On the grow itself, I just got twice as much yield with 1/3 fewer plants by switching to coco and CocoTek, I would count that a win. Zero stress so I was right, grow them without stress and you will be rewarded. Just the easiest best smelling little plant to grow. Always germs well and produces long as you treat her right. second week of flowering done. They were stretching like crazy. Installed a 3rd net to keep the stretch under control. Jumped from 35 cm to 83 cm in 2 weeks. They giving me some headache because of the hight. Should have send them 1 or 2 weeks earlier into flower. But it’s a lesson how to handle or not handle hybrids and sativas. Over all in was quite relaxing just adding water/ nutrients and doing some defoliation. So far so good. it’s quite easy to keep them on the same level with 3 nets. Still learning how to handle certain situations and conditions. But so far I am happy. They have got a massive need of Kalium at the moment. Should have given them more TA -Grow nutrients. But that’s party of learning. Really happy about the aeroponic setup. Really like the full control of the grow medium. (Compared to soil it’s easier for control freaks). Really water efficient compared to dwc/hydro/soil and changes made take effect pretty fast. Really nice oxygen supply at the roots and overall nice control possibilities regarding to roots and medium/solution. A possible downside could be that u can only use mineral nutrients and no organic nutrients. (We want some bacteria and fungus but not these ones that break down organic nutrients. That is more a preference thing than anything else. Good made hydro can compete with soil easily but most ppl put to much in there and ruin it any way. (Don’t want to trigger its good that everyone got its own style and evolves it in his needs and conditions.) The maintenance effort that is required for aero is a bit higher than soil and dwc but it pays off. (Personal opinion but numbers proof it) Looking forward to the next weeks and flower build up. Week 3 has ended for Ms Purple So far so good, she’s responding well to training. The side branches are as sturdy and as tall as the main branch I’m happy. This should equal to even light distribution on the canopy and more bud sites 🙂 I’m defoliating here and there to make sure the plant stays aerated. Let’s see how everything goes. Happy growing

Tough going first few weeks going to look close on the postmortem for the roots and see if I can tell what was causing the issues with Phos, Ca, Mg lockouts. Foliar saved the day Was very disappointed in the germination rate which caused delays in grow cycle and threw off my whole grow system. It forced me into 7 gallon pots to try and save the yield and THAT may be where the issues arose with the pots, I had to use another bin of soil for the extra soil. Still I should have known better and just stuck with the 5 gallon pots but was trying to get yield. Worked too on Layla and Maggie, nothing was going to help the stunting on Brandy which I dropped from the grow. So 60% germination is not acceptable unless its tomatoes... Dont get me wrong though, this strain has a LOT of good qualities, it not only survived my foul up but produced one excellent plant and one monster out of the three that germed. May try it again next year, think it would be stellar in coco. Beyond that a quality product, just had issues. Day 11: We have: 3x White Widow 1x Critical 2x Special Queen #1 1x Special Kush #1 Important: The method used "jiffy" is efficient and fast but in another possible germination I will definitely do the "paper towel" method first. It is important to note that for good germination, the seeds must have as little soil as possible on top, where I delayed by 1 week due to the fact that the seed was very deep in a jiffy. I reduced the distance of the LED from 60cm to 30cm because we still have plants that are stretching too much so this was the measure adopted awaiting results. For 8 pots of 0.5L, 500ml of pure water containing: 1ml Voodoo Juice 1ml Sensi Grow A+B (2ml total) 1ml B52 2ml CalMag The net proportion was satisfactory.

These lady's have been very good started they flush last Monday they have shown alot of colors one has turned very purply and another has shown its red pheno along with purple I have that just green pheno but are frosty all the lady looking healthy and doing going initially got about a week left before they getting chopped down

The plant is looking great!! I've done super cropping (hst) with some clips and it's working perfectly!! I think she's starting to go into preflower but at the moment there are no signs of pistiles or strong odour.

Great strain, would recommend. Nice smoke/vapor, friends love it, stupefying and euphoric, no heavy couch lock like heavy indicas. Taste great in The Mighty vaporizer, citrus with a hint of pine.

16.02 First day of the fourth week of flower. Defoliated a little bit again. This time around I’m picking smaller amounts of leaves every day in comparison to one major defoliation on one day. Also I ve added pk booster at 100 ppm.( 0.2 ec) will gradually raise it over the next weeks. Lowering the base nutrients. I think they finally stopped the stretch and they are barely fitting in the tent. I ve added some swirski ulti mite . Predatory mites as prophylactic measure for thrips. I’ve noticed some tiny damage on a couple of leaves. And a couple of larvae.

These girls are a pleasure to grow. On total auto pilot. Just water daily and pull dying leaves off the bottom of the girls. You get heavy tones of blueberry muffins when you open the tent.

final week. after this i flush and harvest the soil plant looks horrible the hydro looks pretty fat
