Hello Diary, It's the end of the first week of vegetation on my little farm. I'm a little late in updating the diary, but I'll try to change that in the future. After the plants got 4 leaves, including Purple Lemonade, the vegetation phase officially begins. For Purple Lemonade, it's 9 days since I planted the seed in the ground, or 5 days since the plant sprouted. As you can see from the photos, Purple Lemonade has been making great progress since day one. You can see a drastic difference every day, I put photos on the 1st day of vegetation and the 7th day of vegetation and the difference is obvious in those seven days. Purple Lemonade - Day 1. - 3 cm Purple Lemonade - Day 7. - 6 cm Conditions on the farm are not ideal. The summer heat is still unbearable, affecting the temperature in the apartment. When I add Migro Aray 4 to that, the temperature sometimes reaches 32 degrees. I don't see for now that it has a bad effect on the plants, but I would like it if the temperature were lower. The lights are now set at 35 cm from the plants and are dimmed at 40% of their power. Watering is every three days. I prepare about 4 liters of water, add 1 ml/L Calcium and Magnesium supplement and this week I started adding Bio Grow Fertilizer, a new product from RQS. After all, I lower the pH to 6.0. and with that amount I water all three plants on the farm. Here's a quick recap of the week. 25/07/2024 - Day 1. The official start of the vegetation. After photographing the plants, I watered them. I still put the seed booster in there, also a new product from the RQS organic fertilizer collection. 28/07/2024 - Day 4. Watering. I prepared 4 liters of water again, added Calcium and magnesium supplement, Bio Grow Fertilizer and finally lowered the pH. with Lemon Kick. 31/07/2024 - Day 7. End of the first week of vegetation. Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and red tinted sunlight both of which help with flowering. One problem with growing dope here is the UV light is weak this far North in the fall so for most people it’s better to just do autos outdoors and timing it so they ripen during the stronger summer sun and you’re done by the end of August. But if you want reliable big yields these fast flowering photoperiods are definitely the best choice. Sep 23: seems a bit off colour so I added some Alaska Fish Fertilizer for N. Always warming the water to about 26C these days to help keep the plant and soil bacteria warm and happy. Sep 25: this plant and Bruce both got blown over twice today. This is because the small 5 gallon bags aren’t big and heavy enough. The plants are fine. Oh well, the advantage is that I can move them around easily to maximize direct sun. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you’re going to immediately use a 730 nm far red light to put the plants into dark mode. It’s a great trick as a bloom booster and moves up finishing time here by a couple or three weeks. Sep 27: harvest will be tomorrow because of some bad weather moving in. Tomorrow will be okay but then rain and cold overnight and even snow forecast for late next week. C’est La vie.

Barneys Farm Seeds Red Diesel revegged Clone Grow 6 weeks of Flowering Completed 24th March 2020 Well another week has passed by and I find myself stuck at home under self isolation 😟 Not because I am sick but simply to do my part in limiting the spread of the virus. This plant continues to grow nicely albeit she has several seeded buds that I can see. She still smells and feels like she is developing resin so I'm not that worried about poor quality buds. Depending on the weather I aim to harvest her in about 2 weeks time. The seeds that are developing should be mature by then but i will definately sample a few to be certain. Feeds she had for this week were aprox 15 Litres of a mix containing Monstabud @10mls/L & Seaweed solution @1ml/L The sun is back here for the next few days so I hope she makes the most of it 😎 That is all for this week Thankyou for stopping by and taking the time to read my update 👍 Stay well ✊

Continued feeding with the tomato fertilizer, but I probably overdid it. We'll see. Later in the week I bought some new Canna Terra Flores. Temperatures outside are rising, which will soon become a problem. I turned up the light from 40% to 60% regardless. Removed a bunch of the lower leaves and did some light lollipopping.

10/25 23 days from sprout. All are looking great. Going to wait another week before I start feeding. 10/26 Watered. Probably going to trim some fan leaves before the next watering. 10/27 Few are starting to flower. Switched from MH bulb to HPS. 10/29 Watered. Not the prettiest girl in the show, but where she lacks in beauty she picks up in straight gassy fumees. Very nice trichome coverage. She reeks. Although they both absolutely stank I feel like I smell this deep rotten fuel over the other. Would definently consider running again to cross it to something more pretty or maybe to see if I can get any other purple phenos from it!

Now we are in week 8. Plants stopped growing. I will let them grow two more weeks and then I will at least harvest two of them. Depending on the trichomes I will keep the other two for 4-5 weeks more, because I will be away ... traveling lets hope that the sun is coming out again and that the buds get bigger and bigger in the last two weeks. BTW I stopped giving any type of nutrients, just water.

Hi all. Welcome to this run withbthe Viparspectra XS1500 which i was kindly sent to try by their helpful rep Valerie. As I have a fairly good space to use for my main grow , it seemed an ideal time to explore a few options while I wait for space to appear following upcoming harvests. The opportunity hit at a good time and has now driven the future play time. lol The light is a full spectrum 150W( at the socket) , Dimmable and very well made unit. As summer is here now , my concerns of more heat being an issue have stopped me from adding my other light so the smaller 2ftx2ft area covered by the XS1500 is a good option , The heatsink is built into the case design with a finned top to dissipate the heat so no noisy fans. Switching it on to full power was a nice surprise as the footprint was way wider than I had expected and the actual coverage is even better for my Nursery to harvest plan.... I am growing autos perpetually at present and have been able to throughput the plants with just 2 lights and using the overlaps at the edges to bring seedlings along to veg/flowering, as harvesting is finishing. The timing had been working well but the plants were getting smaller towards the last runs . I gave it some thought and Rh % came to mind. With the perpetual runs not having a higher rh in their veg periods due to other plants needing a lower Rh% in flower , the vapour pressure deficit (vpd) was not within veg periods healthier range. This current run has exploded and filled my normal space very quickly which in turn means I cannot use the same principle as the last perpetual run of bringing the next ones along ready for the exchanges. The XS1500 takes care of this issue with it being perfect for an initial nursery light that is easily covering all the new seedlings but is also able to cover my experimental "5 plant 1 Pot" attempt. I have placed 5 of my own autob seeds from a previous seeding in a single 60 L pot and intend to strip them to their 4th nodes and only allow 2 mains per plant to develop and flower. Inam hoping to have 10 mains growing in it that will be under the xs1500 solely as the other plants outgrow the lights footprint and space they are in. They will go into the main grow space once able so i can really see how well this new light can flower with the 10 mains to fill the space. Until that point , I will diary as we go and see what we can achieve.

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

I have watered once with the aerated mixture of compost tea pk booster 15gr and 5 ml of orgatrex 👏🏻💪😋 👏🏻💪😋 the rest of days with water alone 💦💦 temperature 27º C ☀️ humidity 65% 💧and music 🎼 😉👍

Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.
