Hey guys, sorry for the late update i was very busy these weeks! I took photos so you can see how they looked 8 days ago. They still didn‘t seem mature enough so i waited a little longer. This week (yesterday) I cut them down and turned on the AC. They will need to Dry for at least 12 days so i‘ll post an update as soon as I get to smoke them. I read that terpenes and canabenoids are synthesized during light hours and some people let the lights on for 24 hours before harvest. So I did exacly that. Thanks for reading my diary 🙏😊

Partimos con esta Negra 44. Inicio su germinación el día 17/06, y se paso a su primera maceta el día 20/06. Emergió el día 23/06 Esta en una maceta de 0.15lt y lleva exactamente una semana desde que dejo de ser una plántula, es decir, desde que empezó a desarrollar sus primeras hojas "reales" (con capacidad fotosintética). Se le aplico Great white en contacto directo cuando se puso la semilla ya germinada en la maceta luego en el riego Myco chum el cual también es de Plant Success, su función es alimentar a los microorganismos antes añadidos con great white. Mañana se le hará su primer transplante a una maceta de 3.5lt. Estamos en invierno en mi país con lo que mi principal problema en estos momentos es mi temperatura con el led apagado. El día viernes me llegara una manta calefactora con está debería solucionar este problema, por el momento les tengo un cable térmico el cual aporta calor a sus raíces por los demás solo queda esperar. Será acompañada con dos esquejes que tienen 4 semanas de diferencia con ella, estos tienen un seguimiento aparte. También hay un palto(aguacate) el cual esta por que hay espacio libre y es muy sensible a las bajas temperaturas. Cualquier recomendación es bien recibida! *Great White se mide en gramos.

I lost a week of updates because of busy life (nothing tragic ;) i will truly focus on catching up this week. So you can count on a new update in three days from today. The girls grow so fast under the excellent Mars Hydro TS 1000 that as of the day the pictures in the diary where taken (19 october) my 60x60 (2'x2") Mars hydro tent is a bit to small for them, so that day the pictures where taken I had to move them to my biger grow room ;) becouse the Blue Cheese was visibly suffering blockage to the TS1000 caused by her bigger Amnesia CBD sister. The powerful Mars Hydro TS 1000 is kept at 30 cm from the top of my plants is is running on full power. Thanks to Mars Hydro for supplying the necessary equipment for this grow.. 11/23 - Update 1 day early. Will make measurements and update accordingly tomorrow, as usual. I did a top off at 75% strength nutes. She is drinking 1.5 gallons per week (approximately). Trying to hold her ~850ppm @ 5.9pH. Her canopy is nice and open and bud-sites are stacking nicely. I'm hoping for some additional stretch over the next 7-10 days to give me an increased yield. Looking forward to seeing what pheno I ended up with. 11/24 - Updated stats. 850ppm, 9" above screen (so 15" total). Measured pH of 5.3, added 1ml GH pH UP to adjust; will check again later. Light adjusted for optimal canopy between both plants. I might end up re-orienting the lights in the other direction. The distance from the flowers varies between 12"-16" because some of them are stretching up more than others. I still think it only has a slight aroma, but she still has a ways to go. If she goes the full 13 weeks (~90 days), then harvest would be on 29 Dec (Happy Birthday!). Later on 11/24 - Uploaded videos of buds and roots. 11/28 - Went ahead and supercropped/HST the tallest stalk. i flipped them to flower. Noticed a bit of stretch which will probably continue for another two weeks. SD2 still looks light but i flipped them all anyway. Will see what happens

What a plant! Grew very well, buds fattened up nicely towards the end. Humidity went up to 60% from under 40% in the last day. 27.08g - main cola 62.21g - upper buds 39.56g - lower buds 5g - payment to friends for helping trim 😂 133.85g total

Repotted into 3 gallon this week.

Harvesting during week 12 flower, they took so long because the mistakes i made during the grow, dont forget when u make mistakes like mine they need longer to finish flower, usually +- 2 weeks Biggest mistakes were taking too long to transfer my ladys in the rdwc system (sort of rootbound?, check photo's) and burning my roots at week 3 of flower because of this they werent be able to take any nutrients in my opinion. Although this happened, im happy with the grow, it was my first rdwc grow and happy with the results!! I have tons of lil tops but its still good quality and they add up to a total of 580 grams!! ( 360G right plant and 220g from the plant on the left Definitely going for another round, this strain has alot of potential! So the final day has come. Day 115. Wow she took 4 months! I struggled a little bit with cutting her, I had to do it with a handsaw. She is a chunky girl! I partially trimmed the plant, mostly removing any fan leaf left and any big leaf without trichomes on them. I consider this more of a pre-cleaning and not a real trimming. That will be done after the plant has dried in about 2 weeks It was quite nice to document my grow. This was my 3rd one ever. I will continue with the grows and journaling because it really makes things sound clearer in my head.

