Easy to grow. Fruity spicy very nice stone and made lots of edibles with this trimmings and have to watch out with dosing LOL.

Welcome to week 7! Almost time to flower and things are looking good. Since last week I did some light defoliation and cleaning up of the bottoms over a few days. I also lightly tied some of the branches out to allow a bit more light penetration but also to spread the canopy. This week (at the end of the week) the plants got one water containing a 2tsp of kelp, and 2 tsp of freeze dried coconut. The ladies also got one foliar spray with Mountain Organics sprouts, citrus and Rita oil combined with a small amount of Method 1pps (see picture in week 6). Temperature and humidity has really been steady thanks to the help of my Grow Ratio ESU and fans. Hoping I can keep this rate of growth into flower. this is my first time transplanting from hydro to soil due to room/spacing issues, and let me tell you, this is NOT an easy task, and should be avoided at all costs, especially the bigger the plant. it almost seems impossible to remove all the clay pebbles without damaging some of those 2-3week old baby roots around those pebbles. i gently picked out as many clay pebbles as i could with my hand and then had to cut the plastic net pot to completely free up those roots without shocking the plant too much. the transplant was a success into soil 5gal, although I expected worse, and am expecting to be a few weeks behind to let her system reset/build. to make matters worse, its been VERY HOT in the midwest (90-100f). and here we go, later that same week, i accidentally left her overnight, and into the morning sun on a 100f day. as you can see from her burn marks, she clearly wasn’t able to defend herself against that type of extreme heat yet, and i was blessed to catch her before the afternoon heat, otherwise she’d be toast, lol. just a few of the upper leaves turned crispy. i know she wasn’t happy so i put her under more gentle conditions, now let’s see how she comes back

The plants continue to grow although slowly. I turned the Gavita back on this week and even at 42 inches it seems to be too much light at full power because although they're getting adequate nutrients, the leaves appear to be showing signs of damage to the chlorophyll pigments. I'd like to splurge and get the adapter and controller so that I can dim the light and slowly increase the intensity to allow for a more gradual photo acclimation period, but I will probably hold off until my next run. I've also considered adding supplemental Co2 to help the plants more effectively tolerate and take advantage of the light intensity, but it seems like a big expense for an uncertain benefit considering all of the other variables that are sub-optimal. Perhaps I'll give those Excellofizz Co2 pucks a try. Someday I'll build sealed grow room with automated Hvac, feeding, and Co2 enrichment but for now I'll soldier on and hope for the best as the flip to 12-12 approaches. More to come next week!

Lowered the ppm of the nutrient solution. Leaves starting to yellow.

Been a good week no signs of shock at all. I have only been watering them with Mills Vitilize silica supplement , i think ive been doing 1 mls per gallon, slowly increasing the dosage. topped 2 plants in here , now am i wishing i did it for some of the others . Day 1 for all of these was the 03-08-24

Hi Cannafam, its all about the microbes! Brewed a tea for 24hrs, of the soil activator 2.6g, fresh organic kefir 100g, EM1 4ml, aquaponics microbes (fresh semi solid fish waste) 100g. and molasses at a rate of 20g per gal. or 5g per Litre. Once brewed add yucca at a rate of 1ml per gal, then use as a foliar spray and root drench. Just thinking I should have added some worm castings to the mix as well. That's next for next week I guess.

Woah. She just keeps on gaining height. I remember readin somewhere that when grown in 11l pots they’ll only get to about 30cms - but that’s such misinformation 😂 that’s why I love learning from experience, even though the internet is a great source to gather information from. Last week I discovered some bronze spots on her leaves - and they haven’t disappeared yet. I suspected a calmag deficiency, so I started giving her more of it. I don’t care if the damage done doesn’t go away - I just don’t want it to get worse. 06/11: Fed her. It seems like she empties her pot every second day now. I usually feed her until runoff - and I feed her a lot. Someone suggested that I feed her less, so I’ll see how that goes. Maybe that’ll make some nutrients more available to her - I don’t know. Also I found a sticker for my desktop computer that I never used (I hate stickers) and I thought it would look well on her pot. It reads “Do Not Disturb” 06/12: She’s looking good - beautiful flowers are popping up here and there. 06/13: Not looking too good today. I don’t know if she was underwatered, but she was all droopy all day. I fed her twice and now it’s just a waiting game to see how she’ll react to that. 06/14: She’s well today! It’s such a game between me and my dramatic plant... I guess she was just acting hangry with me yesterday. 06/15: I thought some of her leaves were looking a bit dark - and possibly tacoing a bit? But it could just be the light. Regardless, I gave a little less grow nute, to back down from nitrogen. 06/16: Nothing new to say. She’s gorgeous and dramatic. 06/17: Fed her today. Can’t wait for her to buds to fatten... I feel so impatient 😂
