Went a little crazy on the nutes this week so had to flush her out. Shes bounced back now so hoping it doesnt have any effect on the end product. Very easy to grow. No where near as bushy as my other plants so I'm not having to do any defoliation at all. She just keeps soldiering on. Looking forward to the next few weeks of flower.

Started on Growdiaries at week 7 of flower. Back at the start there were four plants. Two were feminized and the other two turned out male. Unfortunate because those were the two Scooby Snacks. Actually the showcase plant. Playing the odds didn't work out for me this time. :) Two remaining plants started off at large size difference. Liberty Haze was almost twice the height of the Super Skunk. Used LST early and topping late in veg to control the canopy. Overall I got them to a pretty close height. The combination of the lolipopping and SOG produced some monster buds. Of course genetics helped but they were much larger than previous grows. The tent and the environment stayed nice and consistent throughout the grow. No unexpected incidents other then the two male Scooby Snacks. Used an updated Heavy 16 feeding schedule which seem to make the girls pretty happy. They both have been chopped and are hanging for 7 days-ish. I will take some pictures and give a taste review then. Sorry the pictures and video are so poor.

GDP 2 IS 18.5 INCHESS TALL. #2 IS IN A 3 GALLON POT, I THINK THATS WHY SHE IS SO MUCH SMALLER. COULD ALSO JUST BE GENETICS. DAY 43. DAY 44: EACH PLANT HAS STRETCHED ANOTHER INCH. GDP 1 IS 28.5 AND GDP 2 IS JUST UNDER 20 INCHES TALL. NOT TOO BAD. LETS SEE IF THEY STRETCH ANYMORE. ITS SLOWED OVER THE PAST COUPLE DAYS FOR SURE. DAY 45: ADDED ENHANCEMENT PUCKS FOR FLOWER. 1 PHOTO RED FLOWER BOOSTER. 1 UVA TRICHOME BOOSTER. DAY 48: GDP 1 IS 30IN TALL TODAY. GDP 2 IS 20.5 INCHES TALL. BOTH PLANTS APPEAR HAPPY AND HEALTHY. LEAVING THE UVA TRICH BOOSTER LIGHT ON FOR THREE HOURS AT A TIME. DAY 49: GDP 1 STILL 30IN TALL. GDP 2 CLOSER TO 21 INCHES BUT NOT QUITE THERE.

