Day 8 : Still watering a small amount everyday, before lights turn off. No nutrients, only my lentils juice, to help roots production. She show no deformation, leaves have a perfect shape. I had a little pH dip the other day and the leaves showed some magnesium deficiency. I am not super worried. These leaves are far from final ones. She has grown pretty well beside that pH issue. It should be solved now. I was feeding a little strong. I still kinda am. She is doing good under the G300W Spider Farmer light. I have it like 25 percent right now everything looks good now. Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. This time we are faced with an absolute novelty from Zamnesia, a plant from the latest generation of an immense series that Zamnesia is bringing out, ready to try them all. Here we have excellent parents, the primette result is great, let's also try the Karen Kush. I was amazed by the perfect branding for this strain and so let it be Karen. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Now week that i remove all lst tides and i say that there are plant inteligence, they star grow up when come another plant area or close to tent wall. All are allmoust same hight and its full of (will be) tops, Last time when take rude lst i notice that they like it and now i grow them same way but more takedown and benefits are, No popcorn becouse not give space to grow minis and nutrients will flow close to feeder ro plants and minimal distance to where topcolas will be. No ciense to prove this teory but lets see endresult! I put one fan more close to plants that air will go true ladys and i defolling these week ago and its make big difrens. Its had grow 30% more top branches allmoust 4 days when Light penetrates all of them and i Drop led allmoust 30cm (thanks ewerybody that give me advaice!) And now few day and i switch 12/12. Reggeaokkey till next week. PS. Has been work at cabin so ec-meters calibration liquid is still missing.

Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are right on time for a small adjustment in lighting, PH and nutrients. 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) and the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work. Starting at a PH of around 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Cheech is taking nicely to the adjustment in light and nutrients, but CG 1 is looking a little bit too perky. Going to give her 24 hours to adjust. Day 10 - We have finally renamed CG 1. Fellow enthusiasts, meet Venezia. Day 12 - The root systems are clearly visible in the ladies today Day 13 - The ladies are looking well today. Venezia seems to be showing some light signs of heat stress with slight curling of the leaves. The lights are due to be adjusted tomorrow to account for the seedlings growth over the last week.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend. This little deformed lady is still going fairly strong, she is not growing quite as fast as the other two autos in the tent, but I think she could still put out some nice flowers. I am still feeding her silica, cal mag, and just veg nutrients. I did top her yesterday on day 34 as she is still not showing many pre flowers, so I just topped her so she doesn't get too tall. I have not done much LST on her yet but I may do some this week. I did change the Medic grow spectrum to the F1 spectrum this week which is the flower spectrum. I am also running the UV/IR bar for about 75 minutes every day before lights off, and I now have the light cranked up to 100%. I will start to transition to flower nutrients probably next week, depending on how tall she gets and how soon she transitions to flower production. Not much to do this week except keep the reservoir clean, full, and in the proper PH range. If any colas get crazy higher than the others I will correct, but other than that she can do her thing from here on out. Happy 4th everyone 🎆. I just returned from a 4 day family trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I love that place and we had a lot of fun. The girls are doing great. I filled the reservoir before I left and it's was 1/4 remaining when I returned. That's one big advantage using the auto pots. If i was manual watering, i would be able to miss watering them more than a day. The posted pictures are 7 days from the last week photos. I also took a couple videos. With this being the beginning of week 5, I increased my bloom to 12ml per gallon. It's usually 9ml. I also increased my koolbloom from 3ml to 5ml per gallon. I'll go back to 9 and 3 on week 6. 7/30/23 - Day 48 - OK, so last I posted, I have been waiting to see how tall she grows. She does not seem to be stopping her growth I'm going to try some super cropping. I've never done this before, but it honestly does not seem like a bad thing. Hurt the plant a little, and the response should be more THC. The reason for hurting the plant is so that you can bend the plant as you need it. She's sleeping now, but when she wakes up, ill take a look and possibly start to super crop. Currently, I am working on implementing the auto water feature of the LEAF Grow system, which is quite convenient to set up. All it requires is to hook it up to a standard hose outlet, saving you time and effort. By using Reverse Osmosis (RO) water instead of tap water, I can ensure a controlled and optimal environment for my plants. Tap water contains various additives like copper, zinc, and chlorine, which can't be measured precisely and might affect plant growth. In a successful grow operation, every aspect needs careful control, and water is of utmost importance. RO water, with its near-zero ppm, ensures that there are no unwanted additives, offering the best conditions for plant development. Although RO water is not produced under pressure, I've found a suitable solution to address this concern. To achieve the required pressure for the LEAF unit, which is rated for 30 - 80 PSI, I've researched and discovered that a sump pump would work perfectly in this setup. This pump adds the necessary 30 PSI to the water line as it is drawn from the inlet, eliminating the need to pressurize a bottle or container, thus avoiding potential hazards associated with excessive pressure. I'll be documenting my progress with pictures as I set up this system, and I can't wait to witness the auto water feature in action, saving me from the hassle of manually adding water. Super Crop: I did about half of the plant in a Super Crop today. Meaning I damaged the branches enough to bend them. The plant will work overtime to fix them, but also, the Resin and THC will be surging through the plant in a rush to be more defensive against what it more than likely a predator eating it. I did my best to make the branches pliable. I think I did a good job. I was so scared that I was going to snap them.... and I did; on a couple, they split up the side. So I grabbed my duct tape and added a bandaid. I have been worried sick about how she would handle all the destruction. After about 3 hrs, I saw that all the Super Cropped branches were already reaching back up. This is a great sign that the plant is doing well and that all the branches I was sure were to fall off are thriving. Again I think this box is magic. The topping didn't stunt any growth, trimming a 3-gallon bucket full of leaves 1st week into flower didn't stunt any growth, and Super Cropping 2 weeks into flowering seems to be thriving. I'm going to get to experiment with this LEAF box on all kinds of strains. The possibilities are endless. Just one theory I want to try, Purple. I want to grow a strain known for its purple, and I want to grow it a few times, each time growing it colder and colder to document and show how cold might affect the purple color like we have all read and heard about. These are the kinds of things that I think about and why I choose LEAF. Ill be back to update tomorrow morning. 8/1/23 - Day 50 - I updated some of the pictures. Flowering is going well. Every day the water is less, and the buds are bigger! I scoped out some of the buds already. Now we just wait. i have a water change coming up in a few days.
