Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 3 weeks of Flowering Completed 19th March 2020 Hi folks , I hope everybody is keeping safe and well during these trying times. 😷 The Ginger Nut cookie plant might end up needing a new name because she smells like pineapples and other fruitiness. 😛 All of the buds are starting to fatten nicely and have a generous amount of resin being produced. The rainy weather is back but this time instead of it being humid , it is getting cold especially at night. None of this seems to be having any detrimental effects on her but to be safe I put the pot under cover when it's raining. Ph is stable @ 6.4 Soil temp has dropped a little to 18 degrees. **** Now For this weeks Aussie music Video ** Last week I chose Cold Chisel and for this weeks Artist I have chosen Jimmy Barnes , who after leaving Cold chisel began a solo career here in australia. Very excited for my first grow ever. My soil is the Biobizz-Light Mix in a 11L pot .I got so impatient that i even dug it out at some point to see the progress...i hope it won't have any consequences. The first days, i only sprayed the soil with some water to keep the soil moist. At Day 4 of germination i watered it for the first time with 250ml tap water at 6,5ph. I will run my light for 18 hours now at a distance of 60cm with full power. That will lead to round abot 215 ppfd and 12k lux for the final days of germination. At day 6 after germination two darker spots appeared on the first 2 leafs. I hope it’s just because of some water drops on the leafs. Watered every 3 days with 350-500ml of 6,5ph tap water. 23.05.24: For my definition the vegetative stage starts today. I will turn the light up to 500 pphd Very excited what will happen next!

We have successfully made it through week 5. The Runtz genetics continue to show strong growth—this plant literally grows before your eyes every day. As soon as some shoots are removed, the plant starts developing even more vigorously. The only one that seems a bit neglected is the third plant in the last row. This week, I’ll try to weave the main shoots into the net more effectively. I suspect that due to the varying plant sizes, it’s not getting enough light. None of the three plants have shown any pistils yet, which I personally think is a good sign, as it allows them to focus on growing in height and width first. There are still slight mineral deficiencies visible in the leaves, but I am counteracting this by increasing fertilizer and using foliar spray.

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

The plants look good overall. The royals look great! They were watered with 1.5 liters of water per plant. (With fertilizer mix) Total Time: 1377:39 h Total Energy: 222,79 kWh

End of Week 3 of Flower, lots of buds showing, trichomes developing, stretching for the light. Layed of the Flora Gro and micro this watering. Added a drop per gallon of Superthrive. Light defoliation as well to open up inner bud sights.

Start of week 5 of flower and the girls are looking happy, starting to get a decent scent on them, definitely got that citrusy smell coupled with candy sweet... I can’t wait for it to finish now, 3-4 weeks and counting 😅

Blue Shark is still super happy, aside from bugs munching on her (I pulled an inchworm off in the video!) so I sprayed with more Neem oil, and I'll be watering in some Big Bloom and Molasses later. These photos are filling out the tomato cages nicely! Sunday- I'm out picking snap please and look down and hey... wait, what?! I have a female cannabis plant growing out of my pea bed using the trellis for support! I laughed so hard. Not only because I didn't plant it but also because I didn't see it before. The thing is it smells just like Blue Shark. I'm wondering if it's the seed that didn't germinate before and I reused the soil. Thing is I put the peas out EARLY. Quite resilient.
