Outside in 7 gal fabric pots, they’re stretching out and over 3 feet tall now. Tons of bud sites, probably another couple of weeks before the preflowers start to show sex. Gone out of town for a few days, so I rigged up a hose timer to flood the kiddie pool once a day and just let the plants soak it up from the bottom.

Method 📊📊📊 She trained incredibly well and recovered faster from topping than the NL did to a fim. This grow was a slightly different take on a traditional manifold leaving the top growth tips from each 2nd node (first topping) in place. This gave us 10 main colas as opposed to eight and we also left in a few extra shoots which proved to yield just that little bit extra.😉. If we had the space we would’ve stuck with 8 monster colas. Instead, we tried to squeeze usable bud out of every square inch. Maintenance was a bit of a bitch - had to defo numerous times to keep the light penetration optimal. Which brings us to the grow light - I won’t say it was ineffective cause that’s just not true. But, if this one had gotten much bigger we’d have seen some serious diminishing returns in bud quality. The tops and middles of each 10-12” cola were dense and chunky but the lower buds on the outer branches were like giant fluffy larf pillows. Thankfully there weren’t too many of these and I might’ve been able to solve this issue with some yo-yo’s if I wasn’t so damn lazy and “😜” when work’n on the garden. So, grow light review now that we’re through a few cycles - vipar spectra gets a 6/10 from me. It will grow solid, quality bud but certainly has its limitations. Their manual says it’s 450w should cover a space roughly twice the size of mine. I disagree and actual wattage draw is more like 200w. I’m gonna try to stick to photoperiod SCROGs with it in the future. Only real way to max out it’s effectiveness. Big plus - it’s about perfect for this particular space: 1:. Medium 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎛️ Coco is now the go-to medium in lieu of soil when we grow indoors. I can’t specifically say that the growth time is sped up compared to soil because I’m always growing something different but - she did recover very quickly from her toppings and the drainage is wayyyyy better. The fact that it’s nute neutral allows us to dictate exactly what the plant receives at all times. IMO - more manageable and precise than soil. Include a regular diet of calmag and ur good to grow.: 1: Yield🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Oh man what a gong show😎. The book on this one says that you’ll end up having to add support for her as bud weight becomes a serious issue in late flower. RQS is absolutely right, I had three smaller colas on the perimeter stretch for the last corner of light and they just got weighed down by the bud and pretty much fell over😂. We like this. Now the numbers - i did the math twice (and while sober just to make sure😉), you don’t wanna do it, it sucked, so you’ll just have to trust me: 1:. Total dried yield for the kush alone: 3.32oz. This crushes the single plant yield for any strain grown in this cabinet to date by well over an 1oz. : 1:😎. Total harvest yield across both plants: 4.99oz. This also crushes the record yield per cycle in the cabinet by a full ounce!: 1:😎👌💪🤩. The stats say an avg. of 500-550g/m2. Based on the rough size of my cabinet the avg. should be 131.25g/0.25m2.... our actual harvest across both strains - 140.6/0.28m2. That’s pretty damn good and spot on with the specs: 1:.😎 Props👊👊👊👊👊 A great many thanks to everyone who stopped in and cared to take some interest in this cycle. Plants are chilling, added in some bokashi and dry amendments, not expecting much more from this plant, just needs to finish growing and we can be done.

-Seeds were germinated directly in soil 2cm deep with 60ml of pH'd mineral water and covered with cling wrap for humidity. -Lights cycle: 18/6 - Seeds popped after 3-4 days, 100% germination -Cling wrap removed after germination -Day 1 of grow is 8/10/2020 -Day 1-4 seedlings were feed pH'd mineral water -Seedlings received their first nutrient feeding on day 5 -Nutrient water pH'd at 6.3 and oxygenated with air pump + air stone -Mycoroot was fed via top dressing Struggled to get the pH with in range, I had to mess around with pH up and down to get it in the range of 6.3. The growth looks good so far just a bit worried up about the colour of the leaves. Temp varied from 26C-28C and humidity ranged between 42-52%. I had to play around with the oscillating fan speeds and positioning as well as the amount of air inlet vents. I found that just having one opened helped get the humidity up and the temp had only a slight increase. I let the oscillating fan run on its lowest setting and put off its rotating function, I also made sure the fan was not directly hitting the plants which assisted with the humidity micro-climate. The distance of the HPS was at 90cm from top of plants after the popped out of the soil, this was readjusted to 60cm once true leaves were showing. They got the first nutrient feed on day 5.

