I gave it a think and I decided to do a split harvest this run. I took the top half and left the bottom half to mature for another week. I did run out of hooks so I was forced to freeze dry some and will have that to try in 48 hours. The problem is that I will have to remember the weights that I get when I get the final harvest and all the numbers but since I am doing a split harvest anyways it will be three sets of numbers to track over the next few weeks. Week 10 Day 3 11/27/2023 Got my first little bit out of the freeze dryer and trimmed up: I got 48 grams of bud and 7.4grams of shake. Smoke is smooth will see what kind of high comes with it.. Week 10 Day 4 11/28/2023 I let them bottom half recover and get another week under their belt to color and get some trichomes on them. I will be cutting 12/2/2023 Week 10 Day 5 11/29/2023 Ground Hogs day.. Recovery/ Trichome build of lower buds. Week 10 Day 6 11/30/2023 Ground Hogs day.. Recovery/ Trichome build of lower buds. Not a whole lot going on this week. Did some light trimming and removed the wires. Main stem on all 4 are nice and flat, going to let the girls veg out for a few weeks and just grow up wards. Moved the lights up 16 inches to let them stretch out. I also switched light cycles.. read an article that mentioned a lot of benefits to having 8 hours on and 4 hours off. Specifically I've noticed a lot of benefits ik terms of cooling and environmental control. I havent had to push water bottles into my buckets ar all this week. And it seems to be growing at a normal rate.

This week just flush her with 8 litre ph water and I will harvest her next week some point Update today day 100 and she is thirsty as hell will flush her again tomorrow then will go for 48 hour darkness Update today day 103 and I find my jewellery microscope but still can't see any Amber trichomes so I leave her and will check on her everyday Update today day 105 and I decide to chop her down I let her 12 hour darkness then chop off will update later

This plant is my 3th attempt, trying to find a specific taste I'm searching since I started to grow, in 2020. Plant just been harvested. Now it gonna need some more weeks of drying and curing, before I can finally evaluate the taste 😍 So, for now, I can only talk about the grow, and I'll edit my diary later. 10 weeks of flowering (total 20 weeks), this was a long run! Royal Queen Seeds say that strain usually take 7 to 9 weeks of flowering. Mine took a bit longer. She was absolutely the easiest plant I ever grown. She never shown big sign of deficiencies. She germinated fast (seed direct to the pot). I applied main-lining method (Nebula's / Topping at node 3, then node 3 again) and performed LST during the growth. She perfectly dealt with it, never slowed by the toppings. I remember that she took less than 10 hours to recover from second topping, and re-allign every branchs to the light, after LST. This was insane to me. I did some mistakes during the grow : 1) Excess of Biobizz - Fishmix during grow, until early flowering. This been fixed by following the advices from @AsNoriu who suggested to transplant the Queen to a new pot. So she moved from a 16L to a 30L during 2nd week of flowering. This was risky, it's not really recommended to transplant during flowering.... But the risk at to be taken. And she totally did good. One week later, she was looking way more healthy. 2 weeks later, she was on fire!!! 2) I brook the main cola, same week than the transplant. I was trying to apply the LST again. A bit too much of tension, and Crack! Quickly fixed. The plant don't even realized. She don't slowed bad signs, and continued to grow perfectly. She spent some weeks outdoor during Veg. And this is how i got some thrips problem during end of veg. I sprayed black soap, then water, and then Biobizz - Leafcoat. This got rid of mainly all thrips. I was still seeing one or two begining of flowering, so I continued to use water and biobizz - Leafcoat. But as she was flowering, she started to get totally covered of trichomes, even on fan leaves, and under the leaves. Thrips had no chance there. So the plant ended this problem by herself, and I don't had to spray anything during flowering, and never saw thrips again ^^

