After deciding to start this new growing journey, I chose to germinate a Banana Purple Punch seed from Fast Buds. This particular strain caught my attention with its unique characteristics, and I couldn't resist giving it a try. I began by using a hydrogen peroxide water solution to germinate the seed, which helps oxygenate the water and prevent harmful pathogens. After about 36 hours, the seed cracked open, revealing the first signs of life. With a taproot emerging, I carefully transplanted the sprouted seed into a 20L airpot, ensuring enough room for the roots to breathe and grow freely. This marks the beginning of an exciting new adventure, nurturing this intriguing strain to its full potential.🌱💚 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ One of my cannabis seedlings unfortunately didn’t survive in the pot....😭 Now, I’m trying again with two more seeds of the same strain, but I’ve changed my approach. I’m hopeful that this method will help me handle the early phase of the cannabis plants more successfully, and I’m excited to see how things turn out.💚💚

Segunda semana desde el cambio de horario a 12/12h, la planta ha continuado estirándose, esta semana otros 10cm, pero no hay problema, porque ninguna planta va a pasar de los 70cm de altura que era mi objetivo inicial. La planta está con el metabolismo disparado, consume mucha agua de riego y los brotes florales comienzan a tomar protagonismo, las fuertes ramas están preparadas para soportar cogollos monstruosos, yo también! Por en cuanto estoy esperando pacientemente que todos los cultivos paren el estiramiento, creo que será en estos días, para hacer un importante cambio de luces y comenzar con mi arsenal de Bio Fertilizantes específicos para floración. Yo cultivo con luces intensas con temperaturas de color apropiadas en cada etapa, para provocar mayor fotosíntesis y favorecer al tiempo la compactación de la planta en crecimiento vegetativo y para producir cogollos muy grandes y densos en floración, a la vez, la mayor captación de energía provoca mayor consumo de agua y nutrientes, y si el sustrato y las raíces han llegado a floración preparadas, el sistema lo completo con control de temperatura/humedad y máxima aireación en la carpa de cultivo, lo cierto es que esta parte no me da problemas, pues mantengo la carpa muy aireada y fresca sin sobrepasar los 26°C en los ápices, la humedad en mi casa no es problema. Yo no le tengo miedo a la intensidad de luz y sólo soy precavido con la temperatura/humedad por la circunstancia de cultivar en interior y macetas, porque he vivido en diferentes lugares sub tropicales, he visto también cultivos de marihuana en África y he comprobado la intensidad de la luz solar, las luces artificiales son un mero juego comparadas con el sol, y el calor de esas zonas y como se desarrolla el cannabis espectacularmente! Esta temporada todas las plantas se muestran muy saludables y vigorosas, esta vez conseguí alejar mi impaciencia con relación a la cantidad de riego, los experimentos radicales y las altas concentraciones de Bio Nutrientes en la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo, y se nota. A partir de ahora las mezclas de riego cambian mucho, la planta en floración necesita más variedad de nutrientes y minerales que en la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo, donde necesita más cantidad pero de menos variedad de nutrientes y minerales. Con el último riego hice un aporte de una mezcla de enmiendas secas al sustrato, en ese mismo riego incluí melaza para dar energía extra a los Microorganismos y que comiencen a comer este aporte extra de materia orgánica, nutrientes y minerales. Esta temporada estoy limitando el uso de melaza en riegos, hasta ahora la usaba en todos y en cada uno de los riegos, desde el inicio hasta el final de los cultivos. pero esta temporada he usado la melaza sólo en las primeras semanas de cultivo para potenciar la proliferación de la Microbiología en el sustrato y la expansión de las raíces, y desde hace dos semanas dejé de añadir melaza cuando las plantas han tenido un volumen importante, ahora, del aporte de azúcares para dar energía a los MM se encargará la propia planta, no es que haya observado anomalías evidentes por el uso continuado de la melaza, pero no quiero influir en el sabor ni en los aromas originales de las plantas. All right here we are guys Midway through week 3 of flower and she should have more production but due to the extreme training and the amount of Bud sites there's a lot of energy being distributed between so many areas that I don't think I'm going to be left with many huge buds but as I mentioned before many thumb size which is fine by me as long as the nugs are tight and smoke as good as I can hope for.. strawberry cough has been one of those elusive strains for me for one I never thought I'd ever even be able to grow cannabis let alone grow the strain that I've been wanting to grow since I was 14 and I'm 38 now going on 39... Long story short this has been a long time coming and so now I'm only a month and a half or so away from it becoming a reality is really awesome... She is now picking up the pace. Struggled to keep up with watering. She is taking 5 litres per day in a 3.8 litre pot. Buds are getting bigger and overall she is doing well. Not much smell yet.

Today is Day 50 !! We have started flower an they are just looking amazing! We have switched up the nutrients for flower, instead of 1 tsp bloom and 3 tsp of veg , we just swap 3 tsp of bloom and 1 tsp of veg !! Can’t wait to see what these laddies do this week!!

Well the stretch well and truly came! She is humming along now without me having to alter conditions too much thanks to the lovely local spring weather, The flowering sites have popped up in abundance and the simple LST I was experimenting with, Has certainly given the plant a nice even canopy! Should start seeing some real nice progress happen over the next week or two 🤙 🍃 Happy Growing 🍃

This girl is beautiful, and she is starting to show some flowers. Her shape is perfect. She will get some bloom nutes tomorrow. I had some bugs munching on the plants so I gave them a good spraying with Neem oil and Potassium soap. I´ll give them another shortly.

Week 8 Looking absolutely huge😂 They’re so tall and wide . Lots of healthy green leaves and strong roots. I was worrying a lot about sex issues as when I did my research I found out they’re quite common to hermaphrodite. Was really worrying but all calyx’s have female signs (so far🙏🏻) so pray for me brothers&sisters.

Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. start of week 6. (day 36). i am not sure how far my plant is in flower right now. she looks like week 4 now but shes in flower since march 12 (today is may 4th) i noticed she kept growing the first weeks of 12/12 but here she is now, huge and bushy but looks like a week 4 or 5 of flower here... gues ill have to flower her at least another 3 weeks from now. as u see in the video, the smallest plant doesnt have too much yield, thats because i cut of so many undergrowth (stems and leaves) during the third week of flower) this plant was already in a very bad shape before flower. how she looks now is unbelievable compare here here and watch the pics of week 5 vegetation. i flushed the system this morning untill this evening ( in the 12h dark period they run straight rainwater) and when the lights turned back on tonnight i added the nutrients at 820ppm (0.5 convertion) i hope she will now get more explosive as i had 250 grams dried but last time i grew this on soil (2 plants, this diary is on here too “critical”) these were grown under the same light in soil, finished quicker and had more yield (as of now) anyway lets see what happens the next weeks. may 8 (day 39) defoliation, not too much just big fanleaves from the top of the cannopy and underneath the net, more light reaches budsites now
