Week 6 has come and gone. It’s safe to say that this plant is done stretching. Quite a growth spurt from week 4 till now. Time to pack on the buds. Buds are really developing this week. Looking like they are already turning purple. Lots of frost starting in just the second week of flower which makes me very happy and excited to see what she can do in the coming weeks. This plant is sucking up the water now, I’m having to water 1.25 gallons in my 5 gallon fabric pot every 3 days. I’ve defoliated quite a bit but I think one more round will be needed this week. She has had ZERO signs of any nutrient issues thus far so I’m hitting her with 2.2EC on the next water. I’m very happy with the plant growth, although I could have tied down the two taller branches a little better. The crazy thing is they are the second branch on the plant so they started all the way at the bottom. Gotta love LST. It’s looking like I’ll have 10-12 main branches producing well.

Really lovely flower. Look snd smell lovely. Gréât structure amd looks Like she’s gonna be a real banger. She’s at full feed now for this week and the next. Will see how no strips it is by then. Highly recommend to grow. Pretty and big.

The trichomes are 70% milky, 20% amber and 10% clear. The nutrients have been used up and the lady is allowed to stay a few days before she comes into the darkroom for 48 hours before the harvest. Been feeding just water ready for the chop. Some of them have all brown pistils and have pretty much stopped all together. The kalimist indica pheno is still flowering so I'll let it go until it looks ripe 👍

So I really wish I could say this last week has been all sunshine and rainbows, but it has not. First well start with the good. Plant FINALLY stopped growing right at the best spot possible. Light is basically maxed out as far as it can go up. I could still do still do few things to maybe get a extra 1-2" but I'll wait and see if I'll need to. As you can see from the photos there is a massive amount of stacking going on with the buds. Words can't describe the excitement I have to see how big they all get and the yeild of the plant as long as I don't have anymore hiccups. Now the bad... didn't have any run off for a few days so I gave it a solid watering and got lots of run off. Run off that had a ppm of 2500..... almost 1300 ppm above what I put into it.... well fuck. So I gave it a flush tell I I it down to 1700 because I didn't want to keep putting water into it. Next day it had bounced back up to 1900 so did a small flush again and got it down to 1400 ppm. Then yesterday it had jumped back up to 1700 so I decided to change how I water it. Instead of giving it a massive feeding ones a day and having the coco dry out probably more then I should, I'm going to split the quantity in half and start giving it 2 feedings a day. 1 when lights turn on and another a hour before lights turn off. Hopefully I'll still get run off both times so that I can test it. Hopefully I'll get this corrected before next week. Well that's all everyone Happy growing!!!

I'm starting pre-flowering, letting it adapt and revegetate a bit. I would have liked to give it more, but I've learned my lesson for next time, maximizing my results. I'm waiting for some Under Canopy lights to try them out and I've been trying to finish the grow room. And I need to change this SCROG net; I didn't like it, you can't guide everything properly.

What to say in the end, even though things were not ideal, the outcome is better than expected. 🙏 My only regret is that it has not reached its full potential, although the buds are beautiful, dark purple, full of terpenes that stick to your fingers like honey when you touch them. 😋 The outcome is in the end 56 g. which is more than it looked before the harvest. 💪 She dried along with her two roommates Purple Punch for a total of 14 days. My wife, although not a consumer, enjoys trimming which suits me great because I can take photos during that time. After trimming, we put the dry tops in jars where they matured for another 20 days. Sometime in the future I would definitely repeat Watermelon, I know it can do even better. It’s great that it’s summer, it fits perfectly with the Watermelon joint on an afternoon summer evening with a book and the sea. Okay sooooo big big sighhhh! I’ve been dreading making this post so I’m sorry I’m behind 2 weeks. I had to go outta town for 8 days. I had everything set up for my brother to take care of the plants. It was a really hot week the week I was gone and these plants were taking a beating and started to get burnt from the heat! One plant died and I’m super sad about it. But we living and learning out here! I have tried to trim the dead leaves without taking too many fan leaves off so I don’t shock em more. All last week was surviving giving the plants a little over a gallon of water a day! Doing some of the nutrients every day but not all. I like to run water in Between the nutrients. But with coco coir I’m not too sure if it’s needed. “Learning over here” so ya thankfully it’s been cooling down and I’ve learned some new tricks to cool the tent off! I got a air water cooler that’s blowing cold air into the tent and my 6” duct sucking out hot air. Things are looking better! One more week with nutritions then a week of flush and Harvest is what I’m thinking. Any suggestions thoughts or ideas for me! I’d appreciate it!

FBT 2307 has been killing it. She got some nice big colas on her. I switched to ph water a few days ago. I will be looking to harvest in about 10 days roughly. I did add orange essential oil to ph water. Dunno if it will effect anything. She grew great under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light in the Athena blended line nutrition. Thank you Mars Hydro. I'm going to rinse the left pot with Advanced Nutrient "Flawless Finish" which is suppose to grab nutrients out from the plant and medium with empty chelates then only feed with PH 5.8 water for a week or so. Tricomes are mostly milky now on it but not many brown at all. The 2nd plant which is much taller looks to be about a week behind, so will treat that one accordingly. I'm really tempted to chop the advanced one down!!! Flawless Finish and Bud Candy from now on out, Giving a more heavy dose of Flawless Finish right now and will wait 12 hours and do it again with a heavy flushing that time to get the medium as clean as possible. It will take at least 4L per pot to start flushing well. Still look like they are packing and fattening up though. Yellowing in the left side is pronounced, Day 65: A few more days of flushing till the chop. The scent is kind of nasty right now

11/02/22 another week down. This girl is growing quick. Will continue feeding as needed (about every 1.5 - 2 days)