I grew two plants of the FFT1 testers. I started them indoors in the spring during COVID19 lock down. The germination date was the week of March 25, 2020. I didn't start the grow diary at that time because I was having a really hard time coping with the COVID19 non-sense and I wasn't sure I was completely committed to properly documenting the grow. In the end, I think this grow helped me cope... ha! So I topped one FFT1 plant, and let the other grow 'native' with no interventions at all. Both were grown totally organically with no added nutrients. We moved the plants outside on May 1, 2020 into our home made greenhouse/trellis. I took a few photos but I was still not committed to documenting the grow. I wasn't even sure if the plants would grow well considering I hadn't provided them with any nutrients at all. In fact I felt like I was neglectful of the ladies LOL. It became clear to me by June that these plants were gonna take off... they were growing like mad! I realized that I really HAD to share what was going on in my back yard. Also, I had made the commitment to FastBuds, and I was sure they would want to see the plants. I started this journal as soon as they started the first signs of flowering. By the time the stretch was done Big Mama (my first FFT1 plant) was an insane monster at 10 feet fall. Little Sister (the second FFT1 plant) was a solid 7 feet tall. Big Mama had been topped and mainlined and holy cow she was HUGE with eight main colas. Little Sister had not been topped and she was less than half the size. The buds were beautiful as you can see from the photos. They weren't super fat, and they weren't super frosty, but they were like piles of spaghetti noodles with beautiful streaks of amber. There were bud sites ALL OVER. Near the end of the grow, as the buds were 99% ripe I started to see small spots of bud rot in Big Mama. That's when I pulled the trigger and started the harvest. COVID19 put a real damper on our harvest party, but we were able to call in a few friends from our 'bubble.' Big Mama's wet yield was around 2600g and Little Sister offered 1300g. I was totally astonished. I have to LOL any time I look at the numbers LOL. We trimmed all of Big Mama by hand, but lost our steam for Little Sister. Her trim was rough, and we will have to use our Trimbag to clear off some of the foilage... I adjusted my dry weight numbers to accommodate for this. We dried them in the mesh tiered dry racks for the first few days and then moved them into large paper bags. They are not quite as dry as I think they should be, and so I have adjusted my dry weight numbers to reflect this. Total dry weight for both plants is coming in at 2000g total which is around 4.5 pounds. We put a bunch in the vapes and had a whole lot of fun! The vibe is a solid hybrid offering lots of energy for chit chatting and talking shit. But it's not a racy energy... it's somehow relaxing at the same time. We watched Alone on Netflix and made out... while eating ice cream and chips LOL. I was properly stoned. Stoned as fuck. My eyes were completely red and Njaak was a squinting grinning mofo. He's saying it's his new favourite, and that's before it's cured. This bodes well! So we have put the weed back in paper bags for the cure and are excited about this one. The flavour... we are going with sweet with a bit of citrus, but I think we need a bit more time to let it cure before we could offer reliable data. I'll update more on that later.

Just in drying but she smells strong, looks drenched in resinous crystals and I just can’t wait to get her dried and cure. Beautiful plant with nice sized buds. The smell is the strongest I’ve grown like an earthy pine smell full of crystals still curing but my tester blunt put me to sleep but not as smooth as I’d like yet so back in the jar! Full smoke report will be up after a full cure. After a 2 week cure the taste is phenomenal and old school flavour that brings back memories, earthy notes with hints of liquorice tastes a lot like a good quality hash. Nice smooth smoke that packs a punch. Definitely can’t beat the OG strains. The high creeps up on you but not to intensely and lasts hours!

Things are going good.... POOL is FULL..... I have transplanted everything in the greenhouse. Some in soil.... I know soil??? Wtf have I lost my mind.... Banner 1,2, and 3 have not shown sex... so we will wait... Slurricane is pretty... but small... her clone's 2 are in soil.. 1 is in perlite, and it is in a circle. I did it for fun because she is a B***H... Haha no strings attached..... We wait on Fire OG, and Foul Mouth both are female... we are waiting for some flowers to arrive. I'm starting to flush Shiskaberry and Blue Gelato 41. Today ... I'm smoking the Gorilla Zkittles.... I am really pleased with taste and high. In the greenhouse flowering right now is 6 strains.... mostly clones... but 8 separate pheno's... fuck I'm even confused... hahaha..everything is labled.... most have dates on them... I will have to try to go back on foul mouth and fire OG to find out when I started flowering them..... shit.... I will know when there done... hahahahahaha I have so much in veg... 25 plants.. 14 strains... so like I said... "The Pool is Full"...... I transplanted all my sprouts... which adds the following: Citrus Farmer .... 3 Critical Kush .... 1 Tahoe Kush .... 2 so far.. 1 may still sprout 🙏 Spliff's Strawberry ....2 CBD Spliff Berry.... 2 Everyone else is fine... Out of the 3 strains in the tent this one seems to have droopy leaves a good few hours before lights out, as if it's had enough for the day and gone to bed. I don't think it's got any issues but I'll keep a closer eye on this one. One more week of Veg I feel before 12/12.
