Reduced the humidity further, set it to ~40% right now, but since we're in a severe heat-wave in germany right now (we are peaking at 30°C indoors and ~33°C in our "growroom") our dehumidifier is working overtime. Defoliating every few days, leaving us with sticky fingers and scissors. Buds are developing fine and growing very quickly in size. Leaves are getting more and more frosty, even removed some when defoliating and took a look at the trichomes under our mikroskopic lense. Very beautiful and dense trichome-structure; especially on the buds. The red-purple coloured parts of the buds, mentioned last week, are developing nicely and much quicker than expected. Even spotted some milky trichomes on the headbud here and there.

The weekly forecast turned to high percentage of rain every day for the rest of this week. Night 4 and Day 5 we had heavy rain and thunderstorms. Day 6 was heavy cloud cover all day with high humidity. Day 7 we had lots of rain and drizzle. Night 7 we had more rain. These two girls seem to love it. The haven't missed a beat and got a boost when they tapped into the fertilizer. The listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil and we're fed during week 1.

A little bit of defoliation in order for the side branches to reach better light. I usually don't go in to a heavy deforestation I just occasionally remove some of the big fan leaves in order to have better light penetration. So far the roots are going great not even a slight sign of bacteria or problems in the root zone. We have nice white roots and so far is all going great. Ill probably move them in a separate buckets in week 4. I'm not sure that I'll even have 4 weeks of vegetation becose some of them are starting to show the gender signs, so probably it will be like 3 weeks veg at maximum. I have heard that Athena usually are thirsty for CaMg so basically you have to add more. Plus I lower the pH to 5.8 and now the game is ON. I'll see in a couple of days but if I'm not satisfied probably I'll raise the EC to 600 with a little bit of higher CaMg for base. I don't even think that is possible to use LST effectively becose my plants are hard and woody and only possible way for me to deal with them is through scrogging. In fact im not going to experiment with cold light anymore full spectrum is the deal. So far I'm not touching the EC I'm waiting for the week to pass and to jump on even higher. Somehow and in my opinion Athena needs a little bit more EC Dan the recommend dose in the manual. So far that's the first fertilizer I see that needs more dan the recommendation on the label 🤣🤣🤣 Interesting fact is that now I can clearly see the reproductive organs of the plant. It's female but it's still in week two VEG. It turned out that my clip fan was blowing the humidifier mist toward my flowers. I notisec that only two of the plants have this types of burbs and those are the once right next to the fan. I have changed the fan position and the dehumidifier positions and now I hope all will be fine. I have defoliated a little bit of big fan leaves and I hope in the end of the next week I'll have time to move the RDWC buckets becose I'm a little bit busy does days. I have lower the PPFD becose it seems that this is a bit to much for the flowers.

. So were should i start lol they all growing and streaching as they should. Week 6 and my girls are finally in flower! 😍 And wow, the girl on the front stretched out a lot and it seems she's also a couple of days more mature than her sister! That also helped me to take some cool photos in a really short span of time! Hopefully the ones I took are enough! Don't forget to check the timelapse of well!! My girls now are taking flower fertilizers and I did some more aggressive LST on them, plus a very selective defoliation for both girls. I want the light to spread as much as possible to get some big flowers in the future! Sadly, not everything was good! I noticed some magnesium deficiency on the girl that's on the back. Perhaps I was giving them a water that was too high in pH? Or what else could it be? Maybe a root lockout? No idea but I decided to lower the pH of this week and see how she evolves. This week I have stepped up the pk13/14 , to produce the pistols quicker

Plants are now what appears in Week 4 of flower, even though the natural light cycle is still above 14 hours per day. It’s likely that the streak of cloudy mornings over the past couple of weeks has contributed to the transition by simulating shorter effective light periods.. that in addition to going from indoor to outdoor Nutrient Activity: • Started the week with a cap mag-only feeding to address ongoing signs of magnesium deficiency. • Later in the week, applied a strict Epsom salt feeding at 1 tsp per gallon, one dose per plant. I also moved my watering schedule from late in the evenings too early morning and midday to address a potential cold shock. Observations: • Minor yellowing remains present, particularly in the older leaves. Still leaning toward a magnesium deficiency as the primary cause. • Toward the end of the week, tip burn began to appear, likely due to nutrient buildup from trying to aggressively correct the deficiency. It’s a delicate line right now between resolving deficiencies and avoiding overfeeding. ⸻ Next Steps / Adjustments: • Reduce feedings to no more than twice per week going forward to minimize the risk of nutrient burn. • Monitor new growth and bud development closely for any signs of stress or improvement. • If tip burn continues or worsens, consider a mild flush to rebalance the root zone. If the yellowing stabilizes and tip burn is contained, I’ll resume light feeding adjustments in the following week.

Everything is filling up the canopy nicely so I flipped to flower (10/19/18) so they don’t get to out of control during the first couple weeks as they like to stretch. Will be doing a slight Lollipopping in the next day or 2 and will have to add a second layer of trellis either this week or next.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Was a pretty smooth week for most the girls. Showing some steady growth. I topped all of the plants around day 12 other than the slurricane 7. Ph got a little high since the nutrient level was too low to buffer it at the beginning of the week. Slurricane 7 and sugar cane are the ones that took some damage. I think they will be ok though. I upped the nutrients to 1/4 tsp per gallon and the ph has held stable since then. Should be able to start some training the middle of next week and looks like we might be going 2 more weeks on veg before flipping them to flower depending on how this upcoming week goes. Guess you will have to show up next week to find out...

The tower now has an extra floor made of pool stick I topped two big buds that reached their 5th node Just changed the water and i m going out for two weeks I added some bloom nutrient into the mix as i'm probably going into flowering 12/12 next week as some girls are too tall All the purple punch died they are fragile I liked them tho since the girl seemed so compact and small with many buds I will try and plant another bunch of purple punch later
