Week 4 8/9 - All the girls are still moist so no water today as I'll let them dry out a bit until tomorrow when I'll check them again in the morning. The FastBuds Purple Lemonade and Seedsman Gelato OG girls are ALL getting it done! They are all 8" and bushy as hell! I've been tucking leaves, gently bending branches and doing my daily LST on all the girls to stay on top of them in this stretch before flower. 8/10- Checked the soil on all the ladies and it was very moist down deep, but fairly dry in the top 4" so I gave all the ladies a small drink (1 quart each) of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 @ 77deg. OMG they are really starting to bush out and stretch now, especially the girls in the Fox Farm/Natures Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate mix, they're literally exploding! FastBuds Purple Lemonade and Seedsman Gelato OG's continue to lead the pack with growth and overall looks although the rest are now looking like they're gonna give them a run for their money! 8/11- No water for the girl's today. Mail Call! The Nematodes arrived today, 10 million of them, goodbye Fungus Gnats!😀 Temp's, RH and VPD all remain on point with day temps running 75-84 deg. and 68-74 deg. during the 5 hour dark period, RH maintaining @ 50-55% (I've been running the humidifier set @55% and I'm adjusting the ph to 6.5 on the water in it as well and the VPD runs from .90 to 1.18. Started a batch of Compost Tea ( 4g de-chlorinated 6.9ph water, 4 cups Worm Castings, 2/3 cup Kelp Meal, 2/3 cup Alfalfa Meal, 1/4 cup Bat Guano, 2 scoops Great White Mycorrhiza, 4 tbsp. Neptune's Harvest Seaweed Extract, 2 tbsp Alaskan Fish Extract and 1/3 cup unsulfured molasses) for the girls breakfast in 2 days. They're all growing like crazy now and the FastBuds Crystal Meth is beginning to flower along with one of the FB Purple Lemonades, the rest shouldn't be far behind. 8/12- Applied the Nematodes to all the girls this morning mixed into 2 gallons of 75 deg de-chlorinated 6.8ph water divided equally among them. I continued with my daily mild LST on all the girls, continuing to spread them out to allow light to reach all parts of the plants. I also cranked up the HLG 650R's to 450 watts each for a total of 900w @ the wall hung @ 36" from the soil. After I eventually have them cranked to max during flower I may drop them slightly depending on how the girls react. 8/13- Compost Tea for breakfast! Fed the girl's 1/2g each through the top with tea (840ppm, 1780EC, 7.6ph @ 81 deg), tucked shade leaves and LST'd where needed. FastBuds Purple Lemonade's and Crystal Meth's are all in flower, still waiting on Seedsman! Growth is phenomenal, girls are healthy looking with the exception of the Seedsman Gelato OG in SOHUM Living Soil - she is getting what appears to be tip burn, I'll be keeping an eye on her. 8/14- Well well...almost the end of Week 4 and I thought it would be prudent to calibrate my Blue Labs Soil PH Pen and TDS/EC Pen, which I did. I then proceeded to check all of the ladies mediums ph and OMG am I glad I did! All of the Natures Living Soil/Happy Frog mixes ph'd between 6.2 and 6.8 which is perfect! The SOHUM Living Soil with the Seedsman Gelato OG in it also had an acceptable ph of 6.4 ----BUT, and I mean a BIG but, the SOHUM Living Soil with the FastBuds Crystal Meth #2 in it had a ph of 5.2-5.4 checked at four places around the pot!...WTF! I double checked everything and same result. The plant looks generally healthy, although not as robust as it's sister in NLS/FF mix. Gonna sleep on this and ponder my next move. The rest of the ladies are on FIRE😍 They are all in flower now with the Seedsman Zkittles the furthest behind and the FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 and both of the Purple Lemonade's are the furthest along so far. No water today as they got a healthy dose of compost tea yesterday but I did do my daily leaf tucking and light LST to keep the light penetration good into the lower bud sites. Speaking of light penetration, I cranked the HLG 650R's up to 450w at the wall each for a total of 900w hitting my girls now and lowered both of the 650R's 4" from 36" to 32" and will see how the ladies respond. 8/15- Well, I slept on what to do with the Crystal Meth #2 in the SOHUM Living Soil with the ACIDIC ph. Today I ran 4 1/2 gallons of de-chlorinated water @ 7.7 ph to try to get some ph back. I measured the ph and PPM/EC of the runoff and more surprises awaited. The runoff had a PH of 4.2, repeat FOUR POINT TWO, 1480 PPM and an EC of 6550 @ 77 deg. I don't know how this girl looks as good as she does considering that she's basically living in ten gallons of between black coffee and tomato juice! I'll check the ph of her medium tomorrow and see where we go from here. I gave all the rest of my girls 1 gallon of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.9 @ 76 deg. and defoliated a couple of leaves on the OG's, Zkittles and lightly LST'd everybody, even the girl living in a pot of coffee!...LMAO😂 ONWARD to Week FIVE!!! 🌱 Week 4 - Black Diamond Auto - Plant A 8×8 Adventure | Learning What Nature Wants to Teach Another week has passed inside the 8×8 Adventure, and every day reinforces why this project is so exciting. Unlike traditional autoflower grows, every plant in this room was germinated directly under a 12/12 light schedule. There was never a long vegetative period waiting before flowering. Instead, each plant has had to build its entire structure while already living under flowering conditions. It is a technique that fascinates me because it reveals just how different every individual phenotype can be. Some decide to begin flowering almost immediately. Others invest precious time building roots and branches before finally committing to reproduction. That is exactly why every plant receives its own diary. This week belongs to Black Diamond Auto - Plant A. ⸻ 🌿 A Completely Different Personality While several sisters have already started showing