Hi everyone ! Water change today, only tap water with adjusted PH. leaves color is now light green and some leaves are dying. Buds are solid and the smell is awesome. Last week of flush...Will harvest in the late week

******** Week 7 - January 20 to 26, 2020 (Days 43 to 49 from germination) She continuers to impress with her resilience as I have thrown a couple of curves at her.......but she continues to fatten and grow her buds😎 It was also not without learning though and thats what is so cool about growing this plant.......you always seem to leave a grow feeling like you could do even better next time and therefore challenging yourself to do better......and have dab while doing it😂 Not sure if I have a little different pheno but if I ran her again I would find a way to train her out wider. 5 gal pot diameter idea........maybe don’t fill with as much medium? Again, simply to keep light hitting all the lower sites. Where does the “XL” come into play as well I guess. Removed branches early on that were low. This grow, her narrow leaves have allowed a lot of light down below but it will be felt in a little less yield.....think the pH got a little high....or potassium excess......Terpinator too early? If left to a single cola she would be tall and have a huge cola I suspect......Gorilla Grow with the extension type of potential! She has loved the water feeds. Missed out bit by backing off of the CalMag a bit too much.....stems say deficiency that but leaves show toxicity? (Back to that you always feel you can do better thing😬) Got a little crazy with the PPM and saw tip burn in week 7. Gave a quick little flush with RO water and Sensyzime to clean up the roots of the salts. Didn’t get crazy though because it was just the top leaves burnt. Been building the medium up to this point so don’t want to wash it all away just yet. She didn’t claw down and over night appeared to still keep moving forward with bud growth. I did notice a small amount of hairs starting to turn red by weeks end......likely won’t be long before more are red and we go to flush👍 (Make it to end of week 8??) No rush though.......still lots of room to fatten up yet. In the week a head there will be the last push to get her medium in as good a shape as my skills will warrant. I want to get a good 10 + days of flush but her leaves are going to finish dark from what I can see. Run-off has been reasonable though so will keep fingers crossed 😄🤞 Little more detail.... Jan 20/20 - Day 43 - Drinking lots right now, close to 4L per day, so 2L plain water only in AM. 6.2pH,. - Feed in PM was light as well. Sensyzime @ 2ml and LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml only. 2L given with 75ppm. 5.9pH - She was given a good feeding yesterday. - Buds sites are stacking.......she is making me 😃 Jan 21/20 - Day 44 - AM - 3L with Dual Fual A&B @ 1.5ml/L. 725ppm and 5.9pH. - PM hit her again - full feeding minus Rhino Skin, Sensyzime and Vitrathrive and VeloKelp. 2.5L 1000ppm and 5.9pH. - Runoff - 1100ppm and 5.9pH. - top leaves were droopy so the extra feeding in the evening. Jan 22/20 - Day 45 - Backing off quantity a bit and down to 2L feed in PM. Her pot was still fairly heavy. - Mass & Terp @ 3ml, Rezin & LW8 & DF @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 0.5ml = 1300ppm - Very perky today....standing up all the way down the plant. Liked the feed yesterday. *******should have reduced this PPM feed......you want to push when you see potential😕 Jan 23/20 - Day 46 - Supplemental feeding only today. Happy so don't rock the boat :) - Sensyzime @ 2ml, LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml = 80ppm 6.1pH - 2L only today.....still some weight to the pot Jan 24/20 - Day 47 - Nute burn on Green Poison’s tips seen today. - Flushed through 7L of plain RO water pH to 5.95. - Runoff: 325ppm and 5.9pH. - Followed right away with 2L more water with Sensyzime @ 3ml/L - happy and praying in the evening......little surprising actually👊👌 Jan 25/20 - Day 48 - 2.5L of full strength feeding for this week. - ppm for that was 1275 so watered down to 1100ppm.....only need 1ml of base nutes at full strength to hit roughly 1,000ppm. - Runoff: 600ppm & 5.95pH - Swear her leaves are bigger, more mass today!! Still narrow and dark though. - she is 30” x 30” now Jan 26/20 - Day 49 - Feed was full strength one for the week, 1150ppm 6.1pH. - Removed some more leaves today. - guessing only another 1.5 weeks of feeding. Week 7 day 63

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through.
