*Week 6 of flowering 10/01* Critical +2.0 - Apple Fritter Both plants are nearing harvest and have maxed out at a height of 48 inches. Buds have developed heavy trichomes and are giving off a bright and vibrant smell. 85% of both plants have grown in their orange hairs and have a bright green and orange tint, Today will be the last nutrient feed, I will be using the "Lotus Carboflush" starting tomorrow (10/02) to remove the salt build up until harvest which will be next week (10/09) * 10/8 - Cut down* Both are heavy on top - Covered in trichomes - smells deep (Citrus) Dry trimming in two weeks - aiming for 14 day cure. *Day 2 Dry Hang Video uploaded 10/09* *10/15 - Harvest should be completed by the end of this week - 10/20*

Well I stumbled thru my first week. Lucky that she needed humidity because it was abundant. She didnt need much from me yet other than some ph adjustments but today is the end of week 1 and I will be adding nutes tonight.

She is as tall as the other plants positioned on the top shelf. I topped Cadillac1 but since she is asymmetrical, I don’t think topping will create 2 tops. Time will tell. All the girls bounced back after the topping. Blütewoche 8: Es breitet sich ein wunderschöner Duft beim öffnen des Zeltes aus. Die Blüten schwellen noch immer an. Hier wird einiges im Komposter enden falls mir nicht doch noch der Schimmel einen Strich durch die Rechnung macht. Die Skywalker scheint wahrlich einen direkten Draht zur Macht zu haben. Werde ich definitiv nochmal anbauen! Einige Blüten scheinen teils viel zu schwer für die Stengel zu sein. Das netz macht sich hier mal wieder bezahlt. Ein leichter Mangel macht sich an den unteren Blättern bemerkbar. Ist mir aber nur recht, Ende dieser Woche wird es das letzte mal Dünger geben. Grüße 👋

This is the story of two Siamese Fat Bananas. The two little ones were born by magic from the love of the TegridyCal growers, the pot had reversed in the car, it had been filled at random and the seed replanted and of course two came out. Today, after a few days in the same jar, they were separated from the doctors of TegridyCal and the operation was perfectly successful. Prognosis 4 months and the big banana buds are ready

So, guys.. This is her first month blooming. 4 complete weeks has passed. Here we are for 2 more. Gave Her a super powerful egg shell fert (all powdered - Phosforium Whelthy.) 07/10/20 - We are in the middle of week 5. Thats the way they look like. For me a good number of buds and they are as dense as I thought they would be by this time. I think everything is under control despite some foxtails cuz the heat. Loving the experience.

Switch 12/12 - 18/11/2025 Ieri dopo 2 giorni che non andavo a controllare mi accorgo che gli irrigatori erano tappati, quindi non circolava acqua nell'impianto, 2 delle piante sembravano morte che non cel'avrebbero fatta... invece in sole 24 h si sono riprese alla grande, domani cambio acqua e nutrienti

Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. One study found that acute, high-dose UV-B had a greater effect on genome stability than chronic, low-dose exposure. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.

She’s growing in Sonnenerde (yes, real “sun soil” 🌞🌱) and has already stretched like crazy. Honestly, she smells phenomenal – a strong sweet citrus candy vibe in the air 🍊🍬. I’m a bit worried she might turn into a giant later on, but that’s part of the fun 😅. I didn’t catch the moment right after transplanting to see how she reacted, but hey – it’s all part of the experiment. Ein bisschen Sorge hab ich schon, dass sie nachher ein richtiger Riese wird 😅. Leider hab ich den Moment nach dem Umtopfen nicht getappt, um zu sehen, wie sie reagiert hat – aber egal, ist ja ein Experiment. They continue yellowing and I have raised the concern in questions. People say it may be natural cycle ending , but northern lights seem to have some more time to go. I fed them EC 1,3-1,4 a day before posting. I will stop watering every day , seems like even low nutrient solution lead to build up , even though I did flush. Doing nutes-water -nutes till the end flush. Fellows, please also let me know , is this result fine , considering the fact I was dragging them with 300W this whole time and installed the 600w light a week ago ?
