I’m watering the 7 girls (minus Trainwreck 1) every other day with 15+ gallons of R/O water & week 4 bloom nutes between 6.2-6.5 PH and 1100-1500 ppm. Every third feeding is just water with molasses Sept.. 7 the day started with 15+ millimeters of rain and wind gusts over 50 km/h. A couple of girls got blown over but luckily no broken branches. Time to start tying down these pots geez. I was checking up on Super Skunk auto #2 while she’s been drying and unfortunately bud rot has taking over most of her so the entire plant has been trashed. FAK!😢😢😢😢😢 Sept. 8 it's been overcast and humid all day and noticed some more powdery mildew on some of the girls. 😩 Unfortunately temps overnight have been in the mid to low teens celsius which is not helping Sept.9 mixed a new concoction of 3 teaspoons baking soda & 1 teaspoon vegetable oil to 500 ml of water and carefully sprayed fan and sugar leaves trying best to avoid bud sites. Sept.10 powdery mildew seems to be under control although the baking soda concoction burned some of the white hairs on a few buds. Trainwreck 1 is on her final week of nutrients followed by a long flush. Sept.12 the last couple of days have been cooler than average and somewhat breezy. The girls are looking healthy and the colas are starting to put on some serious weight so I added a few more bamboo stakes and a bunch of ties for more support. 👌😁👍 Sept.13 started the day with almost 15 mils of rain (that's about 1 inch for you non-metric peeps)😄 Colas are getting way heavy😲 A couple more branches snapped on Blue Fire 2. Once again had no issues had very good growth on all my plants, mother plant seems to use about 12/15l of water every 4 days just have to keep on top of that. Topping I did couple of weeks ago went a bit side ways as some plants seem to have 3 nodes at the top some how, Think is will be the last week in veg going to change light times next week to start flower, What would people’s views be on defoliation on the before flower should I do it now while there in veg or when I change the light cycle

The flowers are starting show a build up of crystals, I’m shocked at the speed this plant is producing flowers. They are filling up fast from the top down, as you can see still some time to go before all the main flowers are fully developed. The leaves show signs of heat damage and over watering but that’s ok. The heatwave has passed but it’s still on the warmer side. The cutting is flowering normally and is receiving light directly so hopefully it will produce a small flower or 2.

Hello, This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. I completely forgot about reporting last week. Got the roof re-shingled and they finished on Tue and I chopped fire wood when they left. Chopped for 3 days and on Sat. I couldn't remember if I reported... so I had to look... I hadn't... Oh well.. Got 3 weeks left to go and this is the last week for nutrients. I'll give a couple of weeks of ph adjusted tap water only, before harvest. Yes... I still like to flush... For better taste. I've tried growing right up to harvest before and was disappointed with the pot. Or had to harvest early, because of pests, and didn't flush. I could taste the nutrients left in the plant tissue. Have you ever tried the ash test to see how clean your pot is? When you smoke a joint, the ash at the end is supposed to be white and fall off the end easily, for the cleanest cannabis. It always takes 2 weeks flushing, for me, to get that good white ash. If your ash is gray... that's not too bad, if it falls off easily. But if it's dark gray with black streaks in it and is stiff and has to be pushed off the end of the joint, then it will probably taste bad too and has too much nutrient left in it... Have you ever smoked a joint and had it sizzle and soft pop (not like a seed pop) It has too much nutrient left in the plant Try your own test (smoke a joint) to see how your pot stacks up. OK. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent.