Week 10: I loved growing this strain, it smelled so fruity while the buds were on the plant. Towards the end of flowering the buds looked sugar dipped as described on the website. The sap from inside the stems smells like skittles and sugar lol which was a nice surprise! Most pistils are Amber so idk what the THC/CBD ratios are going to be. Il give an estimate once buds are cured for 2 weeks or so! So I’ve managed to get some street weed to compare alongside my own weed and I’ve added the pictures to the harvest so you guys can see them. I tried to pick the best street weed from about 4 varieties so here we go... The street weed is called Wedding Cake, my weed is obviously Smoothie and I suppose what I want to know is how the street weed looks, does it look healthy? Any guesses as to how it was dried or cured if even? The first noticeable thing is that the street weed stems are huge and the sugar leaves seem to be left on the plant to dry too. Although I did leave sugar leaves on this time I feel that it’s not very professional. I have smoked a joint of the wedding cake and it’s not all that great, feel a bit sedated/couch locked but not high or happy if you know what I mean :) but yeah please let me know what you think in the comments :) Curing Update: (1) Been curing for a week and buds are definitely smoking much better now, the taste and burn still isn’t amazing as it needs a few more weeks curing but it’s unique and exotic. It’s very strong when it comes to THC, because it still needs further curing you could smoke a whole joint and think damn that’s still too fresh to get me blazed. By the end of the joint you would be struggling to keep a conversation or stand up, Stoned eyes that even eye drops won’t cure :’D and it’s also a real head high in my opinion, audio/visuals definitely enhanced too, everything is extremely bright, sharp and sounds great! I don’t really care about time of day smoke as i could need something stronger at different times for pain etc but this is definitely a Nighttime smoke, it hits so hard that the best thing you can do is put on some music and close your eyes or watch a movie. An amazing strain for zoning out entirely into some chill music and if you need weed to deal with strong physical or mental pain or sleep problems then I would recommend giving this a go as so far it has been a lifesaver for me. Curing Update: (2) So I think the buds have been curing for just over 2 weeks now and they are looking great and smoking pretty well too. A few more days drying wouldn’t have hurt them but I’m not worried as my Blue Cheese and Pineapple Express harvests are just around the corner! I added some lovely photos and a video to show you guys how it looks And I’m just about to blaze up a joint from the last photo and tell you all how it smokes too... (Lights up joint) Slightly damp on lighting it up although it burns near perfect. Instant hit on the back of the throat with smooth/mango flavors. I feel a bit dizzy quite quickly and want to sit down and listen to music after a few tokes followed by a relaxed or mellow feeling. I’m about halfway through the joint now and I’m pretty stoned. Definitely sweet and smooth like blueberry also sherbet sweet like mango! I’m almost finished my joint now and I suppose to sum up I’d say that it’s much like the blueberry smoothness you expect mixed with the strength from a well grown mango. I felt that the effects are great if your in a nice comfortable setting, get relaxed, be creative, watch a movie or even get ready to sleep. I would avoid anything that requires a lot of effort. Personally I’ve had minimal problems with getting to sleep and with anxiety while taking this throughout the day and would highly recommend it! It’s the best thing I’ve grown so far :) Il leave a final review on the buds in 2 weeks, until then take care and happy growing! Curing Update (3) - 05/03/20 So I’ve finished the smoothie buds and I have to say they were great. The only negative was it’s my first time drying buds with trim and they could have done with a little longer drying. I made some canna butter from 3G of trim and 2.25g of bud. I made ginger cupcakes with salted caramel icing. You guys can see it cause I added a photo. I can only eat 2 per day with a heavy tolerance - sedative cupcakes hahah. The girls got their mid flower feeding gave each box about a half cup of Gia green bloom and a few tablespoons of terp, tea bloom, as well as 3 cups of build a flower top dress watered in with recharge and a little bit of Neptunes harvest. The girls are starting to throw some sense getting some fruity terps could just be the runts layer cake I have in the back she’s so strong but the girls are growing. I’m gonna do a tea tomorrow and then sit back and watch these girls stack.

Huge signs of progress this week! The smell has come in strong as well as the nice fat crystal flowers starting to plump up, Definitely a tall growing strain but all signs are pointing towards the yield being of a good quality! Have ordered a USB loupe that will be arriving tomorrow as the current is too hard for photos!

This week I found fungus gnats I added sticky boards and mosquito bits. A small amount of fading on oldest leaves. I did a small defoliation of the yellow fan leaves. I added bone meal to the top layer of soil and worked it in. Water at 6.5.

Day 62 even though she is early in flower she is showing some serious resin. Lots of trichomes. Smell is strong and sweet. I can't wait for this one.

the buds are getting thicker and the odour more intense. it's my first almost buds and i'm really impressed by her performace. she's currently still getting biobizz top-max and she seems to like that and lots of sun. :)

So I'm on holiday at the mo. My friend is house sitting (plant sitting) and has sent me a few photos to keep me happy. Not the best quality as over exposed, so I'll upload some better ones when I'm home on Sunday. Worth noting that the light yellowing of the leaves is a result of the over exposure and not a dying plant lol. Looks like good progress. No close ups to see if it's flowering unfortunately, but it's definitely still growing in stature. A follower noticed some leaves clawing at the top of the plant, but it hasn't got any worse in the last week and I haven't actually given it any additional nutes, so fingers crossed I don't have nitrogen toxicity. Gave some Biosyss last week, hoping that it has provided an optimum environment I didn't use LST and wondering whether that's going to mean a lesser yield. Update: asked a question and found that not too late to LST so going to start that Monday when back from hols. Updated with better pictures 👌🏻 Any thoughts? I'm back from holiday tomorrow and planning on starting a feeding schedule of biogrow, bio bloom and topmax to maximise yield 👌🏻 10/10/21 - Back from holidays and have uploaded new pictures. Lots of pistels appearing now suggesting it is going into flowering. I have decided to go ahead and LST despite the stress it might cause. I figured with it being a hardy strain that it may tolerate it, and the benefits (if it works) would make it worth the risk. 11/10/21 - Plants have coped really well with the nutrients. Checked pH today and sitting at around 6 which is ideal. Humidity fluctuates a little. Between 45% and 65%. If keeps going high then I'll put a dehumidifier in. Buds starting to form/flower now. Exciting times
