Aug 30: it’s still hot (too hot at peak for photosynthesis) so lots of water, watering outside of growbag, etc to cool things off a bit. Sep 1: almost ready. Found a dried leaf and a spot of bud rot which was immediately removed. Main tops are almost ready and I’ll start harvesting this one later this week. Sep 2: buds are looking pretty ready (at least the tops) and the pistils changed colour last night. Heatwave is now past and now we’re into a couple days of smoke from fires in the NWT. Sucks, but at least this is the first serious smoke here this year. Sep 4: decided to do a chemical flush this year. Great buds last year but didn’t burn well because of excess P in late flowering. Considered another flush product but looking at the MSDS sheets that stuff had ‘editic acid’ which is an obscure but acceptable name for EDTA. That is a very strong chelating agent which will remove salts effectively but I’d rather avoid it. In contrast, Final Flush from Grotek has potassium sorbate (generally recognized as safe food additive) and good old citric acid which is a chelating agent but not as strong as EDTA. Similar products but citric acid is more gentle and the plant still gets some potassium. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a far red light.

Week 8 there hasn’t been any drastic changes for either of the girls. Girl #1 is looking better and better each day. Girl #2 is just being as stubborn as can be. Girl #2 still hasn’t showed any signs of flowering. I’m gonna continue to be patient with her she’s a very late bloomer. I can’t believe she’s been in veg for 8 weeks.I know some of you expert growers have experienced a long veg similar to my experience.Not sure if it’s good or bad luck just yet being my first run of autos. I have to admit. When i saw this week coming to The end and girl #2 wasn’t showing signs of flowering, I got down face to face with her quietly whispering (You better flower soon or it’s time for the trash can 😂😂) lol 😆 I had a weak moment was very frustrated. I thank all of you that have shared your information cause without it I would have been panicking. I’m gonna be patient and let the plant tell me when she’s ready. Everything has been running smoothly. I have given both girls light bloom nutrients. I have learned so much and it has been a pleasure watching the magic happen. Se empieza a percibir ya, diferentes aromas entre ellas. En esta fase, la solución de riego, llevaba la máxima dosis del fertilizante base. WEEK 1 - All 3 seeds have been treated with root down again. The leaves are green and the healthy. Watching when the nutrients run out of the soil so we can start adding some manually.

Looks absolutely awesome. This is my first photoperiod and you can really tell the difference in density and overall quality. She did 35g dry. So I achieved less than 1€/g cost per gram for the frist time! The biggest factor obviously beeing the shorter light cycle compared to the autoflowers I usually run. To save cost it might be smart to give the autos 12/12 as well. I will stick to 18/6 tho. Effect: Expectations and training method: I know these genetics are a bit delicate so I’ll be taking things very easy. The breeder suggests topping and training the branches because she can grow fast and tall. By what I’ve seen from the local growers, she can produce some savory chunky buds which is what I’m aiming for. I’ll follow the breeder’s suggestion and Top/LST which is what I’ll be doing to almost all my other strains as well on this run. 04/23/2022 I think lemon OG is done Give her a few days more, Biscotti Skunk, grape skunk about 2 -3 weeks out, the Biscotti Skunk has very strong camphor mothballs smell. Not quite sure what to think of her hope buds fill out well. Grape Skunk is doing a bit better but lemon og has performed best in my specific micro climate, others have more flowering to. If I'm going 63 days in flower it might as well be a Sativa variety.

Vegetation Phase - Week 2 Shoutout to Cannapot, the Austrian plug who came through with the genetics from Humboldt Seed Company. The 10 Donutz plants are pushing through their second week of veg, and while the majority are thriving, a few challenges are starting to show — all part of the game when experimenting with new soil, pots, and nutrients. Updates & Adjustments: Lamp Adjustment: Raised the light to reduce stress and give the plants more breathing room as they stretch and develop. Watering: Keeping it relaxed and minimal with reverse osmosis (RO) water. No overwatering here — slow and steady wins the race. Nutrients: If deficiency will further ill add more fertilizer. Observations: 9/10 plants are growing steadily, with vibrant green leaves and visible progress in height and structure. 1 runt: One plant is struggling hard — stunted growth, ugly leaves, and generally looking like it’s fighting for its life. Still, it’s got a spot in the tent, and we’ll see if it can bounce back. Some minor issues spotted on a few plants, likely nutrient deficiencies as they adjust to the new setup. It’s not surprising, given the new gear and methods, but nothing alarming yet. Next Steps: Staying the course with low-stress management. Let the plants adjust to their environment and dial in any issues over time. The Donutz are strong genetics, so they’ll likely power through. Even the sickly one gets a chance — no plant left behind! This sea is still on track to make waves.

