Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you.
This time we are faced with an absolute novelty from Zamnesia, a plant from the latest generation of an immense series that Zamnesia is bringing out, ready to try them all. Here we have excellent parents, the primette result is great, let's also try the Karen Kush. I was amazed by the perfect branding for this strain and so let it be Karen.
To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step.
- Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination.
Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases).
- Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally.
- Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water.
- Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems.
- Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Be careful not to exceed the first week at least with photoperiodic plants.
- Germination % --- In water 20/20 seeds have opened for good luck I'm waiting to talk when they come out of the ground but it seems that we are going towards an excellent percentage of germination..."Not too bad"...

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly profitable germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia.
She is the Karen Kush, a brand new strain with almost no previous cultivation, Zamnesia guarantees us that it will be a bomb and the parents confirm it when we read the sheet we are certain that the conditions to do well are all there, now let's get to work with the best known skills and the best suppliers of growth material.
The two plants are in excellent condition to be on day 9 and we are ready to see them break through now that they are taking the feeding program.
---- New Home - The ladies have almost all been transplanted into 11-liter pots which is my favorite size to get the best ratio of presence of plants in the grow box / yield. Especially if you don't have to do exaggerated topping or you have to grow the plants straight with main cola as I do for catalog needs as I do, 11 liters guarantees you to make excellent plants. Time flies, we have arrived in a flash at day 16, it seems like the other day that the first young ladies were appearing on September 1st. "Do you remember.....nanannana Septermber"
She is the Karen Kush, a brand new strain with almost no previous cultivation,
it has a crazy name and from the first weeks of growth it actually seems a bit crazy. Low internodal distance, regular growth. I made a small mistake, I personally went a bit easy with the growth fertilizer and there is a slight beginning of nitrogen deficiency, but we solve it immediately by giving the normal doses, don't worry. Usually I am in line with the table now I was slightly under with the grow and I did wrong. Let it be clear that if you see a slight fading, next week you will not see it anymore.

Zamnesia spaceship here, it's your Space Sailor Bread_n_Buds speaking to you, we've reached the middle of the third week, exactly day 24 and they are my beautiful space ladies.
She is Karen Kush a photoperiodic that is proving stable (since we have two very very similar specimens), certainly with low internodal distance (so for growers who don't like to push themselves too high), she has a good metabolism, she eats regularly also thanks to the fantastic Plagron fertilizers that supported everything. I'm cleaning the lower part, the low internodal distance also means proximity to the ground and useless branches underneath, I recommend pruning/lollipopping slowly guys always clean underneath because the small flowers force the plant to produce useless stuff, always concentrate on the part that gets the most light.

For our Zamnesia girls It's time to work some magic, since October 1st we are in flowering, the plants have vegetated for exactly 4 weeks, a single top was done on some, others are growing straight, some clones here and there still in veg.
She is the Karen Kush I have to admit that she is the plant that I like the least as it is going of the series, her leaves are a bit frayed and you can never recover from a mini deficiency, the other more or less the same thing, but never say never, on one I did topping and on the other we'll see how it goes, it could surprise us.

Our Zamnesia photoperiod plants have also started their journey into the magical flowering period, this is the first week.
---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a bit again but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid jeopardizing the quality of the flowers. If necessary, open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees
where 30 is already a lot. The good thing is that as soon as the lights are turned off the change is already visible a bit and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should also be dehumidified)
- Our two Karen Kush plants had a bit of a hard time during the vegetative stage and I applied my emergency rule when a plant isn't doing very well. The plant that was having the most trouble was topped and is now about to send out 8 central tops and two lateral tops that were LSTed and have been branched out, really beautiful, great work, I told the guys at Zamensia that I was trying to come up with something and fingers crossed it seems I succeeded. A result that is obviously pleasing to the eye as well. Beautiful. This one is still in the vegetative stage in a separate small growbox. The second plant was also having a hard time, it seemed to be going into deficiency, it showed signs of over when I tried to recover so I gave it a good clean to give the plant less stuff to manage and now it seems we're going straight up well. She's flowering with the others.
--- Technique chosen as I mentioned one of the two plants was left to vegetate, topping on the main central line up to 8 buds now growing. However, unlike the main lining, I left two side branches which also have some nice branching and I applied a symmetrical and pleasant LST.

