Kweekverslag Week 3: Cheese van Seeds Genetics Datum: 18 maart 2025 Het is weer tijd voor een kweekverslag, en dit keer over mijn Cheese-plant van Seeds Genetics! Week 3 is voorbij, en het is geweldig om te zien hoe deze soort zich ontwikkelt. Laten we eens kijken naar de details van deze spannende week. Groei en Ontwikkeling: In week 3 is mijn Cheese-plant flink aan het groeien! De bladeren zijn robuust en hebben een heldergroene kleur die doet denken aan een weelderig weiland. De internodes beginnen mooi te verlengen, en ik zie al enkele takken zich ontwikkelen die veelbelovend zijn voor een goede opbrengst. Het is echt een plezier om naar te kijken terwijl de plant zich zo goed ontwikkelt. Voeding: Ik heb de voedingsstoffen zorgvuldig afgestemd op de behoeften van de plant. Deze week heb ik een combinatie van stikstofrijke en kaliumrijke meststoffen gebruikt om zowel de vegetatieve groei als de bloei te stimuleren. De Cheese-plant lijkt deze mix te waarderen, want de bladeren stralen gezondheid uit en zijn stevig. Licht en Temperatuur: De lichtcyclus blijft op 18 uur licht en 6 uur duisternis, wat optimaal lijkt voor deze soort. De temperaturen variëren tussen de 21-24°C, wat ideaal is. De luchtvochtigheid heb ik rond de 52% gehouden, wat perfect lijkt voor de groei en voorkomt dat de plant uitdroogt. Training: Ik heb deze week ook begonnen met low-stress training (LST) om de takken in bedwang te houden en meer licht naar de lagere delen van de plant te laten komen. Het is ongelooflijk om te zien hoe Cheese zich aanpast aan de training. De takken zijn al begonnen te groeien, en de naastliggende scheuten krijgen ook meer kans om zich te ontwikkelen. Gezondheidscheck: Tot nu toe is alles gezond en in topconditie! Er zijn geen tekenen van plagen of ziekten, en de bladeren zijn vrij van vlekken of andere afwijkingen. Ik controleer regelmatig op eventuele problemen en zorg ervoor dat ik de plant goed water geef. Conclusie: Al met al was week 3 een fantastische periode voor mijn Cheese-plant. De groei is indrukwekkend, de geur begint zich te ontwikkelen, en de plant voelt sterk aan. Ik ben benieuwd naar wat de komende weken zullen brengen en kijk ernaar uit om meer updates te geven! Completed a 2 week flush, I had almost complete orange pistols, trichomes about 90% milky, little amber here and there. Actually stayed harvesting about midnight and finished up about 5am Xmas morning!!!!!!! I’m buying a scale tomorrow and recording the wet/dry weight to complete this diary. Because I'm little worried about the size of the flowers and their resin, I started adding green sensation of plagron, lets see what can do. As you can see I'm waiting to the last moment to watering, in order to stress a little bit my plants and get more resin.

Now 48h in the darkroom

This is flushing week. It’s a long debated topic whether to flush organic or not, but according to Biobizz this is the way to go. Some amber trics have appeared already, so next week she will reach choppington town. It’s crazy to think about this is just half of the battle, the drying and curing must be done right too. I have high hopes for this strain and can’t wait to try the first sample!

Aug 1st Topped the one in smaller container

They loving life so far, bushy and short, topped her and removed some of the big fan leaves. Love this strain👌🏼, didn't face any issues so far since it's my first grow. Last week before sending them to flowering, trying to give them some shape, making sure all leaves getting enough light, looking so healthy.

Okay so this week things have started to really take off in every way. Buds glistening and fattening up more by the day. Extreme resin production on the cereal milk, sugar and fan leaves on the cereal milks are COATED in trichomes. The wedding cakes also have a fair resin production and covered in trichomes and are seriously starting to fatten up! The smell is very pungent and come out of nowhere compared to last week. The wedding cake has a sweet, earthy Almost vanilla like smell and the cereal milk has a very pungent cookies sweet smell with hints of fruityness. So far so good cant wait to see how these turn out. Been told they are 8-9 week flowering strains from other people who have grown the same Cuttings so not long left!

She has flowers sprouting out, it seems, from everywhere! I did dive into the middle of her canopy and removed a dozen or so small, scraggly shoots that would have only drawn nutrients that are better served elsewhere on the plant! 8/4- Our weather continues to be hot and humid. I am continuing with my daily watering routine, watering in the late afternoon after the sun sets. I went through the underside of the GG4 Sherbet FF and removed some shade leaves that were either dead and brown or all yellow, and basically gave the entire plant a good look over to spot any issues that may arise as early as possible. If any issues are identified, it's a lot easier to cure them when they are spotted early! 8/6- We finally have some much needed rain on the way in the way of a tropical system which will be bringing on and off showers beginning tomorrow through the 9th. As a result of this gift from above I will not have to water the rest of this week! 8/8- Well there's three full weeks in flower for the GG4 Sherbet FF and she's continuing on course to be another epic result from FastBuds genetics! July 27: she’s starting to preflower so I’m going with phyto-forcing using a 730 nm light for a few seconds at dusk each night. This puts plant into dark mode two hours faster so it’s like getting two more hours of darkness making it a 26 h day. Good trick, and super easy. July 30: video showing how I make my lazy compost tea. Best plants in four seasons of outdoor growing so it definitely works. A similar commercial product would be Recharge which has molasses, Humic acids and bacteria. Aug 1: plants always look super healthy after a round of compost tea.