Looks all good. The Fruit Spirit is growing big time. Unfortunately the Legendary OG is very slow, I believe it’s because i plant it in a very big pot and is getting focused on the roots for now. It does look healthy anyways. The Blue cheese automatic is growing really quick. Unfortunately in week 3 the Legendary OG has died. I found out that i was giving nutrients to early so I kinda burnt it. Feeling sad about it. I’m doing another seed now. Northern Light Automatic. This week I added chamomile flowers to the soil. I baked in the oven egg shells which I added to the soil as a natural Calcium.

Day 36 preflower stage, should see buds forming within the next several days or so. WE ARE AT WAR!!!! Applied a pouch of nematodes to every pot to kill the fungus gnat at its larval stage. Which has been gnawing on my roots! Increased the sticky traps to trap the flying f*<|{£rs. Will reapply more nematodes in 10 days to kill the next generation. Then hopefully that’ll be all! Don’t overwater folks. Fungus gnats suck! Hopefully last hiccup of the grow. Cheers everyone. Good luck on your grows. Day 41 and I’d say we’re officially in flower. Seein those hairs real good now. We’re still experiencing a rather annoying fungus gnat infestation which has really stunted these ladies. This is entirely my own doing by more than likely overwatering them, creating the problem. Sighs… lower stems grew considerably, which has me optimistic as to the potential yield. I won’t know till stretch is over to gauge my yield. Hopefully Fastbuds amazing genetics can help me fix my f up. 🤞 Day 45 and were on our second round of treatment with nematode packs. I have moved the grow lights up substantially as to hopefully help with the discoloration of my leaves. I believe it to be light stress from the lightening around the edges and some brown tips. Some of them are curled upwards so thst could also be nutrient burn. I have asked a question about it to hopefully get the help of someone more experienced than iam. Good luck growing my friends🍻 Day 48 I ripped open my nematodes packs and mixed in the first couple inches. The top few inches of soil are now aerated better. Hopefully things will improve. Seem to look better since I moved the light up. Stretch ladies… stretch watering at 6.0 to hopefully lower the ph of my girls. I could do the viniger method? Or sulfur. hi everyone , the finaly start to flower properly :) still a lot slower than indoors but they´ll get there xD ... it definitively smells nice now 😍 hope the weather will stay as dry as possible for the next two month 😅 but probably it wont 😁 we will see how they´ll do happy growing and till next week 😇

Day 29. I adjust the LST to form the canopy. pH at 5.8 Day 30. It's not necessary to adjust anything, just a little the main stem. pH at 5.7. Growing well :D Day 32. I change the water in the tank, I go from the vegetative table to the flowering stage, keeping the same Ec pH to 5.9. I make some small adjustments to the LST and remove a few fan leaves. Day 35. Growth is pretty good. The pH drops about 0.5 by day, the plant drinks about 1 liter a day, (I think this is due to the decrease in pH). First defoliation. In general, the week has been good. Now I have to deal with the daily pH drops I think caused by the water intake of the plant. Possibly one more week of stretching remains, Auto Mandarina is 70% sativa 30% indica, so an Indica dominance would be better for my set up.

Tomorrow is the official first week since flip. They are stretching and greening up nicely!! Noticed a little light burn on some tips when I dropped to 18". Gonna see how it progresses. Nutrient wise they are jammin. No issues here. The only problem might be I get overgrown haha! Farmer problems 🤣 Day 12 of flowering. They continue to improve. I believe they are now dug into their new soil and I should have very little trouble keeping them fed. They are really pushing the stretch, especially the BMX!!! It caught up to the sherbs in the last couple days and the bud site structure is TIGHT!!!! The BMX is about to show me what she can do. That Sherbs though, I am so excited about her. Watered all today and they were THIRSTY! took 1 and 1/2 gallons of water to saturate the 7 gallon pots. SCROG LIFE!!! lol
