Really strong, hazy smell, almost like silver haze. reminds you of the old times

Feeling like I started her flush too early. So I gave her some food. Not much change but she is fatter and some of her leaves are fading or turning purple. Looks like a 3 monther.

Week 5 of flower update and this was not a good week at all. The light burn got progressively worse over a 4 day stretch that I was away and couldn’t address it earlier. Torched a few tops pretty good. Likely salvageable but it wont be a pretty finish. The only good news about this is that my 2 100% keeper plants were either unaffected or only minorly. Went full beast mode and ripped apart the whole system just to cut 2” off the legs, clean, prune and then reinstall everything. We’re also gonna swap the cob light with an xs2000 and sf1000 combo. Same power but room for clearance error. If we’re lucky - we still get to the finish with some quality smoke and an initial sampling of this new F1. Jesus - my issues never seem to end these days….

The cannabis plant is generally growing well and is progressing as expected during the flowering stage. Despite the positive overall growth, brown spots have appeared on some of the leaves and I dont really know what it is. While the appearance of brown spots is concerning, the overall health of the cannabis plant remains good. With careful monitoring and appropriate adjustments, the plant should continue to develop successfully. It will be exciting to see how the plant progresses as it matures, even if its growth rate is somewhat slower than expected.

Day 63 Today marks day 63 of flowering and the plants are really showing their final form. The buds have packed on a lot of weight over the past week, and the colas are looking dense, swollen and sticky to the touch. The pistils have mostly changed color now, with a good portion curling in and turning orange and amber, which gives the flowers that mature, finished look. When I check the trichomes under the loupe I can see that the majority are cloudy, with just a few still clear and the first signs of amber starting to show. This is a good sign that the harvest window is opening soon, though I’ll probably let them go a few more days to really finish and develop that extra potency and flavor. The smell is very intense at this point. Every time I open the tent I’m hit with a strong wave of aroma that’s a mix of sweet, earthy and slightly fruity notes, depending on which plant I’m leaning into. It’s sticky enough now that just brushing against a bud leaves resin on my fingers. The leaves are starting to fade naturally as the plant finishes up, showing yellows and some purples, which also makes the buds stand out even more. I’ve stopped feeding nutrients and have been giving only plain, pH-balanced water to let the medium flush out. Runoff is looking clean and the plants seem to be using up the last of their stored energy. Temperatures and humidity are steady, and the airflow in the tent is keeping everything fresh with no signs of mold or rot, which is always something I watch carefully this late in flower. Overall the garden looks amazing and I feel like I’m right on track for harvest. The next week will be about patience and daily trichome checks until I see the balance of cloudy and amber that I’m aiming for. It feels like the long wait is finally paying off, and the excitement is building to finally chop, dry, and cure these beautiful buds

Week 10 done, this girl is stinking up the tent and my room lol she smells amazing, trichomes are mostly cloudy still some clears still no ambers though, she starting to get that fade, been undoing some of her ties and maintaining the airflow so she doesn’t start to get mold all in all she’s doing amazing and should be done soon, once I see ambers I will flush her and chop her

Just starting week 5 will keep updating as I go been having a couple issues lately with some of the top fan leaves, they've been starting to get a couple brown spots on 3-4 of the fan leaves not sure what the problem is yet if anyone has any suggestions let me know. Update: Just ordered in a new ph meter from Apera I'm pretty sure my cheap $15 dollar ph meter was all sorts of messed up. UPDATE: ec going in .7 runoff ec .86, ph going in 5.7 runoff ph 6.6 I'll see if the ph goes down now that I have the new ph meter my old one was definitely off. UPDATE: Got the EC down to .4 gonna start slowly introducing nutrients back in, also got the medium pH down to 6.1 from 6.6. Finishing up week 5 think I've gotten things under control now just need to get my EC back up now showing a couple signs up deficiencies on some leaves but nothing too bad, I'm thinking Week 6 will start flower. Did a Flush this Week now looking back on it I shouldn't have done that that caused my plant to go into a deficiency, what I should've done was not flush with half strength nutes I should've used normal strength nutes but just lower the ph more that was the real problem.

6th week of flowing: Not a lot to add the ladies are growing well buds are getting bigger by the week and nicely covered in trichomes. Barely touching/moving a plants spreads a lovely aroma to the air.

Hey fellow growers week 13 update of my sole survivor critical purple #1. This plant is now in week 8 of flower and will be removed any day now!!! She's only been Watered once this week with a ph of 6.3. So close to starting next grow so stay tuned!!! I also updated my pineapple auto harvest weights to include both plants. Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. This week I let the plant grow freely with no training or cuts applied. I’m waiting for the branches to reach 5 nodes before doing the next topping at the 3rd node, so for now the focus is just on healthy growth and recovery. The plant is slowly recovering from the deficiency. The new growth is improving, but the older affected leaves won’t recover as they’re already too damaged. For now, I’m just letting her grow and stabilize 💪🌿

9/7/24 this is a clone from my outdoor jokerz plant. she's had to reveg but is currently showing new growth. i wanted to see what she looks like when grown indoor. i wanted the outdoor ones to be indoor plants[ i mostly run indoor] but they got too big for my space but i didnt want to consider it a complete loss and took some clones. 9/12 her growth is improving. i didnt realize that this was considered monster cropping. Underneath the main she has atleast 4 side branches coming out thats new growth. im curious to see how this affects plant growth, plant training and over all plant FYI the pictures and test results that i posted are from the nurseries website that the clones/cultivars i have are from. i have no affiliation with them. im a rec grower in a rec