Good morning, time for the weekly update! Today is day 34 of flower and I’m starting to miss the training, topping, and busy days of veg growth! Just peek in on them once a day and water anymore, getting boring! Last week they got one watering with silica and one with fish shit, week 6 of flower is starting so after this week I’ll probably just be giving them plain ph water. I hope the flowers have stacked well and start to put on some weight now, maybe you guys can give me some feed back on how the buds are looking at this stage! Thanks for reading see ya next week :)

I cannot talk up wicked genetics enough man,they are strong and stable plants and honestly since the temps have been continuing to drop these suckers have been LOVING IT!!! I am going to start some boston kreme pie S1s very shortly for my indoor grow. I have so many amazing strains from wicked I can't wait for this winter it's going to be insanity 🤯😵😵‍💫😎

Day 29 : Entering the flowering stage, 2/3 plants have a clear N & calmag deficiency so have upped the dose. Also increased the height of the light, plants at 18 - 20” still stretching nicely around 1” daily. My PH run of was a little low at 6.1 so next few feeds will feed at 7.0ph to raise this a little.

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

So Leute, in meinem Experiment sind nun zwei Weibchen ausgesucht worden, welche den stärksten Wuchs ausgeformt haben. Eine davon (rechts an der Zeltwand) wirkt besonders Homogen. Nach dem Topping wachsen die Triebe nun Recht gleichmäßig. Bei der anderen, dauert es noch ein bisschen länger, da Sie an sich zwei Tage Jünger ist (vermute ich einmal.) Sie war auch im Höhenwachstum etwas kleiner, da sie auch in einem kleineren Topf war. Die Pflanzen wachsen sehr schön und gleichmäßig. Und der Dünger von Weedefix legt auch ordentlich was hin. Ich werde diesen jetzt zusätzlich zur Anwendung einer Livingsoil hinzufügen um das Potenzial der Erde um ein weiteres zu erhöhen. Den die ganzen Bio Stimulanzien und Bakterien unterstützen die Livingsoil zusätzlich. Ab nächster Woche kommen die Ladys unter das Scrognetz. 🥦💚

Still drying up from last week flush, so no ferts. Will start again next week as soon as the soil is ready to accept new water. I removed all the lower branches that couldn’t reach the light and I moved the ceramic heat lamps in the bottom of the grow box to help the drying process of the soil. But the big news is that she finally started flowering! And this was the last who still was stuck in pre-flowering phase 😃

End of day 54 flower. Trimmed off all fan leaves on day 49. Day 54 moved both girls to a 4x2x5 tent where they will be following there new light schedule until harvest time. They will know winter is coming and start producing more trichomes with low humidity, cold water, less sunlight, lower heat, and then stab her on the main stem before the final day to be cut down. Still feeding them nutes and will probably flush around day 60. Trichomes are still clear and will be watching until they turn 30-40% Amber and then get the cut. Thanks for stopping by. Peace out ✌️

GSCE is making crazy gains. The BB has also started to pack on great weight but much more bushy and has passed the GG4 in both size and appetite. As for the GG4 for not sure why she slowed down for a little while but as of today(Day30) she is starting to strech out more like the GSCE. The rando bag seed is starting to really take off as well noticed small pistils starting just a couple of days ago. Bumped the watts up to 290w(85%) probably wont go any higher. 4/11 Week 5 has ended and im more then pleased with the results so far being that this is my very first time growing. The GG4 has shown the most growth these past couple of days as far as the autos go. The bag seed on the other hand had streched at least 8" in less than 1 week. If anyone has any suggestions, tips, criticism whatever ill take any and all of it.
