This is it, the time is here to chop the plants. It looks like two of them could go a bit more, like a week or two, but if I do that then the other ones that are complete around 3-4 of them will be over ripe and they are already fox tailing a bit and not a huge fan of that. I have seen some clear winners in the tent for the self judged mini contest I have going on. Its going to take some time to judge them fully as I'll want a min 1month cure on some of thees strains. Found some weird growth inside the boom+ product on the last feed, dumped it out and then when removing the label for recycling it noticed there was a weird [A] under the label, I don't know what this means, the product was fine when I opened it so this was a my problem but the [A] is a mystery. The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all. CANADA DAY UPDATE🇨🇦 THE TRAGICALLY HIP🤘🥁🎸🇨🇦 MY SAYING NOW IS: THE ONLY WAY TO GROW IS WITH THE HYDRO🤘 AND REACH FOR THE STARS WITH MARS🤘🤣. So it's been almost a week under the new MARS HYDRO FC4800 and the girls are loving it.. leaves were straight up like they were at a rock concert just blowing in the wind waving their arms like they are in the moshpit🤣🤣 looked so sweet👍. after a day they have stretched so much I had to raise the light already to keep it at 14 inches above the canopy. Plants grow so uniform under these lights, canopy is always nice and even👍. it has a whiter light than the mars tsw2000. Being side by side in my 8x8 tent, I can really see the difference in the color of light. The FC4800 is more of a white light like natural light. I think it might be the blue uv Diodes they added to the fc series lights. I'm amazed at how good this light is already. Barely any heat comes off it. I can rest my hand on it when the dimmer is at 100% and it's just warm. I have it daisy chained to my TSW2000 and it works awesome👍 and I dont have to reach for the other dimmer to do both. One dimmer controls both lights. When I add more lights I will daisy chain them too and control 4 lights from 1 dimmer👍. I still love my tsw2000. It's been going almost non stop since I got it and no issues at all. I take a picture of the Diodes to see if any have burnt out or anything, everything is fine.  same thing with the heat it gives off is just like the FC4800. I can rest my hand on it without burning me👍. Having both lights on 100% because I in flower now, only raises my temperature about 3°celcius. Make sure you got some calmag and if you use reverse osmosis water (bottled water) or filtered water you will want extra calmag because it's filtered out of it👍. These lights are perfect for every stage of growth for germination to flower. Just use the dimmers to reduce the intensity of the lights for whatever stage you are in. Plus they are easy to raise and lower them with the ratchet straps. MARS HYDRO'S recommended height for different stages is pretty accurate but different strains like different Temps and light sensitivity so that's something to look into, a more Mediterranean strain can take more heat and intense lighting. and you can just follow their recommendations for the height for each stage. I slowly turn it up in the later veg cycle until I'm at 75% about a week before I switch to 12/12 and after about 4 or 5 days into flower I'm at 100% with no heat or light stress👍. Mars hydro is awesome for their pricing for what you get👍. They should cost alot more than other brands but shhhhh don't tell them🤣🤣🤣🤣. Just kidding. they want to stay competitive with every brand but there stuff is always cheaper than SF and vipar etc. They know once you use mars hydro products you won't switch to another brand. Why pay more money for something that isn't as good. I've seen lights cheaper than mars but they are cheaper for a reason. They are built cheaper. My TSW2000 is fairly heavy too. But when it comes to getting lights you want some weight to it so you know it's built strong and sturdy and will last a long time.. I called customer service a few times and they will help you out with any questions you may have about the products and they are very well educated in their products👍 very helpful and very friendly. They are awesome 🤜🤛. I can't say enough about this grow tent too. The thing is a beast. I could use the canvas tent to make a trampoline and i doubt it would break its that thick👍 I've had some cheaper tents made of 600d canvas and they aren't that bad. But when you get a tent made from 1680D canvas material it's insane how strong and heavy it is. Before I put the tent together when I lifted the canvas to start wrapping the frame I said to myself.. LORD TUNDERIN JESUS this has some nice weight to it. It was the easiest tent to put together that I've ever had. I went inside with the lights off and got someone to turn it on after a minute or two to look for light leaks and there was none👍. It even blocks out some noise, so if your fans or filters are loud, once it is zipped up it gets quieter. this tent is awesome with So many ports and vents for whatever you need to hook up to it. It has frame bars down the middle and one vertical pole in the middle to keep it sturdy but the poles are made nice and so thick that they probably didn't even need a vertical bar in the middle. It has 2 separate 4x8 floor trays that divide it into 2 4x8 tents. All you need is a mylar divider to easily divide it in half. I love the stickers it comes with. It's nothing big to some people but I know there is lots of people that like them because you see them everywhere in people's tents and in pictures. I love them they are super cool stickers👍. It really locks in the light and temperature and humidity good. Lots of room for all the equipment I have to go in it and will get to put in it. Be good to bring camping too🤣🤣🤣🤜🤛. Sono un po’ in ritardo ma posso già commentare questi boccioli di Gorilla Cookies FF perché sono già stati trimmati e puliti per essere curati in barattoli di vetro. Non ho avuto particolari problemi nel crescere queste ragazze, l’unica cosa che purtroppo non ho potuto mantenere sotto controllo era la temperatura che nelle ultime settimane era arrivata quasi a 30ºC :-/ e questo non è stato di aiuto alle piante a cui ovviamente non piace stare sotto queste temperature di continuo…nonostante questo e alla poca compattezza dei fiori sono super contento del gusto e dell’odore che ricordano tanto i terpeni della Calypso Sun Rock di Anesia Seeds, sarà che ho trovato un fenotipo che condivideva gli stessi geni con cui sono imparentate entrambe! Inoltre è stata la prima volta che ho avuto il piacere di utilizzare il super soil di Dogma Organics che sicuramente ha esaltato al massimo le particolarità della pianta e confermo che la differenza si sente, le piante crescono a meraviglia con struttura solida e zero carenze di nessun tipo se si usa con giuste quantità e tempi sia il top dress che le giuste quantità di acqua che dovrebbe sempre essere la cosa più importante dove bisogna imparare a capire i bisogni in base allo stadio di crescita…in più ho condiviso alcune foto del mio giardino di quest’anno :)) Fast Buds super consigliato genetiche ottime e selezioni veramente interessanti

