Nothing major to report, weather is still relatively cold and humid for july. Double Grape might be ready in 1 - 2 weeks, I included some macro shots. Let me know what you think.

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Great second week of flower. She’s getting a nice flower stretch. Info and photos were taken 12 days into flower. Beginning of the week was 50cm and is now at 62cm tall. That's 12cm in one week!! 👏👏👏 Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. She’s looking good and healthy. Nice lime green color going.. Plenty of new growth every where. Smell is starting to be a little noticeable but nothing stinky yet. There’s a few main colas that are standing out and stacking nicely. Haven’t done any work on her since the 12/12 defoliation. When 21 days passes I’ll give her a nice defoliation and taking away unwanted under growth. Very happy with how she turned out. She struggled at first but now she’s looking gorgeous. 😍😍 Stay tuned to see her progress. If you like what you see, check out the other strains in the tent. Take care and stay safe! 😃

Plants aren't growing very fast and roots were kind of slimy. I found that my reservoir temps were getting high so I began to use frozen water bottles to cool the reservoir.

-Start of Week 7- 8/30- Here we go...Week seven should end with ALL the ladies in flower, I hope! The Seedsman Zkittles #3 is the 'last girl out' having been a week behind the others. The Seedsman Gelato OG in Natures Living Soil is not as robust as its sister in the SOHUM Living Soil. They are both visually extremely similar in appearance except the one in Sohum is roughly 25% bigger!...interesting! The ladies received Compost Tea for breakfast @ 1/2 gallon each but before I fed them I added 1 cup of Diatomaceous Earth to each pots medium which I worked into the soil by hand (this will cut the Fungus Gnats and any other undesirables in the medium to shreds! Muahaha!😈) then watered it in with the tea. The Crystal Meth #1 is showing nitrogen toxicity and possibly the Purple Lemonade #1 as the Crystal Meth #1's leaf tips are 'clawing' and she's deep green. The Purple Lemonade #1's also really dark and shes got some yellowing of a few leaves happening but no 'clawing'. I'm just going to let her eat as she's a short, stocky little biatch with some heavy, stanky buds forming!. The FastBuds genetics are appearing to be very sensitive to nutrients, more so than the Seedsman strains which haven't shown any real issues other than being slower to flower and BUSHY as hell!😁 *On a side note, I popped nine photo-period beans today- Dutch Passion Power Plant, White Widow & Meringue / Archive's Poochie Love and some Blueberry Skunk from bag seeds🙏 8/31- I moved the fans directions to avoid too much wind on the girls this morning as it was blowing pretty hard on the Crystal Meth #1 and Zkittles #1. Going to put pot elevators under all the fabric pots today to allow any water/nutrients to drain out and not be reabsorbed. Gave the Crystal Meth #1 a 2 gallon flush with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 to try to leech out some of the nitrogen from her. I gave the other ladies a lite water if they felt dry and tucked shade leaves on the Gelato OG's, Zkittles and Purple Lemonade's. Conditions in the 4x8 are right on point for Week 7: 64-82 deg., 65-70% RH and a 11.1 VPD Heights as of 8/31- FastBuds: Purple Lemonade #1- 14" Purple Lemonade #2- 19" Crystal Meth #1- 24 Crystal Meth #2- 19" Seedsman Seeds: Gelato OG #1- 24" Gelato OG #2- 21" Zkittles #1- 17" Zkittles #2- 21" Zkittles #3- 20" 9/1- Lite water: 2 1/2 gal. de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @ 74 deg. divided evenly between all but Purple Lemonade #1 as she was still very moist and the Crystal Meth #1 which got flushed with 2 gal. of 6.4 ph de-chlorinated water @ 74 deg. I did a heavy defoliation on the Crystal Meth #2 taking off all the crappy looking shade leaves that were damaged from the ph'd imbalance she had. I also defoliated both the Seedsman Gelato OG's and Zkittles #1 & #2 as they are SO bushy and leafy they needed it to get the light down into their canopies. 9/2- The FastBuds Purple Lemonade's are displaying to vastly different phenotype's with #1 growing short, squat with THICK indica leaves and the darkest green color. #1 also is exhibiting fox tail structure on her buds which are extremely resinous already. The #2 Purple Lemonade is tall with wider node spacing, a traditional bud structure with the flowers exhibiting rich purple hues contrasted by snow white pistils...beautiful! Both ladies have an extremely pungent citrus aroma to them! The Gelato OG's are both putting their energy into the multitude of bud sites that both have and both are tall, bushy plants with multiple branches although the #2 in SOHUM Living Soil is doing slightly better than #1 in Natures Living Soil. The FastBuds Crystal Meth's are both stacking nicely although the #2 will never be the beautiful specimen her sister is I'm hoping she'll finish out with a decent yield of quality smoke. The Seedsman Zkittles #1 & #2 are both doing well, both into flower with their buds just starting their development. The #3 Zkittles is doing her best to catch up to her sisters but is still about a week behind them, just coming out of pre-flower. Gave all the girls a drink of de-chlorinated water which had a ph of 6.7 @ 75 deg.. I evenly divided 4 gal between them, then went over all tucking leaves. 9/4- Gave all the girls 5 gal. of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @ 74 deg. with 3 tbsp/gal of unsulphured molasses added to it and divided evenly between all. Daily branch coaxing and leaf tucking. The FastBuds ladies are all way ahead of the Seedsman girls and are well into flower. I'm guessing that the FB's will be harvested within the next 7-10 days and the Seedsman's 1-2 weeks later. All the Seedsman plants are doing fantastic! They're all bushy with good color and a ton of budsites! 9/5- Cleaned the pre-filter on the Terra-Bloom carbon filter as it was clogged. Watered all today with 4 gal de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @75 deg. with 5 ml/gal CalMag+ added. Goodbye Week 7...Here we go into the home stretch!!!

Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

Germinated for 24 hours in a glass of water, 48 hours in a paper towel and then I planted them into biodegradable seedling pots. Northern Lights looking a bit ahead of the Dosidos seeds but that was expected I’ve grown Northern Lights before and they sprout real quick. One of the Dosidos’ first true leaves is looking a bit wonky but we’ll see how it goes I suppose.

🌱 Grow Journal – Week 8 This week, the plant kept growing steadily and looks healthy overall. She gained almost 8 centimeters in just seven days—that’s more than a centimeter per day, which is a great sign of strong development. I’m planning to work on her structure a little: probably a topping in the coming days, along with a light defoliation. The goal is to open up the canopy, improve airflow, and make sure the light is distributed more evenly, while guiding her growth in a balanced way. The main challenge this week has been the pH. This morning, the reservoir measured 4.8 while the tray was at 5.2, a 0.4 difference. I honestly don’t understand why the drop was so sharp. I had added Athena Balance, which should stabilize the nutrient solution. The only explanation I can see is the heat—we hit almost 31°C this weekend, and I suspect the nutrient solution was heavily affected by the temperature rise. If anyone reading this journal has insights on why this happens, I’d be glad to hear them. It’s a bit frustrating, because Autopots are supposed to make things simple. But in reality, I still need to monitor closely, especially since the coco buffer doesn’t seem to be doing its job properly—or maybe the reservoir just dropped too low and threw everything off. Either way, I’ll stay vigilant. Hopefully, with summer ending and temperatures cooling down, the solution will stabilize and the pH won’t swing so much. On the positive side, I’m still really happy with Athena nutrients. The solution stays crystal clean, no buildup, no deposits, and that makes things a lot easier to manage. So overall: strong growth, healthy plant, but pH management continues to be the main challenge. Let’s see how things evolve next week.

Quebec Blast is doing well. She is showing first signs of flowering a week into light change. I adjusted nutrition more to her current demands, with a solution change today. Everything is going well, I don't expect a lot of stretching. I could be wrong. I am growing her under a Spider Farmer SE5000 light at 70 percent. She is in New Level Hydro 5 gallon bucket. Welcome to my diary for The Seedsman Tiny Pot Contest I was left with two difficult tasks. Firstly, what the hell am I going to grow in? It has to be something unique! Can't just be any ordinary small pot..... Secondly, what am I going to grow in it? It also has to be unique! Can't be just any ordinary pot..... The first obvious choice to me was a photoperiod. Since we are dealing with a micro root system, I would be able to train it like a Bonsai. As the roots get big, it would be easy to cut and maintain the root system before flower. Less chance of root bound and the plant would grow according to its environment. Then I said fuck it..... and chose an autoflower. It's a contest and I love a challenge! I landed on Oasis Genetics Auto Crystal Widow and a little hippo named Herbie! Herbie holds 0.081 gallons of soil. I'm hoping with a 12/12 light schedule it will keep the roots from getting out of control. Wish me luck!! GERMINATION: Day 1, dropped seed in small glass of water. After 12-18 hours the seed will be transferred to a wet paper towel until taproot forms. End of Day 4 taproot had reached 3/4" and it was time for soil.

57 to 63 Thursday The last week. I am dropping the feed down low, might even just flush them entirely for the next week which I don't normally do but I want them to start dying naturally These things are going to be very nice. Very tight and frosty buds in here!
