Ginger Nut Cookies and Aussie music videos week six Thursday 6th feb 2020 Hi Growers well I decided to bite the bullet and attempt some LST and topping , I gently bent it over and tied each branch down to a predrilled hole in the pot with some soft wire. I then topped each node that was showing. If any one has any extra tips or advice on how I should go about my training I would welcome it as I am still learning . This girl is definately showing some Indica dominant characteristics about her and looks nice and healthy. I will continue to train the branches as they grow and tuck fan leaves that block light . Now for the Music Videos ###### This Week I chose two songs from two different Music Videos and two different artists both spreading the message about Reconciliation and land rights for our Indigenous Brothers and sisters here in Australia . This is something I feel is very important and is still a major issue over 200 years later. Last week was budtastic! Really starting to see a lot of bud sites starting to pack it on, except 1 of the 4 plants, the largest seems to be at least a week behind in development. These are early version seeds and are supposed to be a 45 day flower. I’m not seeing that in any of the 4 cases, I’m guessing we are gonna push at least 60 days on them. But the one that’s the biggest and behind a week may not have gotten the early flowering gene I’m guessing. Just a normal Delicious Candy maybe? hope not cause it’s getting cut down with the rest regardless to make way for new ones! lol can’t be messing up my rotation for 1 plant. I’ll use it for my rosin press maybe and see what it does. I tried hitting them with my light turned up full at 1000w for a few hours but they didn’t seem to like it, stared to see left tips curl up not to long after. I refreshed the reservoir with new water and lowered the Ec to about 1.0 as I want them to begin to start their flush, I think we will see what the tricombs look like at the end of the week. There are no signs of any amber yet but lots are cloudy, and I will probably be pulling them around 20% amber as I like the THC high more. anyways that’s it, Day 42 and all is good so far. Cheers! 💨

Day 71. Girls just perfect ;))) As any grower i would want, bigger, fatter, stronger, but they are in that range anyway, now main thing not to screw up ;))) Girls on nute, water, water+calmag, water+silicaAcid, water+molasses rhythm and just love life ! Day 72. Got more presents, thank You Zamnesia ! Asked for 4 strains, got 2 ;))) Still 10 beans and full grow by one house, like i always try to do. Always wanted to try out Runtz, all grows that i saw - was sick ! Kalini Asia - new taste and strain for me 4sure ! Day 76. All is good , they are missing CalMag from those lights a bit and with such amount of buds, but should be fine. Todays watering was only with CalMag, ph 6.5. Next watering full nute blast, should be fun to observe, they are starving a bit , so i hope for huge grow rate after. Tried 4 month cured weed at a friends, he had to chop girl on week 6 of flower, with nutes still being fed. After an hour head pain , ash was still black ... I would never try not to flush .... In week 6 the twelve AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS continue to THRIVE and in the meantime they have TOTALLY FILLED OUT the space in the HOMEBOX tent. Therefore on day 41 (=flowering day 13) its time to DEFOLIATE the plants and take off the biggest fan-leaves and lowest branches of each plant (see in video). In this second week of flowering they continue to get fed every watering with MILLS NUTRIENTS (following their feeding schedule from the MILLS website I changed from 1 ml START-R to 1 ml of C-4 now) and since they have a healthy dark-green color nothing further needs to be done. The SANlight LEDs are still dimmed to 60% (=one GREEN LIGHT on dimmer ON) and are appr. 70 cm above the top of the plants. The humidity inside the tent is dropping now, it went from 59% (due to bad weather outside and nothing I can change) to 41 % right now.

Day 70 (Day F26): streching has started

26.06 After connecting the air conditioner, the temperature stabilized and I have differences of about 7-8 degrees between day and night. Today I replaced one mixing fan, because the well-deserved Chinese one has already lost its power. He served almost 2 years, which is a really good result. I replaced it with High Pro, none of them lasted as long as the Chinese one. The plants look very nice, I haven't noticed excessive activity of Sciara militaris. Soil Attack and yellow sticks do the job. Humidity 53% 27.06 The stems have regenerated nicely, but I'm still going to hold the knees a bit to strengthen them. I added water from Soil Attack. They swell beautifully, the hair on the flowers is very long, which means good adaptation. Water 2L. Humidity 63% 2.07 I measured the amount of PPFD at peak places and they were too low. So I lowered the lamps. I added a small dose of Power Silica to strengthen the stems, because after super cropping the plants may have a problem with maintaining the top. The conditions are good. Day 28-29 degrees, night 19-21. Humidity from 54-63%. At this stage, I can easily maintain such humidity, especially since I have well-mixed air in the tent.

Wow can't believe another week has passed already! Had a busy week with Christmas and family dinners and whatnot so got #1-3 topped early in the week on Xmas Eve. Didn't even look shocked the next day and by end of the week the growth is 1.5" on the new mains already 💪. Topped them maybe a day or so early, it was tight work but looks like all three plants were done properly as can be seen in the pics. Have been watering daily, working on keeping the soil moist and it seems to be making for happy plants. Trying to follow the BuildaSoil watering guide, basically if you think of soil moisture on scale of 1-10, 1 being desert dry and 10 being mud, you want to keep the soil between a 3-7 at all times to promote best organic life 🤷. So if looking at it on a 2 day cycle for me that means day 1 is about 500ml per plant, but day 2 is only 125ml per plant. Also watering with the sprayer seems to be keeping the soil from compacting as badly as it has in previous runs. Also the girls never look sad after watering so must be doing something right 🤞👍. They were in the 4x4 for 3 days, power issues due to big winter storm but even at the high end of VPD (.9) they did well. Could tell a difference though once they did get back in the 3x3 (.5-.6) much happier plants. Hope everyone has had a great holiday season and is enjoying their gardens!
