So after not growing anything for over 10 years(moved away from my home country, back then I had grown twice outdoors) I gave it a shot because the opportunity arose to do so this past summer(2018). Did so outdoors and fell in love with it even though I made so many mistakes. Learned from them though. After the season passed I knew I wanted to continue so here we are! First time ever trying this indoor growing! So far so good, Had to lower the light from 90 cm to 63cm to stop the seedlings from stretching on Day 1. First time indoor grow so first ime using a grow light, have to get used to it. But so far so good on day 3. Soil is Biobizz Light mix all the way through, will start adding some BioCanna Rhizotonic(seaweed extract for stimulating root growth) and maybe some Aptus Regulator(has a bit of magnesium and helps regulate the uptake of nutrients) around days 7-10. I'm using the regulator as my tap water has some calcium but is pretty high with PH at 7.7; but the soil has a PH of 6.2 and acts as a buffer. The BioCanna product line later down the line should also regulate the PH of the watering solution. I'm not sure but I think this should be enough not to warrant the use of a PH down solution. Going to be adding a tiny layer more of soil sooner or later(realized it was a bit too low around the edges and the water easily leaks out the first few holes(actually realized that when I wet the soil before planting the seeds, but failed to add more soil(I was high)). Also, I noticed I couldn't choose White Crack(mephisto) as a strain for my grow. Is there a specific reason it's not listed? If not, would the responsible people please add it? 😜 Just a pet peeve. 😅 Summary Week 1: Not as much growth as I had hoped for but I can't really complain. Am getting a small heater to up the temperature a few degrees. Also added first bit of Nutrients on Day 7: a few drops of Aptus Regulator and about 2.5ml/liter BioCanna Rhizotonic.

Day 11 update: Was away for two days(Days 9 and 10), came back to some very nice growth on all my White Cracks! I'm thinking the twisting in the first true leaves was due to the incorrect PH my first feeding and my tap water in general has(Tap water has 7.7 ph and first feed was about 8.5 ph...). While I was away my PH down came in the mail so that won't be a problem anymore from here on out! Going good so far, just gave them their second feeding of Rhizo and a dash of Regulator. Day 14 update: Everything going great so far with these White Cracks! Gave them their first dose of veg nutes yesturday and they seem to be taking it great! Also lowered the lights a few inches at a time today through out the day and settled at 50cm(20 inches), seem to be liking it so far, might lower it some more in the coming days. Looking forward to these here! On to week 3!

Day 19 Update! So far so good with week 3, pretty sure they could be a bit bigger, so I turned on the bloom switch on my LED yesturday and had to raise it to 80cm(and even here the 4AM next to these white crack were showing slight signs of light stress(taco'ing leaves). I started with some LST on my girls today, really enjoying this so far. Really looking forward to week 4. I noticed something today with LST'ing. White Crack#1 I think is showing some early signs of CalMag defenciency? Pictures above, 2-3 tiny rust(orange/yellow/brown) colored spots on a few leaves. If anyone has poiners for me regarding my first try at LST I'm all ears! Day 21 Update: So far so good with the LST, just that 2 of the White crack(#2 and #3 seem to have really tight internodal spacing, making tying the new growth down for LST quite tricky. It also makes it quite crowded atm with the new shoots coming up so closeto one another. But I'm happy, Moved my light a few inches away, will see if that makes em stretch a bit more. Just trying stuff out. All plants showed sex today, and all are happy ladies. Hope they continue to grow quite a bit more before they go into full on flower. Really looking forward to continuing to LST these girls, even if I get small compact short thick plants I'll be happy. My initial goal was 300g, but I think I'll need to be happy if I get half that. Next year I will get myself a nice QB 😅

Week 4 update: So... alot has happened this week. Recap: Day 22-24: continuing LST, thought I noticed the start of some nute burn on one of my other plants, so decided to feed only calmag+rhizo+regulator PH'd to 6.3 Day 24-25: After feeding them and doing some defoliation I went to check on them 7 hours later and noticed the further most hook to keep the top down on WC #3 had come lose. I was readjusting it when disaster struck! I forgot to support the plant further down(by the next hook) while pushing down and snapped the top clean off.... brought my mood right down... but my god it's my first grow and using LST so I'm just gona learn from that mistake. Day 25-27: continued LST albeit with much caution. on Day 27 I fed them again without any added veg nutes again. I also did some defoliation and noticed what seem to be small bite marks on some leaves... I look all over and under for signs of bugs but couldn't find anything. They are also really showing signs of going intoflowering on day 27. I also noticed what seems to be N toxicity(only the CalMg has a tiny bit of N that I've been feeding this week)so looks like I'll be feeding them only a tiny bit of PK booster with less regulator than usual. Day 28: First big noticable stretch of them starting to flower. Really looking forward to the next 6 weeks :D

