Well here we are at the harvest. I was going to run her another week or maybe two, but when four of her colas fell over and snapped I figure now would be a good time to harvest. Overall this has been a really easy and straightforward grow.

At the end of the day, she's overall healthy and strong Day 42 Time to feed the babies, so we added 900PPM (300ml) floranova grow Followed by 1590ppm (300ml) flora nova bloom to make sure she's got all nutrients balanced well, also added 400ml of plain water after that so they could get a nice run off. I think they're happy and we gonna check on them in a couple days to see how they go, Ph is around 6.2 which is great Temp outdoors from 7-@ 1pm around 25C to 36C Then back indoors Temp is 28C and drop to 22 at night and dawn so they're good and comfortable Keeping humidity lvls around 40/65% top Nice AC and Fan for air circulation Thank you all for your support

Day 84 The Durban plants are actively growing foliage and reaching for the light, despite being bent. Every day after the lights go out, I bend their tops parallel to the floor (training). Sometimes the stems break slightly, but they are still flexible enough to recover. In 2-3 weeks, I plan to transplant them to a permanent location, where there will be 20-30 cm of space above the tops for ventilation. In the next cycle, I think four weeks of vegetation will be enough for ripening. At Gordem Delicatesies (GD), Brazilians have stretched in 20 weeks, sometimes faster. For me, this variety develops more slowly; I'm not chasing maximum speed. Meanwhile, the Jack Herer is ripening in the box above them. I'm waiting for a manicure table (thanks to Mila for the tip!). As soon as it arrives, I'll start harvesting. I'm glad that with this device I can meet the deadlines precisely.

Some of the buds/ leafs were starting to turn brown. It seems like it was a bit past it's prime, I harvested on day 60 of flower. The strain was 56-63 days Jack Herer by pHenos Nursery. The trichoms looked ready, I did have some issues that I've noted in previous weeks but it smells amazing and I can't wait for it to finish drying and curing!

Finally harvest time arrived 🤗 It’s been a great run, though I had to improve a lot along the way. But as usual there was a way to get things done and finished up😎 After a long heatwave I decided to chop the whole tent, just a bit before I actually wanted to. But I see amber trichomes and heavy buds, so I think it’s safe to chop now, so here we go. 🤩 Can’t wait to taste this after so long watching over it🤤 More details to come.

Week 5, its march 8 and still growing in the cold 😃 lets go guys

This is probably going to be very haphazard and added to only as new progress is made. working on some selfing, crossing and other misc. breeding projects of various strains. This "week" I am showing the reversal plants in their early stages of pollen sac development. I have reversed plants successfully in the past but really wanted to try a full dedicated project rather than just pollen chucking. The first wave of plants are all pollen donors. Clones and sprouts of the mothers to receive the pollen are in my veg tent waiting to be flipped. Once these mature they will be moved to a separate tent and pollen harvested to be added to the flowering girls. So far all plants have taken to the reversal. I am using STS spray I made myself. I started spraying them one week before flipping to flower and then every 3-5 days until I saw sacs forming. That seems to be the sweet spot for me. YMMV

I prepared a total of three pots, as usual. And this time I used AirPots, which proved to be the best option. I've been using them since the beginning. I used the soil from BioBizz Light-Mix. Pot #1 - I first put Easy Boost Organic nutrition in the form of pellets into the ground, then I added SeaWeed and Mycorrhiz in the recommended doses and mixed everything well. Pot #2 - I also put in Easy Bosst Organic nutrition, Seaweed and Trichoderma. Also in doses according to instructions. Pot #3 - Along with Easy Boost Organic nutrition, I put Bat Guano and Trichoderma. After I prepared the soil, I soaked all the pots well with water and made small holes in which I placed the seeds. I then placed the pots in the Grow Box where the temperature was around 28 degrees and the humidity was around 55%. 05/08/2023 I sprinkled a little water on the surface of the soil. Not too much. 06/08/2023 All three plants sprouted. 07/08/2023 I watered the plants with a little water. Approximately 0.5 liters per each plant. 10/08/2023 Watering. Each 0.5 liters of water. 8/19 (Day 63) - Pretty normal/typical today. Have just been monitoring since the defoliation a few days ago. Environment has been stable, stay around 78/79 degrees during the day and around 73 at night. Humidity fluctuates between 55-60 RH. PH stays 5.8/5.9. I did accidentally feed a bit much and have been watering with just RO water and they have been drinking fine, a few deficiencies and I also lowered my light power by 10%. I may end up changing the res and water tomorrow just because I did mix my nutrients a little hot by accident and took me a few days to notice. Everything is looking pretty good thus far and we are getting closer to finishing! Pretty pleased with my first grow but excited for the second because I have more knowledge and have a few things that im going to correct and do differently. Will be updating throughout the week. Thanks for looking. 8/20 (Day 64) - Decided to just ride out and keep topping the res with RO water, Calmag, and Rootdrip. I think I added too much Calmag last week trying to correct the calcium deficiency I was seeing. Girls are drinking just fine and not showing any real issues. Everything is stays in check. Tomorrow is water and nute change. 8/21 (Day 65)- Woke up early and got the everything pumped out and fresh water and nutrients back in. Definitely over did it on the calmag last week by mistake but doesn't look like any real harm done. Roots and plants are looking good and getting big! All the plants seem at slightly different stages in flower though, not sure if its something ive done or just differences in plants genetically. All conditions are in check and gonna continue to watch them hopefully keep fattening up! As always, tips and recommendations always appreciated!

The yield this run was just amazing, the VIPARSPECTRA XS-2000 performed very well, they run so cool, it's just crazy, you can set the lights about 10 inches from your plants at 70% without fear of burning them, sweet seed cream mandarin auto al, always yields very well, this harvest was even better, largest amount from any Auto Flowers yet, I know that you folks that grow DWC can push it a bit better but when grown in the soil the terpenes and flavors seem to be a click better in my opinion. If you have not tried these seeds you just have to, you will not be disappointed!

Cropped on Sunday evening as scheduled, a few days before complete ripening. I'm not worried about that as this shit plant has the hardest and frostiest buds I've ever seen. The complete pre-harvest defoliation made me understand a few things, stem rot. What I believed was a lack of nutrients instead was some rot at the base of the stem which I did not recognize because this plant was too leafy. This is probably the reason for the buds rot spots, considering that the weather was still dry until now. The loss is few grams so far. The plant has a fantastic skunky and fruity smell and is very easy to manicure.The buds are so resinous that seems to have slime in my hands. See you soon for the report of the harvest. I've decided to do a wet trim and manicure to check out for eventual hidden rot spots, this has required 3 days of work and a lot of spliffs and simply I forgot to weight wet plant. Estimated wet weight is 1,5/2 kilos.
