A big week for defoliation and lollipop. It is evident that topping an asymmetrical plant does create more tops, slightly uneven. The 6 Strawberry plants are huge for 7 weeks. Originally, I was planning to wait until January to transplant, however, the roots were showing out of the bottom of the pots, and every plant is over a foot tall and half are over 2 feet. I believe the CO2 Exhale bag makes a difference in the speed of growth and development. These are heavy feeders. All showed some nitrogen deficiency earlier on and I’ve increased feeding. I planned to use grow dots extended for photo period plants when I transplanted them to 5 gal. I asked Santa in early November, and he kept sending notice that the order had been delayed. So, I decided to use TPS1 for this grow. I flipped to 12/12 on 12/28 and will water only this week. I hope to reduce the stretch during the first 2 weeks of flower. I must admit; I took on more than I can handle. I started these in November expecting them to be much smaller at 6 weeks. But no, these gals have grown with vigor. I had these 6 huge plants and 4 autos in the 4X4 tent. They grew faster and bigger than the autoflowers am used to growing. Christmas week was hectic with 5 harvests, 6 transplants and defoliation. I had to have my husband assist in the transplant to hold the plant as I held the fabric pot open. A side note: I’m taking applications for Spring & Summer cabana boy positions when I go to the beach. Got a second SF-2000 light to finish flowering on day 80 defoliated on day 82 Flowers are starting to pop. 👍

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Looking really good. Not super stocked on the structure of the buds themselves but can’t complain about anything else. Seeing lots of foxtailing in the GD and GG but not at all in the other two - which is interesting. My guess is that if I had thinned the plants much more aggressively I would be seeing more of the photogenic large colas that I was after. Next time!

Great week! Explosive growth was the theme, and over the past 3 days they've gained 4 inches. I was inspired by a few growers on here to do more lst this round, we will see if it pays off or not. Finicky is still doing very well, I would say she's outpacing the other plant at this point. Started my bloom nutrients, and began to wean them off the veg nutes. There are plenty of nodes for buds, but a lot of them haven't shot up yet like some of the main stalks. The right plant was looking a little droopy this morning, realized they were probably an inch too close to the light. Hoping to get another week of stretch out of them, but I could see them shifting into bud production mode soon. Excited to see what's coming up over the next few weeks, stay tuned ladies and gentlemen!

The plants got a big defoliation of a lot of the lower growth in lolipop style fashion, either flipping to flower next week or waiting two weeks. I’ve had to start using neem oil because it seems some little critters are eating my plant leaves. It’s very minimal and small just better to be safe than sorry, currently at day 40 of the Grow. Just moved the light up a few more inches compared to the plants canopy. Seems as if they’re getting a little light stress since I turned the light all the way up to the full 1,000 blast. Comenzamos con la fertilización de nuestras plantas, correspondiendo con la semana 2 de la tabla. Recordad que la semana de germinación no cuenta como vegetativo. Mezclamos 4ml x litro de Grow-Soldier by JUJU Royal BioBizz y 1ml x litro de Green-Mystic by JUJU Royal BioBizz. Total 10 litros, 5 de agua osmotizada y 5 de agua del grifo, mezclados con los 40ml y 10ml, de los fertilizantes. Ajustamos el PH con reguladores BIO, en el caso que sea necesario y regamos todas las macetas. De esta forma aportaremos los nutrientes necesarios para que nuestras plantas puedan comer en el sustrato de de coco.

Starting week 3 of flowering and week 6 of over all growth. she seems to be very happy now that I've fixed the pH issue and she is growing pretty fast. I decided to do a decent defoliation and pull everything to the sides again trying to keep her as wide as possible. I also super-cropped a few of the shoots in the middle to keep them at the same height as the branches I pulled down and to the side.

Didn't ensure the door to my grow room latched last night. Awoke to my plants being grazed on, my lights knocked over, and one fuzzy asshole tomcat curled up next to a knocked over light.