Flushed 9 days ppm back to normal drinking water. Trichomes very cloudy 10 % Amber. Week of drying then will give yield #. Maybe 100g fingers crossed last same strain b4 this one produced 125grams of dryed good nug.

07.07.2025 Flowering day 9 and rooting day 9. Both, flowers and roots show up now.

In week 9 my 'Fruity Terp' ladies have grown substantially and filled out the space in my HOMEBOX growtent. Therefore its time to do a round of defoliation. I take out my plants one by one and cut off the lowest branches on the stem (the ones not grown tall enough to get good light) and also the biggest fan-leaves (the ones shading the lower part of the canopy). The defoliation will increase the airflow thru my plants, which will in turn help to avoid mold from a build-up of humidity between the leaves. The light can now also penetrate deeper into the canopy now and therefore lower buds will also get more light and can grow bigger. The SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are doing a GREAT job, my babies love their spectrum and intensity and grow like hell. The nutrients from BIO NOVA work EXCELLENT, all plants have a nice healthy green color. Since we are further in flowering now, I also add PK 13-14 from BIO NOVA following their 'SOIL-CULTIVATION' schedule.

Led on 75% things seem to by flying at the moment I have taken off 1 leaf and tied her down with a peg looking a little bit stressed hoping she bounces back

She is growing great no issues that I can say except I should have thrown her into a bigger pot..She loves being trained and has been bent over without any topping really and the bud sites are filling up nicely .. I have been giving her nutrients and she has loved them a 100% organic blend . The videos show before the hard bending and trimming was done but she will look great next week ..Getting a new tent soon and will be vegging the girl for a few more weeks till the 12/12 flip ...cheers family

Another week closer.... So glad we are almost to the end, the heat out lately has been a killer, added another fan to the room it helped a little .... The girls are drinking alot ..they are at the point were the ppms dont drop but raise as the water goes down.. do to not taking up nutrients as they were when growing earlier, so in turn the last few weeks I start to drop in ppms ...I never have noticed a difference by keeping them high all the way to the end I like to drop the last few weeks ....if they are not using it why feed them it...... everything else is going great Until next week, smoke a fatty , help out your fellow grower.
