@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. This is the start of week 5 ! Looking like i going to top Obi#1 soon shes getting a big thick canopy on her and shes's doing great ! Obi#2 is catching up slowly but surely she's going to be a big beautiful lady as well !! During week 13 the BANANA KRUMBLE (=Banana Punch x OG-Kush) from GREENHOUSE SEEDS is developing FANTASTICALLY! The buds have a nice PURPLE coloration and are COVERED IN TRICHOMES! They shine like little stars when I go in at night and make a foto with the flash on...ITS AMAZING to see. All main- and sidebranches have developed into HUGE COLAS, which are full with DANK buds. The bud structure is very compact...I LOVE IT! 😍The topbuds are now so heavy that the plants lean into the two layers of nets I put in to support them. I am glad I installed the trellies already during veg., because now the plants need them. The nice dark green color of the leaves and the fat buds show that the plants are VERY healthy and therefore the BIOTABs nutrients and the spectrum and intensity of the SANlight LEDs work perfectly for growing cannabis. After all they were both especially designed to do exactly that...lol The two Q4W-Gen.2 fixtures on the sides are running at 100% (=3 green lights on dimmer ON) and the Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center is running at 80% (=two green light on the dimmer ON). All three lamps are hung at 40 cm distance to the top of the plants. I water the plants with PURE TAB-WATER, since the BIOTABS nutrients are self-regulating. There is no need for measuring the ph- and EC-value of the water, since you do not need to adjust it. Its VERY CONVENIENT and saves me a lot of time! The smell of the 8 plants is VERY STRONG now and the aroma is WONDERFUL! It is sweet and fruity with a 'gassy' undertone from the OG-Kush parent. Until now this round goes VERY WELL and I am very satisfied with quality of the genetics from Greenhouse Seeds. The plants grow exactly as the description in their catalogue states, and that is rare thing nowadays! 👍😎

Start of Week 9 🙌 I plan to use fertilizer for bud growth from day 64 to day 70+... depending on when the harvest time occurs 😉😄👍 Started working with fertilizer today, every 2 days a mixture of 10ml per liter as long as the buds have not properly developed trichomes 😵 I hope this works 😵😲😱 Day 68 with fertilizer again

She's receiving only water and she is now showing a nice face. Colors go from bright green to grey ash almost black in some leaves. The smell is pungent cream with some gas or funk. Amazing 😍 Seedsman says on their website that she should take around 7 weeks of flower. That's right on the spot! I'll give her a week or a couple of days and harvest her.

D71. Week five of flower and the girls are simply doing their thing. I scouted the plants today and found thrips on the second girl. I was hoping the lacewings would have gotten them all by now, but no such luck. I'll give them a week before ordering another batch. For some reason, the thrips avoid the first girl. Visually, there's also a clear difference between the two girls, with the first girl being darker and having more buds. ------------------------------ D73. I brewed a short (6 hours) compost tea today consisting of worm castings, kelp meal, neem meal, humic and fulvic acid, rock dust, biochar, and molasses. After the brew, I added homemade Bokashi juice, which lowered the pH of the tea to 6.6. Each girl got 2.5 liters of tea (5% of pot volume.) I also did another light round of defoliation, down low on the plants. ------------------------------ D75. Each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with 5 ml of FFJ. The plants stretched SO MUCH after flipping them into flower that it's challenging for the light to penetrate the canopy, and it's pretty dark further down. I bought some LED grow light strips and installed them in the tent to provide additional side lighting. It's only 36 W of extra lighting, but I hope it will help to develop the numerous buds down low. I put the lights on the left side of the tent, around the first girl, since she has a lot more buds, but now that it looks like the concept works, I might get another set of lights for the right side of the tent. ------------------------------ D77. We've reached the end of the fifth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Ahem, almost all since I still have the thrips to contend with, BUT I just put a bunch of Cucumeris predatory mites in the tent, so the war rages on. A friend suggested adding white cloth below the plants to reflect more light toward the lower buds. Sounds plausible, but I didn't have any fabric, so I went all ghetto by simply putting strips of kitchen paper on top of the scrog net. Not the most fantastic reflector material ever, but it's what I had at hand. Plus, it's easy to work with and costs next to nothing. I doubt it will make a big difference, but even a slight increase is still an increase, and I could see a visible difference in the amount of light hitting the lower canopy. Finally, each plant got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.3, with FFJ and Bokashi Juice. ------------------------------

Let’s go day 43!!!! Week went real well , girls started preflower so sometime this week I will be switching up the nutrients for flowering! We are stable and looking super healthy! Can’t wait to see what these ladies do this week! Hope you all enjoy !

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

Last week, instead of 2 g of GHSC Powder Feeding, I only gave 1.5 g p l of substrate so that I can give you another 1 g per l of substrate next week so that it lasts until the end :-). It is developing very well and the buds are starting to grow :-). The week was poured 3 times with 1.1 l each time. once of them GHSC Enhancer was added :-).
