Very pleased with my results! 🔥💪 trichs started turning amber sooner than anticipated, so i went ahead and gave her the chop. Very smelly and lots of trichomes. Didn't weigh or sample anything yet, ill be back with a weight update after drying ✌️ -update- final dry weight is 89g, and have it jarred up now with boveda 62% packs. Also got about 30g of sugar trim/larf ill use for butter. It may have gotten a bit too dry but i hear the humidity packs will help. Vaped a bowl to test and it was very sweet and floral tasting, and seemed pretty strong from the small tester out of a dynavap. Overall very happy with the outcome and with this strain. They were in bad shape after the nutrient lockout. Lets see how they turn out.

An accident happened with the most beautiful large one while putting the main top inside was broken off. I have also had a lot to do with leaf miners. That's why there are some leaves off... This one is still slow so far, but I don't think that's crazy if it also has to recover from removing the leaves. The weather is also on the cold side. Wish me success. for a few more weeks. I be very kind for these ladies😁

After drying, the hydro plant's bud smelled a little different. Considering the small amount and the bud rod that was cut away previously, I didn't want to risk anything and threw it away. So the harvest is just about the soil plant. I dried the whole plant except larger fan leaves. As this was an outdoor-ish grew I don't have any specialised equipment. It just had to dry in the room, which averaged 24°C and 60% humidity, probably not ideal. After 10 days it was trimmed and finally weighed. Might still be a little wet though. Final dry weight was 42g, after weighing in wet and untrimmed at 294g.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Time to cut down an hang to dry after a nice 3 days in the dark

This plant was grown with Nature's Living Soil Autoflower used as a hot mix. Once in flower week 5 I top dressed with a little more NLS and then week 7 I added earthworm casting and phosphorus bat guano. So looking back this plant was small and with tight nodes in the grow phase but once the flowering phase started she stretched out nicely and made a turn around for better. After drying the buds are sticky and littered with trichomes. She came out pretty decent but I think I could do better.

AvT oh my she just stinks and I'm not sure is a pleasant smell. She is 22 inches tall and just as wide, filling her space nicely. Defoleated her. She is bottom heavy, branches are low and wide. Hung second light so things should be happening. Increased newts to 680 ppm. All things considered this plant is doing great, and really has a strong smell.

Jan 23rd 2018 so makes it day 57 from seed. On transition nutes right now and will go into bloom nutes next week. She's growing real fast and with a short flowering time, she will be harvested by March 5th

Runtz layer cake was a blast to grow. I really enjoy Runtz flavor and taste. The girl was big and wide. We love that always.no mold and no bug damage. She also had to problem with the cold.

Buds are absolutely coated in trichomes, looks like they’ve been rolled in sand lol 🤩

The plant was harvested on the 73rd day. It was hung not as a whole plant but by separate bud sites. Bud sites had the larger fan leaves removed before the drying process. Temps for the drying were 62F 55%RH for 10 days. She then had a quick cleaning of sugar leaves and jarred for cure. Final report will be coming shortly.😍 Final report: (Smoke report not loading comments) After months cured in a jar I rolled up a joint and smoked it. It had a nice smooth smoke with the flavor of vanilla cake/cookie . She also had a hint of citrus. After the harvest was done I prepped the area for next year's outdoor grow. I will continue to prep the area for the next few months by adding goodies to the area to bring in the worms.😍

#1 still not flowering it’s been almost 3 weeks since the flip to 13/11. #3 is loaded with buds!! #4 is also loaded. #3 and #4 aren’t stretching a ton, and I love that they seem to be putting all of their energy into making buds. I’ve defoliated some to keep the budsites in the light.