obvious flowering characteristics, this lady had other plans. Instead of rushing toward bloom, she kept investing energy into building herself. The result is becoming obvious. She is developing into one of the strongest structural plants inside the room. Long internodes. Strong branches. Excellent vigor. Beautiful symmetry. She almost seems to be saying, “I’m not in a hurry… I’m building something worth waiting for.” Sometimes the slow starters end up becoming the biggest surprises. ⸻ 🌱 Why Growing Under 12/12 Is So Interesting One thing I always enjoy explaining is why this project exists in the first place. Most growers veg their plants for several weeks before switching lights to 12/12. Here, the challenge is completely different. The plants experience flowering light from the day they emerge. That means every single day matters. Every root developed… Every leaf produced… Every branch formed… …is competing against the plant’s internal biological clock. Watching each phenotype decide how it responds to that pressure is one of the most educational parts of this entire adventure. ⸻ 🌿 Gentle Training Instead of Force This week continued with very gentle Low Stress Training. Rather than forcing dramatic bends or aggressive shaping, I’m simply helping light reach every future flowering site. Leaf tucking. Soft branch positioning. Small adjustments every day. Sometimes even gently bending large fan leaves out of the way instead of removing them. At this stage every healthy leaf is still acting like a solar panel, producing energy for everything that comes next. The goal isn’t to force the plant into a shape. The goal is to guide her while allowing genetics to express themselves naturally. ⸻ 💧 A New Chapter Begins: AutoPot Time One of the biggest milestones this week is that Plant A has officially graduated into the AutoPot system. This is something I’ve been looking forward to throughout the entire grow. For anyone unfamiliar with AutoPots, they are a completely passive self-watering system. There are no pumps. No timers. No electricity controlling irrigation. Instead, everything revolves around one incredibly clever little device called the AquaValve. The AquaValve constantly monitors the water level inside the tray beneath the pot. As the plant drinks, the tray empties. Only then does the AquaValve automatically open, allowing fresh nutrient solution to refill the tray before closing again. This creates a natural wet-and-dry rhythm while giving the roots constant access to perfectly oxygenated nutrient solution whenever they need it. The plant decides when to drink. Not me. It’s a beautiful example of letting nature control the schedule. ⸻ 🔬 Why This Is Such A Fun Experiment Even more interesting… Plant A won’t be alone for long. The current plan is to compare her performance against another Black Diamond that may remain outside the AutoPot system. Same genetics. Same room. Same environment. Different irrigation method. It’s still early, so I won’t draw any conclusions yet, but this comparison could become one of the most educational parts of this entire project. Sometimes the best lessons come from simply letting the plants answer the questions for us. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment The room continues running very consistently. Environment • 🌡️ Day Temperature: 33°C • 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C • 💧 Relative Humidity: 63% • ⚡ EC: 1.35 • pH: 6.1 • 💨 CO₂: 639 ppm • 💦 Solution Temperature: 26°C Even with the warmer daytime temperatures, the plants continue showing healthy metabolism and vigorous growth. ⸻ 🍽️ Feeding This Week Current nutrient program: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The feeding remains intentionally balanced. No need to chase high EC values while the plant is still investing heavily into structural growth. Healthy roots first. Strong stems second. Flowers will come naturally. ⸻ 🌱 Looking Ahead By the end of the week, she’s finally beginning to show the first signs that flowering is approaching. Nothing explosive yet. Just those subtle little changes every grower loves spotting: slightly tighter node spacing… new vertical growth… the first hints that she’s preparing to transition. Considering the structure she’s already built, I have a feeling she could become one of the larger plants in this room. Only time will tell. And that’s half the fun. ⸻ 💚 Final Thoughts One of my favourite things about this hobby is that every plant writes its own story. We provide the environment. The nutrition. The light. The care. But ultimately, genetics decide how the story unfolds. Plant A is teaching patience. She’s showing that not every plant needs to sprint into flower to become something special. Sometimes building a strong foundation is the smartest strategy of all. Veg Week 3 Day 21 to 27 - 4/17 to 4/23 A lot more to talk about this week. It's topping and transfer week. I started the week off (day 21exactly) by making sure I had at least 5 to 6 nodes of growth and topped P1 down to the 4th node and P2 down to the 2nd node as a test. (typically I top to the 3rd) I also removed all other node branches and fan leaves and usual. I left a large stump in my tops so the nodes can use it to grow around and help support the larger weight of a mature plant. I gave a couple of days of recovery while I hand spread the nodes daily to train the new waterways through the nodes. I changed my schedule and watered a day after and then transferred the plants into their forever pots/top watered in Feed this week was .5gal transfer and top feed at 100ppm total before add-ins. I used 100ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) I then also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.2 Feed plan next week will be a final top feed of .5gallon and then turn the reservoir on. Great week, plant hit it's stride and the time lapse shows it. Upping the EC to 1750 and letting her rip now. Should be seeing pistils soon.