Week 5 Summary: There are TWO double buds growing on WC#1, both coming from the same node from the main stem. Cool! I know it's probably not good for yield but it's cool none the less :D Days 29-32: I normally watered every 2 days but I noticed the girls were getting thirstier and alot faster. Had to up my watering volume to 15%(1.5l) pot volume once with a Calmg+Ph water, as it says on the bottle of the Calmg I shouldn't mix it with K boosters, So I'm doing a Calmg only Ph'd watering and then a bloom nutes feed at 1/4 strength so far.(biocanna bloom nutes still contain enough nitrogen and so does the Calmg). Last feeding on day 30 was with 2l. Hoped they would stay happy longer. They did but not as long as I'd hoped lol. Day 33-35: I was actually going to wait one more day to feed them after feeding them the most they have gotten yet(volume wise), but 3 days later they actually unexpectedly showed signs of underwatering so I had to feed em on the 24th...(day 33). Gave em another 2l. Noticed signs of deficiencies today. Plants were showings signs of underwatering, and temps were at 28 celsius and 45% RH. Heat stress? But the leaves affacted(see pictures) were toward the bottom and some were actually not that old on the white crack. Oh well, will add Calmg next feed. Fast forward to day 35 and the pots are already feeling light again, so I finally decide to water till I get a significant amount of runoff(hard to judge with these air pots cuz they sometimes leak out the sides). Gave em all a nice kind of flush(only Calmg) of with 3l each. Going to stay at 3l from now on, seems to be the right amount of runoff. Soil is a bit acidic atm judging by the runoff PH(strange as it was really alkeline last time). Not really sure what to do with the soil runoff PH lol. Also I have been defoliating every time I water them as well. I think I'll start to go easy on them now after doing what I did to them last night lol. But checked today(day 36) and they are doing great, already starting to recover, even saw a slight increase in height from last night(like 1cm). Since this is my first grow I'm not really sure if they are on track but comparing it to other grows of the same strain I seem to be doing ok :D

Week 6 Summary: First off, Happy New Year! May the new year filled with peace, love, joy and dank buds! 😄😉 Day 36-39: Despite my heavy defoliation they seem to bounce back quite quickly every time, but this is my first grow so I could be completely wrong and slowly murdering my plants... 😅 WC1 starting to frost up, the two double buds are starting to split themselves up while stretching: WIN! WC2 and WC3 really starting to show their size compared to just a week or 2 ago, really spread out now, and starting to stretch. Day 40-42: WC2 and WC3 really stretching now. WC2 almost catching up to WC1's height, and has probably spread out the most out of all plants when you compare it to a few weeks ago. Maybe defoliating is a good thing for Autos after all? I'm stoked about these. Although WC2 and WC3 are a few days behind of frost production it's definately starting to show itself by the end of week 6. Stoked for these!! These are stinking aswell, but for now the 4AM in the tent is sweetening it up! On to week7!!!

Week 7: Day 43-47: These White Cracks have been a blast to grow, and I'm even more saddened I couldn't get a 7 pack(wanted to grow 6x white crack, but only 3 left in stock). They have been doing great, White Crack 2 and 3 have impressed me the most these past few weeks as white crack 2 was probably the smallest most compact plant i've ever seen, but after aggressive defoliation she has really started to spread out and almost surpass White Crack#1 in size. White Crack #3 suffered from my accidental topping but is also coming along very nicely, has been spreading out a bit these past few weeks also. These two have been showing almost no signs of deficiencies or stress, leaves look very healthy. So happy with these plants. Day 48-49: Didn't get enough runoff on day 48 while watering to test PH, but I will go back to PH'ing to 6.5 until I see some negative signs. These girls are really starting to stank! Holy hell if I didn't have a carbon filter.... Also I finally got my new 150w COB(3x50w 3000K cree) so set that up on day 49! On to week 8! The home stretch! I'm thinking the white crack are going to take a bit longer to finish than the 4AM, bummed out because I wanted to use the tent to dry... I might just harvest the 4AM a week late and the White Crack a week early, meet up in the middle. Will be nice to get different affects from the smoke too, if harvested at the same time but a different ripeness of the buds.

Week 8: Day 50-53: All seemed well with the White Crack plants, gave em their normal feed on day 51 PH'd to 6.5 and measured runoff PH(only got enough from WC#1 and #2). WC#1 read an astoundingly low 5.3 PH!! Like what??? No visible signs of stress or deficiences, but leaves feel less healthy than the other 2 White Cracks. WC#2's runoff measured at higher than ingoing at 6.7PH, which I think means I'm under feeding her. She looks insanely healthy though, so will just up her and WC#3's doses next feed, as they both look like very similar phenos and leaves feel and look healthy on both plants. Day 54-56: Ok so decided to flush WC#1 like I did with the 4 Assed Monkeys because runoff was more tha 1 whole PH off from ingoing last feed on day 51. Ended up with a runoff of 6.5PH, same as ingoing feeding immediately after the flush read 6+PH(took 4L of 6.5 PH'd water with regulator). Fed WC#2 and #3 with their scheduled calmg feed but I added some super PK this time to get the PH of the soil down a bit. Ended up getting 6,2-6,4 runoff on both plants, very happy with results of all my runoff now. Finally got that behind me... End of Week 8: WC#1 seems to be finishing the fastest, along with 4AM#1(if we go by the orange pistils). WC#2 and #3 have really stretched a bit more these past few weeks catching up to WC#1, and they all look amazing! Really stoked for the end of the month!