We have reached the second week of flowering for our beautiful photoperiod ladies of Zamnesia. Born 1 September now at day 45 amazing.
---- The general environmental conditions are good, there is always a little too much heat from next week we should have just for the resin a sharp drop in temperatures that could also give us beautiful foliage for this period.
--- Our 2 Karen Kush deserve a slightly different discussion. They had a bit of difficulty in the final vegetative phase, I saw them not being very good and here is where different decisions must be made for the two plants.
—— Plant 1 is still in vegetative stage in another growbox dedicated to emergencies and due to space problems. I topped the center x8 tops and I'm letting them grow. Under the center I cleaned everything except two lateral branches that I elegantly worked with a symmetrical LST that director Wes Anderson would really like. It's a plant that could easily be dedicated to Grand Budapest Hotel. Also these lateral tops were growing too much compared to the center. In fact, by taking the center's food first, whoever is at the internode below eats first, there is nothing to do and therefore these lateral underlying branches were becoming much taller and more powerful than the center. Solution? Repeated fimming to keep the lateral branches low, which are indeed widening and strengthening, but the center is reaching them to be better aligned. In my opinion it will be wonderful in the end.
—— Plant 2 was cleaned of many branches that would have given useless holes and we simply sent it into flowering straight like the others, we need to photograph the main cola of the plants and making them grow straight is more or less the only way.

We have reached the point of giving a good dose of iron in the first weeks of flowering on the advice of Plagron directly foliar and I am at the end of the second week of flowering. It had started a bit quietly but now it is proving to be among the best.

The situation is starting to get super interesting also for our photoperiodic Zamnesia, we have new and very different strains that are expressing themselves very well, Karen Kush, Test 1, Test 2, Cosmic Noodles and Runtz are already making my mouth water, it is the grass that I will be consuming during the magical Christmas and end of year periods, it must be done well to give nice trips to me and those who are with me.
The first two ladies that we present to you are our two Karen Kush, a separate discussion must be made for them as I decided to work one with the techniques and leave it in veg and one to let it grow straight in flowering with the others.
--- Plant 1- 3rd week of flowering - It is the plant that is growing straight to immortalize the main cola we decided to do so otherwise with the techniques it comes crooked, in the wrong places and often unaesthetic. I just cleaned the lower part to avoid weak and small flowers and I'm letting go of everything that I think will be exposed well to the light. The small buds form at a regular rate.
--- Plant 2 - still in VEG phase - It's a plant that I decided to work with techniques to make sure I can also show some techniques to the guys who often ask me. We have applied a symmetrical LST on the lower branches that I call laterals for weeks, today I reapplied a LST to keep the laterals a little lower - for the same purpose I'm applying FIMMING at the top of these branches to keep them low, at the same time they are strengthening compared to the center that has remained a little weaker. In the Center we applied TOPPING x2, x4, x8 maybe it would have been better to stop at 4 tops I made more they are moving up but penalized by those mega lateral branches below that being first in the lymphatic line take the food first. In the center I applied a SPLITTING that was not perfectly successful for this reason without toothpicks but with a central branch split and quickly reattached without detachments because it was split too much and I risked losing it. However, everything is alive and healthy, let's see what happens.

Ladies and gentlemen, the story is starting to get interesting, the flowers are almost all nice and full on our Zamnesia photoperiods and the others will be soon. The Karen Kush has this good specimen that I show you and another that I am going to diarize separately in this one was left in vegetative to try a little monster.
This is a plant that needs care, it metabolizes a lot of nutrients, it tends to discolor if you do not give an addition to the recommended doses of basic fertilizer. Having said that, she swells and also well so I expect some good flowers to smoke happily.
As for fertilization, she is not a very fast plant, up until now we have been on the Plagron fertilization program for the beginning of flowering, now we move on to the one for the final phase where we leave the Power Roots and the Pure Zym to make room for the Green Sensation. Power buds is already going from the first week of flowering, it is a stimulant guys, I recommend Power Buds at the beginning, Booster when the flowers have passed the initial bud creation phase and take shape, they need to be pumped. Some plants flower very quickly now the advice based on the average of Plagron is from the 4th week am if the plant flowers quickly bring forward a week. You need to both follow the card but also look at the signals that the plants send us.