Day 28 skipped watering. I don't know what she has. Are those spotes calcium deficiency? Day 29 1L water. 550ppfd 70% Day 30 skipped water, but tomorrow will water 1.5 topped the middle node to keep up with the rest. vpd ~0.8-1.1 kpa 580ppfd Day 31 0.5L water + 20 ml orgatrex + 1g bactrex vpd ~0.0-1.2 kpa 580 ppfd Day 32 1.2L water. Almost no drainage Day 33 skipped watering. snapped the first 2 trying to LST. But I kept them on I hope she will be healed Day 34 2L water.

Hey everyone 😃. This week she has done great 👍. It was done again on all the drifted topping and sprayed one last time with neem oil so that the last trips are finally gone 😁. We haven't had any pests for so many years and all of a sudden we have such little shit parts 😅. This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l of water. GHSC enhancer was added during a pouring (1 g per l) The tent was cleaned every day this week and the plants were checked for health. The humidifier is filled once a day. Next week I will decide how I will continue the training because I have space again in the flower tent 😀. This week I'll decide whether it goes straight into the flower tent or is pruned again. Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Third week of flower just starting Watered with 1100 ppm 1ml/l Cal Mag 1ml/l Uptake 1ml/ Big Bud 2ml/l Micro 1.5m/l Grow 2ml/l Bloom First time using big bud and andvace in general so I expect to impress myself, this growth has been beautiful and im afraid that is for the pH perfect thecnology, my previous grown autos been watered with top crop auto tri pack , but I still think that my Chinesse pH meter doesn't work as well as advanced thecnology Defoliated a lot, under canopys were under main fan leaves, I wouldn't mind to keep them but since the were in full dark under I think it's better yo defoliate Imma keep updating pictures as the weeks goes

First time growing the sticky and decided RDWC was worth a try. Took longer than I wanted to, to get the RDWC done. Pics are day 8/9 after RDWC Transplant. ChemCookies on the left (larger one) started sprouting about 2-3 weeks before I was given a seed of Compound Genetics Apples and Bananas. Took about 3 more weeks to get all the equipment set up so they have been chillin' in soil for quite a while. Going to SCoG when the net gets here. This is an odd grow, the next round will be the same strains and germination schedule. Think Ill veg them for another 1-2 weeks then put them into flower.

Week 3 and a repot is done and now in day 3. Si vous avez la moindre question n'hésitez pas à me contacter. La préparation des boutures est assez simple, il existe plein de guide pour les réaliser, contactez moi si vous rencontrez un problème. Ce qui est important c'est de partir d'une plante saine, ne présentant pas de carences. Si les branches ou feuilles de vos plantes ont un aspect/toucher étrange, il faut vous assurer de régler le problème avant de prélever vos boutures pour vous assurer de la réussite finale. En cas de carence sur vos pieds mères vous pouvez utiliser Revive et B-52 en foliaire et en irrigation pour régler le problème! J'ai donc fais une pulvérisation foliaire le jour précédent les boutures pour m'assurer de leur santé et également une pulvérisation de B-52 sur la plante mère après l'opération de taille! Une fois les bouture réalisé j'ai pulvérisé avec un mélange Voodoo/Tarantula/Piranha pour m'assurer qu'aucune bactérie ou champignon ne puisse venir infecter mes clones. J'ai utilisé des Rockwool Cube et je déconseille. Je trouve que l'enracinement est beaucoup plus difficile qu'avec Root it ou Root Riot de Growth Technology! Le processus dure environ 10 à 15 jours pour l'enracinement et il faut compter encore 5 à 7 jours pour l'enracinement dans le pot 1L. A ce stade les plantes sont enfin enraciner et prêtes à commencer leur croissance!
