The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/17- The FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower is going into Week Eight from seed now and is looking like a champ! I started brewing a batch of Compost Tea today which should be ready in 24-36 hours, after which I'll give the Wedding Cheesecake FF a treat! 5/19- I'm almost certain that slugs are the culprits of all of the leaf chewing that has occurred. I only wish I had figured it out sooner but, on the bright side, this is a photoperiod and she has plenty of time to recover so she'll be just fine. Once I figured out that I was facing a slug attack, I immediately deployed my favorite defense against slugs and other little soft bodied buggers and their larvae... Diatomaceous Earth. This stuff is death to fungus gnat larvae, along with other pest larvae and will ruin a slugs day quickly! If you look at diatomaceous earth under magnification, it resembles shards of glass and acts as the same on the soft bodies of pests either repelling, or killing them! 5/21- The Wedding Cheesecake is putting out a ton of new growth and has maintained her color and vigor. I have been training her branches through the trellis net as they get long enough and will probably be installing a second net before too long! Our weather has dried out and warmed up so I'm watering daily with well water straight from the garden hose. 5/23- Eight weeks of growth for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and she just keeps looking better by the day... She's going to be a gorgeous plant! I cannot wait to see her in a month or so... can you? I didn't pay much attention to this grow - as I was mostly exhausted from all the previous autos harvests. So, to say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement - I'm still in total shock at the yield here. Trimming took about 4 hours almost non-stop :) Edit: 2nd plant harvested the next night - 396g (wet) :)

The week went really well and we are starting strong into week 3. The King's Juice Auto #1 is giving me some worries because she's a little bit small. Also, I saw an aphid on her. Never underestimate green light spectrum guys! Speaking of light... I raised the light intensity up to 30% (80W) and will keep doing it like this until I end up with a DLI of 40-45. With 19 hours of light that would be roughly 60-65% of light output. Interesting. From the side view, I think #2 is my favorite but overall it's still #3. Still unsure what kind of training I should do or if at all. Alright, I trained them and tried some different strategies. I topped #3 because she was by far the tallest one anyway, I "lollipopped" #1, so that she hopefully pushes more power into the upper part and I just tucked the fan leaves of #2 under the branches. At least as far as I could. #2 definitely has some lovely growing! She also has the first white hair coming out. Will try to get a photo of that later, hopefully with my new wifi microscope. Should be delivered tomorrow. Wasn't delivered but how she develops, I don't need the microscope. First set of white hairs is clearly visible! I'm exited to see how they continue to develop.

Tangerine Band is growing great. I switched her light times yesterday to flowering times. She got a little defoliation today to help with stretching light. Everything is looking good. Woche 9

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. This week went beautiful some lovely growth and looking healthy in the leaves nice and thick feeding at 400 PPM of expert nutrients line pH at 5.8 . She is doing very well and cannot wait for next week. Thank you for looking at my diary and always remember it's 420 somewhere 🌱👍

I just noticed my PH has been around 7, and a couple of the seed mothers are showing CAL/MAG deficiencies.. I use well water, and I don't have to adjust it in the summer, but around late fall the PH raises. I forgot to get good pics of the seed mothers, since I was focused on the STS formulas at the time, but these are the Pollen donors transforming into male flowers. 5 weeks old. The seed mothers are coming along nice with dime sized buds on them. I Topped them all at the 5th node, just before the cola, so the canopy would all be even under the lights. I just sprayed these reversed buds 1 time only on day 17, after the first STS treatments, with 50ppm of Gibberellic Acid (GA3) to stretch them out away from each other. Gibberellic Acid causes plants to stretch enormously, and PPM's of 50 to 100 can cause females to reverse to males.

3w2d my Persian is looking beautiful, gave her a haircut this morning and I must say.....I'm amazed at how she's doing 🙂8 weeks or so left 🤞🏻🤞🏻

It grew to within about 10 inches from the light, so 6-8 inches more than last week. I did some FIMing and trimmed off lower leaves this week. I'll check the growth this week and decide to switch the light schedule with the next week or so to 12-12.

Flipped a week ago. They are stretching nicely. I have a couple feet left in the tent. Should be good right? 🤔

27.2.25: Watermelon 🍉 and Purple Lemonade 💜🍋 are both far below the scrog net, they've definitely stopped stretching now. My LST on these was much worse than even just using the net. 😅 That was certainly a valuable takeaway. I'm sure Purple Lemonade 💜🍋 will be good. Watermelon 🍉 was so stunted. It's not a tall strain, usually either, but nevertheless, the buds there are looking very frosty and are very, very sticky! 😅 Should be a good smoke, eventually, 🤗 just won't be much to bag unfortunately.

Yay! Finally they get space in the bigger grow room, been waiting for weeks. The few mother's that were still flowering were able to fit into the tent. Many of the seedlings were ready for transplant so I made room for them in the clone closet as well.

Week 14 in the books and all is going well. She continues to put on weight and density and smells absolutely amazing. A kind of earthy fruity aroma that I know will press into the excellent tasting rosin dabs. I've given what may be her last feeding and will start checking trichs to gauge how much longer she has left. I've done some light defoliation this week to promote light penetration and am very surprised how even the lower nugs seems to be fattening up into something impressive. A good thing since I didnt really lollipop her. Seedsman genetics really are nothing to turn your nose up at. I'm thoroughly impressed and have no complaints with this how this run has gone. I also have to acknowledge the switch to organic as a huge step forward in dialing in my grow. I just couldnt seem to get nutrients right with mineral based but have had no issues with any of my girls since switching ti BioBizz. Top notch stuff, I must say. I'm hoping we are nearing the end of this run as I cant wait to get her curing and pressed into something I can dab on as we roll into summer still in lock-down mode.
