100% germ rate, 12/12!
Solo cups have 4 holes in the bottom (Melted gently with a lighter)
3 days to germinate, then 3 more days to sprout(pop the seed off!)
The soil was pre-moistened before the seeds were planted. (lightly watered, then top half of solo cup was stirred, to promote absorption (very dry soil))
Let the hunt begin!!!
#4 was two days late to pop, but she's coming through strong!
The rest are quite consistent, with one showing mutation(#11),
#8 had trouble with the seed membrane sticking, causing minor damage.
The rest are looking fantastic!

Light Watering: quickly pour in, so that 1cm of water is above the soil. The water soaks in quickly. Dry in ~3 days.
Day 12 - light schedule changed from 24/0 to 18/6
They grow up so fast! ;')
Watered every ~3 days (when dry)
Pour in water quickly/gently so that the soil is covered by 1cm of water.
Not long now, maybe a week, then cloning!
Moms have been cloned!
On Moms:
Top above the 1st node, or 2nd, if 1sts are not looking viable.
On Clones:
Immediately place into water upon cutting.
Remove bottom nodes at base of stem, scratch stem gently with scissors + cut small slit on end of stem.
Dip stem into water, then dip into rooting powder, then firmly plant into moist soil.
Cover with Ziploc bag (humidity dome).
(same soil as shown in diary for germination)
Day 33 - Removed the First set of leaves. (Single finger leaves)
Watered when dry (about 4-5 days between watering now, due to the topping/cloning).
Will either need to be watered with nutrients soon, or root pruned + fresh soil.
Day 42 - Pictures were taken before watering (They were thirsty!)
Watered every 2-3 days (when soil is dried out) - getting close to a root-pruning session!
Watered one glug of de-chlorinated tap water, every 2 days (when the soil becomes dry).
They're definitely ready for a root prune session! That or some nutrients in the next watering!

Cleaned up the yellowing/dead leaves!
Watered/fed with 1tsp/gal of floranova grow (ph up to between 6.5-7) every 2-3 days; when dry.
Gently flowed the nutrient mixture through the soil of each plant, until 25% runoff, ensuring full saturation.
Root pruning session next week?

A healthy green shade is returning, now that they're being fed!
Each plant was watered/fed until full saturation + 20% runoff.
Ready to be watered/fed when the soil becomes 95% dry (~3days).

My favourite phenotype (so far) was topped again, root pruned, and transplanted to a slightly larger pot.
Each plant has been watered/fed, with a glug or two, from a 1 gallon mixture of 1tsp/gal floranova-grow (ph7).

The topped/Root-prunes/transplanted mom (#10 phenotype) is thriving!

The moms look happy to be fed, but I'm sure they would appreciate a topping/root-pruning/re-potting.
I for sure, would appreciate longer times between waterings (smaller root mass drinks less).

Mother plants are definitely ready for a pruning/cloning!

Each mother-plant was topped, and those tops were placed into cups of water, to be cloned!
The canopy has been cleaned up nicely!
Each plant has been watered/fed, with a glug or two, from a 1 gallon mixture of 1tsp/gal floranova-grow (ph7).
New Aeroponics "root rain" mist cloner! Holds 2 gallons of water. I added 8 Tsp of CloneX clone/seedling nutrient. PH was 6.0-6.5ish, good enough!
These clones inside got zapped pretty hard one day, because I forgot to plug in the water pump one time after playing with it hehehe... Some didn't make it, but most survived!
every other plant was watered with just de-chlorinated tap water, for re-hydration.
#4 has been selected as the winning pheno! The mother plant had her home upgraded to a 2gal pot.
The root ball was not so bound, due to her receiving a root-prune not too long ago, she was re-potted back into a solo cup.
I pruned the bottom of the root mass off with a light pinch, and potted her into her new 2gallon home!
Aeroponics cloner has been doing magic over the last week! Much faster than my previous cloning method, and 100% success rate too!!
Mother plants are loving their bigger pots!
Stoked at how well the aeroponics cloner works! Roots cuttings with 100% success rate, and fast!
Took clones from "winning pheno #4 Mom", and gave her a nice defoliation, to clean her up. Applied LST to a remaining branch, which was too small to clone.
Gave #10 mom a strict lolipop, and defoliation.
#10 mother plant will be going outside late May, to grow, then bloom! She's going to be huge!
Happy growing this week! The cloning experiments continue, with great success!
#4 Mother plant is recovering perfectly from the previous topping(cloning).
Cleaned up the #10 mother, with some defoliation, and LST! She's getting ready for her adventure outside this summer!
Took more clones from the #4 mother, and cleaned her up.
Happy growing! :)
#10 mom (for outdoor blooming) - Transplanted up a pot size, and LST + Defoliation.
Culled spare clones from the cloner box, and removed sprayer from inside. - converted to DWC cloner (for science). Overfilled the reservoir, and mixed with veg nutes. (1tsp/gal of the above, PH 6)