It's time to swell and grow and our Karen Kush has finally become a beautiful plant.
The plant is an absolute novelty there are few people who have grown it yet and at this point in the journey we have to say that we are liking it.
The main cola is swelling really well, the rest is not at the same level but it seems to us that this plant will conclude happily too.
We are giving the Canna FLush I don't really know if these products do anything in the end, our flowers are super good anyway and we use them.
Red pistils at about 40-50% on both and mostly transparent trichomes still with some cloudy and little amber only on the leaves.

And here is our Karen kush, the one that grows straight, Christmas tree version so to speak, 4 weeks of vegetative and let's see how it goes.
The plant has put on a good amount of body and consequently of flower, the Main Cola seems to be structuring itself in a really important way, it has become really swollen as I would not have believed and it is still pumping.
You can see some color already but I give another shot of fertilizers still because I have some signs of deficiency, a plant that needs a lot of fertilizer this at least in my opinion.

There was a time when I didn't have much hope for this girl, I was wrong, I have to admit this is a great strain and I understood it when it started to pump the central flower.
I'm doing great growing only Zamnesia genetics, do you want to know how many hermaphrodites I've found? ZERO.
Think about it guys, now I'm a friend of Zamnesia and that's fine but consider the fact that a reality like the one I'm honored to represent at this moment could offer you a quality level much higher than average.
I'm telling you this because when I was growing with breeders who were doing their best to make me their seeds, often and only with photoperiodic ones, I happened to find hermaphrodites. I made a mix of breeders and one or two plants practically always started to make seeds.
Now zero, nothing at all, not even a ball, an indecision, a test. My girls are all definitely Female.
Try asking your friends, unfortunately no one admits it anymore but if you find someone honest like me they will tell you that with all the crosses they have done and the cuttings they have "stolen" from the Californian breeders you can't understand anything anymore. By crossing them randomly and not following lines of genetic development everything has happened and in this chaos who can offer you the best? For me the industries and in fact returning to the hermaphrodites, this time I have absolutely no choice.

Today is Karen Kush day. Zamnesia has created this crazy strain with truly exceptional aromas and we have tried it.
First of all, I invite you to look at the other specimen in the diary "BIG KAREN KUSH" which has been worked with topping, lst, fimming and even a central splitting. Very beautiful at the top, many buds but let's move on to our plant which lacks nothing, grown straight with an important main cola and a crazy appearance that makes it impossible not to love it.
The outside part of this plant is the only thing I can't show you: the smell, guys it's an absolute wonder and it is combined with that fantastic oily effect that resinous plants have, pulensola was all a cream.
The plant requires some skills in controlling fertilizers, it is very voracious even of nitrogen at the beginning it discolors, but we know how to look at what the plant tells us and we have always kept it under control with a slightly higher dose of fertilizer than the others.
In flowering it also seemed to tend to go into deficiency but Plagron does not allow this, if you use Plagron and you know how to recognize the deficiencies in the initial stage you can forget about seeing yellow leaves before time. Especially in flowering Alga Bloom is perfect for reconstituting a plant with deficiencies then the enzymes, amino acids and many other bio elements present in the additives do the rest. Guys I recommend not to underestimate the additives it is true we can grow even with only the basic fertilizers but the additives give a pimp that you do not expect, I have used a significant series now and I have had immortal results I must say.
Thanks to Zamnesia I have another important news for you ZERO HERMAPHRODITES. I bet photoperiod growers have had this problem a lot lately. Sorry for the thousand sstrains I tried when I was sponsoring but I've always had them too, until now when I've been growing exclusively Zamnesia. Does that sound weird? I don't have any fucking seeds in my weed? Let's talk about it if you want.