Week 9: Day 57-60: So... I'm in love with these White Cracks! #1's Main cola coupled with that PHAT ass double bud has got my wouth watering! I was worried it would be a bit too early on day 73 for #2 and #3 but they seem to be catching up qickly and are really only a few days behind #1. I can throw everything at #2 in terms of nutes and she just eats it up, what a surprise pheno after the VERY bushy and compact structure of her first 3.5 weeks. Buds are very dense on all 3 plants and SUPER frosty! They enjoy an upped dose of Calmg on day 60! Day 61-63: They are starting to show their fall colors ever so slightly, and the temperatures are going to be 2C cooler from here on out, so hoping for a little extra color 😉 Gave em all a nice final feed of bloom nutes on Day 63. #1 has about 85-95% white pistils and #2 and #3 have about 45-55% orange pistils. #1 is about 70% milky with a 5% amber and #2 and #3 are about 50-60% milky and a few amber here and there. Looking forward to these last 10 day! will be giving them PH'd water with regulator until harvest in 10 days. I only have time on Day 73-74 to harvest which I don't mind. I'm hoping this will create a varience in the type of effect every plant has to offer! Oh and these White Crack overpower the 4AM in terms of smell by quite a large amount. I can't smell the 4AM in the tent with these 😂 EDIT: Oh and just wanted to say thank you for all the help you all have given me so far! Oh and shout out to FastBuds, which sent me a message last week saying they were interested in me growing their genetics! They're sending me some free seeds for my next grow! How awesome is that!

Week 10: This will be the final update before Harvest: I will update post harvest after the dry and weigh. Day 64-66: Decided I would continue feeding them until I harvest since they could go 7 days longer. Albeit with a half dose of Calmg and Boost(micro). All White Cracks seem to be doing good. I realized a few days ago the outer plants underneath the blurple LEDs seemed to be showing slight signs of light stress(the leaves were bending away from the light instead of toward it). I lowered the Blurples a few days earlier so I raised them back up. These are some FROSTY plants... Day 67-70: Going good, plants under the blurples responded postively to raising the lights. Seems I was wrong last week about these smelling stronger than the 4AM, it's actually the other way around lmao. But these are still some great smelling plants! Can't wait to dry and weigh that thicc double bud and main cola from WC#1! Hope it's not too airy, they look like pretty dense buds! Really bummed that I have to harvest this weekend, I would have liked to let #2 and #3 go for another week, but it's all good! Next time! Still this will probably the dankest shit I've smoked in a very long time 😂😎 #1 is probably the most mature at this point with about 90% cloudy and a 5-10% amber. #2 and #3 are the same with about 70-80% cloudy and a few amber. This has been an awesome learning experience and I'm already thinking about ways to improve my next grow! These White Cracks have been quite resistant to my newbiness! Awesome plants to grow! Much easier to hanlde than the 4AM!

These were awesome to grow! #3 produced the densest nugs out of all of them, probably due to accidentally topping her. #1 and #2 are very similar in shape and density. Really happy with the results! To those curious as to how I got to 179W(with 113w grow and 220w flowering) overall consumption. Here's how: I used 90w for these 3 plants from Day 1-21 180w from Day 22-49 255w from Day 50-73 Worked out the average Watt/Day for the entire grow using those values. I am overall very pleased with this being my first grow. I have learned alot for next time: 1 - I will mix in some extra perlite with the biobizz light mix next time. Just a little. 2 - I will water to runoff once before week 3 is over to try and take advantage of the whole pot(although I still need to check my roots, but I suspect they could have been more developed if this measure was taken). 3 - Calmg! Definately underestimated how much they would need! Although it wasn't as bad with these White Cracks, they were a breeze! Took everything I threw at em! 4 - Defoliating: Not sure if I would do this differently, as I am happy with the results! But I butchered these autos with heavy defoliation week 4 through 7-8. I lolipoped early week 2-3 of flower too while I was defoliating. Any experts care to give their input here? Was it the right thing to do? 5 - Do not have a fixed harvest time, These White Cracks(especially 2 and 3) could have gone another week easy. Next time I will have a second tent to dry in. 6 - I am going to be getting a large resevoir next time around and an air stone(or 2). I think my tap water being hard water didn't help and made it unnecassarily tedious even with correcting the PH. Should improve. Overall I am very happy with the results! 1.1g / Watt! for these White Crack!(Using the Watt avg over the entire grow)
