Hi Growmies, She did not take well to the ec of 2.0 that I intended to feed her, so I changed the reservoir again midweek and went down to 1.6, after feeding her canna flush with RO water for 24 hours. She seems very forgiving, as she didn’t even get stunted by the lockout. 4 of the 8 shoots went through scrog and were super cropped underneath the screen. The others should catch up any day now and will be trained in a similar fashion. Rootball looks also amazing. I will experiment with continuously feeding her orca every 3 days, as it feels like the mycorrhizal inoculants seem to go down after 3 days and root growth slows down. Let’s see if it’ll work. Safe to say this is where the money shots start to happen xD. All is going well I think, Im trying to water them every day. Not a lot of maintenance needed at this stage if Im honest. There seem only to be a few little flowers under the net that i just pick off; they usually amount to nothing once dried. Hope to get these colas fat and heavy. Peace Charlie

Really starting to look good!! Seeing some Calcium issues, probably some lockout because I've been diligent about dosing Cal-Mag. Performed a 6 gallon flush with Bush Doctor Sledgehammer PH'd to 5.8. Excited to see these buds plump up!

Week 4 is now Here and running into some issue with bug spray really did a number on my girls. The XL Haze plant bounced back quick, Thank God for good gene. This week I will also raise the light a bit to get the girls to stretch a bit more. This week will also be the first day the girls get a some actual nuts

What a week recovering from a transplant brought on by Nitro Lock. We start week 3 Monday! I added one more new plant to the group being my total number of plants up to four!

K.onec 10. Týdne holku jsem dnes pokosil, trichomy plně mléka a občas i nějaký ten Amber. Pupeny jsou tak těžké že při sundávání rostliny se větve samy lámaly pod tíhou palic. Až to bude suché přidám pár fotek hotového produktu. Jinak lepkavou brokolicí bych ohodnotil dobře, snadno se pěstovala, a nebyly s ní žádné větší problémy.

Week 5 My little plant is still developing well and gaining in size. Granted, with limited light comes limited growth but I was expecting that from the get go. I'm happy with the progress and the plant is soon due for its first defoliation.

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is steady at 6.2. The rez ppm is 271. On day 2 I turned off the irrigation to deprive the plants of water for 2 days until harvest. I set up my dry tent with a humidifier set up with a humidity controller set to 60% and temps 67-70F.I harvested one branch to dry and test parameters. I will be harvesting in 2 days. On day 3 I'm excited about harvesting tomorrow! I think this strain probably is going to be at peak at day 56-60 but I don't have time to wait that long as my next run coming up after harvest needs to be finished before I go on a vacation in spring and harvesting early gives me just enough time to flower 7-9 weeks with a dry before leaving to go on vacation. The total flowering time for this run will be 53 days. The top colas have mostly gone milky with some amber mixed in and the lowers aren't all completely cloudy yet but probably 75% milky 25% clear. I enjoy a little earlier harvest anyways because I can get my Indica to give me a little boost of energy!

8/26 - sporty looking great, praying hard! Posh is working on it. But look who finally showed up to the party! I’m calling her Baby spice. She sprouted 12 days after going in the soil. Way to be a fighter girl! This is going to be a tricky thing to manage I feel like my gals are tracking a week apart. I’ll keep this journal’s timeline on sporty spice. -1 week for posh and -2 weeks for baby spice. spice girls let’s grooooow! 8/30 - exactly two weeks from sprout for Sporty and Posh. Pretty wild how big a difference there is between the two. Baby is getting her footing. Now. Sporty already pushing 4-5 nodes and I saw a tiny root through the drain hole. Wanted to pot her up! About 8 cups pro mix, one cup perlite. About 1.5 tbs of Gaia green 4-4-4, some worm castings and sprinkled mycorrhiza around where the rootball would be. God speed girly! 9/3. Potted up Posh today. About a half gallon pro mix, plus about 1.5 tbsp of the Gaia green 4-4-4. Plus about a cup of worm castings, perlite, and mycorrhiza. Sporty is looking very happy, 5 nodes and counting. Added back my second light, let’s go girls!!! 9/5. Wrapping up week 2 here, so far I’ve been really impressed with the pro mix Gaia green and soil support so far. The girls seem happy and healthy. Hey now! So after 8 days of drying, and 6 days of curing, I just tried the Sour Diesel in a glass water pipe, and she is freaking amazing. She burns nice and slow, with thick clouds of smoke, and tastes exactly like she should, like a sour/citrus/fuel with a very nice aftertaste. I ended up with less than 20% of wet weight, but I am so ecstatic with the quality, I could freaking care less! I have a fantasy football draft on Saturday night, and I can't wait for the rest of my league to sample her! I had so much fun with this grow, from constructing the watering/draining system, to learning more about photography and video, to meeting everyone in this community, and finally to smoking Nugs that I actually grew! Kind of flushed the plants a bit when I was testing my irrigation. Oops. Day 18 topped the plants and gave the a half dose of GHE nutes

14.5 - Week 13 is behind us. Unfortunately I found one bud with mold on the Blue Gelato 41 as well, so I had to act fast. Watching the plants get more mold day by day didn’t seem like the best plan, so I harvested the tops from those two plants right away. The last Super Boof — a.k.a. the ‘wide‑legged lady’ — took full advantage of the new situation. I flipped the circulation fan upside down and hung the light at an angle, so she basically has no lower canopy at all. This plant looks like: ‘I’m ripe, but I can easily stay here another month.’ I don’t think mold is a threat for her, so she can chill there for another 2–3 weeks if she wants. Since Tuesday she’s back on bloom nutrients. I mixed her another 10 liters as a farewell gift… Honestly, I don’t even know what a perfectly ripe Super Boof is supposed to look like. Back in my younger days, weed looked completely different.

I will begin training of the lower branches very soon. Two bottom ones out to the back, along with the next row. That way it will be growing the opposite direction of the main colas, and allowing more branches to grow into bud. Deciding to train was a great idea, as the lower shoots had grown quite a bit since yesterday. With only 3 more weeks left before flowering, maintaining the plants shape should be easily achieved. Love the dark green colour of the leaves. While many would say there is too much nitrogen, I think it's just fine. No issues with the leaves, everything looks normal. 11/19/21: Day 24. 💧Plant is growing well, minus the distinct leaf burns on the tips. The soil is only holding a slightly higher ratio of nutrients, but it is now the full recommended dose. Overall it's still in quite good condition. One thing I love, is how I messed up the FIM, and allowed the two new shoots to grow, while somehow still having the center shoots still grow. Albeit it's a little smaller, as it look longer to sprout, but it's definitely there. Not sure if it's 3, or 4 shoots now. I will spread the two long ones out a little at first, but then I'll let them all grow out together, like a pronged spear. Watered the plant fairly thoroughly, as it was definitely asking for a drink. 11/21/21: Day 26. Plant is looking great. Lower branches are being tied back and out, to allow for an even spread. About another week of the main stem being trained, with the final week being allowed to grown out and up. I still want it it be the main cola, as it would be nice to see what the colas end up looking like. 11/23/21: Day 28. 💧After a bunch of fiddling around with an idea for the plant, I went back to how it was, using staples. I spread the new growth on the top colas, allowing more light to reach the middle shoot. Just a few more days before I let it start growing out more, and then flip over to flower. I will water the plants after dinner, as I forgot to yesterday, and up until just now (3:54pm). They were fine earlier, so it's nothing to be worried about.
