Another week done. Final selection of the 3 phenotypes I found in a 10 seed run of the f4's. I am pretty confident I'll be carrying on the dark purple/red male since heavy anthocyanins production is what I was hunting for in this particular venture. Will be collecting pollen as I'm doing a good job keeping humidity low in the grow room so should be pretty viable. Will be crossing this into my winner from the ethos hash plant run as well as the rainbow belts

End of week 4, beginning of week 5. This will be my second complete grow in a RDWC system. I have just over 18 months experience in growing. For the first year I had a few plants that I grew whilst doing my homework. I'm still applying my learning's but I think the pictures are enough for me to claim I've done pretty well completely on my own. Still undecided in defoliating but that top shot I have is a pretty damning photo. My idea is to let the plant choose by removing sicker leaves in there that I can pull off easily or feel damp and soft from humidity. In saying that...it's been healthy all through atm. I think the lights below really help in keeping the humidity down a little and also negating the shade response from how thick it is. Anyway, still experimenting, lots to learn.

Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. Pow Pow Pow what can i say, i mean even the frogs here were hypnotized with this monstrosity size Mama she is all one can ask and so much more, wen harvesting these cutie pie beast Lady i felt the need to break her in small peaces , or smaller that the them baseball bats collas hihihi OMG them colas OMG . This was my harvest update^^

Plants are now growing slowly and start focusing on flowering. Compare last week more pistils are visible and getting bigger and longer. In this week, LST is still on effect and no defoliating at the moment until I flush the plants around week 10. Still same feeding schedule, twice a week with interval of 3-4 days. Temperature and humidity are monitored daily, as well as tucking leaves that are blocking the pistils underneath.

The buds are getting fat and there are plenty of bud sites and they are nice and frosty now the 2 that were lagging behind certainly aren't that far behind. I have bamboo canes ready to go in soon as the side branches are getting heavy and i don't want them to get snapped or anything now I come this far 40 days on 12/12 today Thanks for taking the time to read my update 🙏💚

This lady tends to stay small, but the she has quite a explosive veg time. She will not grow tall but she will produce many side branches that will continue side branches. There for the plants can be very leafy, and will produce unnecessary shadow that will block the canopy. Due to blocking of the canopy after the 5 first CM high chance useless pop corn bud will develop. So with this strain it is very important to train her wel and make sure the light can penetrate the lower branches aswel, if you want to have enjoyable sweet dense buds all of the plant and branches. Have a good grow!

Day 42. General Hydroponics maxigro every other watering. Frosting up nicely.

Been fighting higher humidity lately during lights off. Other than that environment is in check. I am watering every other day most of the week. I am finding fade on the lower leaves which could be to lack of nitrogen but nothing to worry about as the plants are budding fine. I decided to drop cal-mag this week to try and end up at 1 ml per gallon for the last month. I will keep a close eye for mag deficiency. The stretch is about done by the end of this week.
