Day 66 update resulting decision of defoliation. I treated them well but in my opinion they can catch a big breath now :)

So far so good :). Cantaloupe haze needed more runoff as leaves were clawing.

D42: She looks like she was responding to the switch to the hps tent by going into flower, but I pulled out my last flowering plant and switched the bulb to MH so it'll be interesting to see if she revegs now of if she keeps trying to flower. I had a plant do this before and I ended up chucking it because it got confused and stopped growing. She's got tonnes of nodes now though, pulled four fan leaves from the main stem to open up the insides to light and due the half attempt at mainlining at a young age she's got weird posture and lots of branches. Gave her a feed of organic grow. D47: another feed of organic grow and humid acids. Some more lst, and picked four leaves off that were blocking nodes. D48: looked like she took almost the whole week to look like she recovered from the transplant shock. The lst yesterday made everything real nice and even. I think I'll keep tying her down and when all the branches reach the same height I'll change the tent to flower.

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

She finally stopped her heightgrowth. Happy with that, because i don't have more space to hang the growlight any higher. I decided to give her more nutrients this week. She also did trink more water (4.2L in this week), although she was only exposed to the growlight and had no direct sun anymore. She smells incredibly sweet. I quite enjoy it, and sniff here every day 😅 Really curious how long it will take until i'm going to harvest her. I decided to wait until she has 60 to 80% brown trichomes. One of her leafes on the bottom still isn't looking too good and is more yellow, so i probably going to cut it in the next few days.

She was switched to flower this week, and is starting to stretch through the net. I decide not to let her grow any taller and rather save some time and let her stretch directly through screen, she seems very happy with the nutrients and will continue with this mix until she shows real signs of flower. And then will start the flower solution.

she has grown very well so far, beautiful leaves and large branches especially the thunder. Now at the beginning of flowering it is a little worrying us because it seems a little faded and we would not like to have done something wrong but I'm not sure.

Very explosive growth this week! Things progressing very well.

DAY 42 F: Another roasting week in the grow room. Temps have been hitting 37°c still and keeping them watered has been a battle. The water has been taken up instantly and they had built up a little too much nute in the soil. We have a major yellowing of 2 of the middle row plants ( mango x mimosa fast bud cream cookie) They are still building buds but you can see the effort is taking them without the green for photosynthesis. Hopefully they will be fixable over the coming days. The Banana mash are doing well and even with the heat issues , still bud building. They have shaggy looking buds at present but I am confident they will become more solid soon and swell more. They have a pungent banana hit now and they are so tacky to touch too. The mutant #4 has really spread put at the back of the middle row and is producing some nice looking buds too. Purple Monkey continue to make me drool when I handle them and the buds up close look so edible. With their sweet candy smell and pinky/reds , i cant wai to try these out. They are just pushing their second pistil flush so should swell nicely over the next week or so. The heat has not bothered these at all it seems and keeping them nice and areated to avoid mould being able to form has been this weeks task. All fed and watered for the day now . Defoliation and lst of the four super sour s1 and the 2 peanut butter soufflés as well they are growing great. Flipping to flowering in the next 3-4 weeks

Minimal effort, great result

Leaves are changing, and doing out. Trichomes are starting to get cloudy, as well as the hairs turning orange and curling.
