hi all. Defoliation and LST was done last week. due to a malfunction in the timer, the plant entered the pre-flowering phase. but it doesn't suit me. she needs to get bigger! so next month will be dedicated to maximum growth!

All the gals are in flower. 6/16 TPS1 15ml/gal @4 gal =60ml Signal 1.25 ml Cal mag 10ml @4 gal Recharge ½ tsp/gal =10ml Kelp & fish GS plant foods 1/4c /gal @ 4 gal =1c Neem ½ tsp (for Japanses beetles)  Ph5.7  PPM 1120  Solution Temp 85  Outside temp 92f Feeding on 6/19 was the same but the PPM was higher at 1220. A bit heavy handed on something.6/19 was a big defoliation day. Fractal had a haircut. I took off all the fan and several feeder leaves. Fractal is average height 3.5’ very indica structured. Very bushy and multibranching. She has one mane stalk with branches unevenly set. The branches have side branches which I cut off. ============ Germination April 6. Vegetation Week 1 water only Week 2 water only Week 3 added recharge and TPS1 increased ppm to 570. Week 4 continues with recharge and TPS1. I added Fox Cal mag increasing ppm to 685 - 805. Week 5 TPS1 9ml/gal Recharge 5 ml/gal Fox Cal-mag 5 ml/gal Week 6 5/12-19 Moved outside in 5 gal air pots receiving rain and well water. Week 7 5/19-25 Opium received only rainwater for the last 2 weeks. Since I was in Colorado last week, I feel very behind on my diaries. Despite my absence, my outside gals did just fine. Opium loves the outside sun, breeze, and frequent rain. Week 9 6/2-6/8 Now at the start of week 9, my outside gals, except L. Cake are now in flower. Several pics show the very narrow new leaves and small white hairs evidence of flower formation. 6/7 This is the first time I’ve had to add nutrients to her feeding. Some lower leaves were yellow. Since I’ve been using amended soil, this indicates Fractal is a heavy feeder. Nutrients in soils are used up and she is starting to use her own food sources 6/7 5 gallons well water TPS1 60ml used 1 gallon per plant =12ml Cal-Mag 25ml used 1 gallon per plant =5ml Recharge 5ml used 1 gallon per plant =1ml Signal 1.25ml PPM 1414, PH 6.93, Temp 82.5 Note I do not have to PH adjust my well water. However, our city water comes out of the tap at 8.2 ph so I must PH down using the city line hose and my inside grows. Week 10 6/9-15 Fractal loves the outside. She bushy and 3 1/2feet tall. All are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is now getting nutrients with feedings. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed 2x/week. With the heat and humidity, I water daily but do not feed daily. This is the sister diary of the Runtz showdown, in which we pit two great performing strains created by two highly acclaimed and respected breeders, in a duel to the death. This diary features the RUNTZ XL AUTO strain by SweetSeeds. In the meantime, all seeds have germinated and seemed to have a level start. Also here we loaded the grow with our magical intentions as we sowed on Imbolc, the celebration day of the Goddess of spring: Bridget. We cant wait to see where this will lead us. Both strains will have the exact same conditions, lighting, care and nutrition. The Lights Also here we use our trusty Mars Hydro SP-3000, where we are trying to get over 600 grams (2x gram per watt) we succeeded almost on the previous grow, where we got to 1.5 grams per watt. Added a new layer of homemade worm humus 3 days ago. She is triving , some branches are so full of buds, I hope they will be at least medium size, she is really a monster.😍

High GD community, Week 6, Wonder pie doing fine. She keeps her tempo steady, not really fast, but she keeps developing. Some of the side branches starting to take form and first lining is a fact. Ive removed 9 leafs, so te center gets more open for the small branches trying to come up. I think i should cut the internodes that are up and down, but i only cutted the one underneath. If anyone is convinced its better to get rid of the upperone 2, please comment. I do thinl it might cause problems in a few weeks, bcs it will grow up instead of out to the sides, so, hormone regulation will change, slow down the outgrowing buds and extra pump up these internodes. Enough rambling about that, lets talk about the plant intirely, bit by bit she starts to look like something i have in mind. 💦👨‍🔬 Just spraying ph 6.2water and 1 feeding this week. 3 waterings this week, 1 with nuts. Opium is maturing faster than the other 2 outside photo periods Fractal & Lemon Cake. Many of the feeder leaves are yellow and fall off at the slightest touch. The buds are dense and starting to be sticky. She is strong and resistant to our heat & humidity, and pests. Her tall lanky structure is true to a sativa. She had huge fan leaves and long internodal stretch. This strain would definately need topping or other high stress training to keep her short for a tent grow. 10/1 - Happy as ever. Basically on autopilot. 10/2 - Had a fun photo shoot today. Plants are looking thirsty, will likely water tomorrow. 10/3 - Watered today with the usual. Plants are starting to "stack" the nugs! 10/4 - They loved that watering. I'm loving life right now, so are the plants. I did some minor defoliation today to prevent some bud sites from being covered. 10/5 - Another great day for a photo shoot :)

These girls continue to develop but not really swell. I have a lot mixed feelings right now about these girls. They don't have the strong blueberry smell I was really hoping for. So maybe I'm just setting the wrong expectations. They do smell good but not the sweet as of right now. Having said that, they continue to change in smell so I might get what I want. They have really changed over the last week and due to this I started viewing the trichomes. They are looking fairly developed for six weeks. We'll see what happens over the next days.
