White Widow – Week 3 Flower | 12-12 From Seed 🌸❄️ Cycle: 12/12 (sometimes 11/13) from seed Stage: Flowering – Week 3 Feeding: Aptus + Plagron + All-in-One Liquid ⸻ Full Flower Mode Our White Widow has fully embraced her flowering stage. This week marks her third week in flower, and she’s already showing beautiful bud formation from top to bottom. Despite her compact size, she’s filling in evenly and with excellent structure. What really stands out is the early frost. Resin glands are already visible, sparkling under the light. For such a modest-sized plant, her energy is clearly going into dense flowers and resin production, not stretch. She’s showing her true White Widow heritage, compact, resin-heavy, and vigorous. ⸻ Nutritional Strategy This week, her feeding remains consistent with the established recipe: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation – 1 ml/L each But we’ve added something new: • All-in-One Liquid 🌱 This addition is meant to give her a balanced nutrient push during this critical phase. By Week 3, plants are transitioning from bud set into flower bulking, and the All-in-One helps provide extra micronutrients and macros that might not be fully covered by the base mix. The goal is to give her everything she needs for flower development, without overloading her. We’ll be watching closely to see how she reacts, but so far, she’s thriving. ⸻ What’s Happening Now At this stage, we see: • Bud stacking beginning across multiple sites. • Resin production kicking in early, with noticeable frost. • Minimal stretch, as she stays compact and focuses on density. • Healthy leaf expression, still a deep, vibrant green. This week is often called the “foundation of flower.” The plant sets the stage now for how heavy, dense, and resinous the later weeks will be. If nutrition and environment stay on track, we can expect these bud sites to start bulking steadily over the next 2–3 weeks. ⸻ What to Expect (and What Not To) ✅ Expect: • Rapid increase in bud density. • More trichome development, the frost we see now is just the beginning. • Aroma starting to intensify as terpenes begin expressing. ❌ Don’t expect: • Major vertical growth, her stretch is over, and she’ll remain compact. • Early harvest, White Widow typically flowers for at least 8–10 weeks. ⸻ Educational Note – Why Early Frost Matters Trichome production this early is a good indicator of plant health and genetic quality. Resin glands serve as protection for the plant against heat, light, and pests, so seeing frost at Week 3 tells us she’s thriving under the current conditions and that her genetics are naturally resin-heavy. For growers, this means a higher chance of strong aroma, flavor, and potency later on. ⸻ A Quick Recap of the Journey • Germination: Not an easy start — mistakes were made, but this White Widow was the survivor. • Veg: Compact growth under 12/12 from seed, slower to show flowers, but structurally beautiful. • Flowering: Took her time to enter full flower mode, but now she’s moving fast and strong. She’s the perfect example of how patience, careful nutrition, and trust in the genetics pays off. ⸻ Shoutouts & Gratitude 🙏 🌱 Zamnesia – for the legendary White Widow genetics 💧 Aptus Holland – for reliable, precision nutrition 🌸 Plagron – for flower enhancers that push her into full bloom 💡 ThinkGrow & Future of Grow – for the light power and spectrum balance 🧠 TrolMaster – for stable and adaptive control of the grow environment And most of all — thank you to everyone following along this diary. Your time, support, and interest in this journey mean everything. This isn’t just a grow log, it’s a story we’re writing together. ⸻ 📸 This week’s gallery includes: • Close-ups of bud development and trichomes ❄️ • Studio shots highlighting her compact beauty • Room updates with environmental stability Next Week Goals & Forecast 🔮 As we move into Week 4 of flower, here’s what we’ll be watching for: • Bud Bulking – Flowers should begin to thicken, with calyxes swelling and pistils multiplying. • Resin Expansion – Expect a noticeable increase in trichome coverage, making her sparkle even more under the lights. • Aroma Kickoff – White Widow is famous for her pungent, earthy-spicy scent. We should start catching stronger whiffs this week. • Nutritional Balance Check – With All-in-One Liquid added, we’ll be observing closely for any signs of overfeeding or lockout, though so far she’s responding beautifully. • Environmental Consistency – The new AC unit is stabilizing temps and humidity — a perfect setup for flower development. Holding VPD steady will be key. ❌ What we don’t expect yet: • No real ripening signs (amber trichomes or fading leaves) — it’s still too early. • No heavy weight yet — the bulking comes between Weeks 4–7. This next stage is often described as the “early swell” phase. It’s where flowers go from just “forming” into recognizable buds with weight, density, and stickiness. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Started to harvest buds from the strawberry banana so that it could move to an area with lower lights due to the main breaking a few weeks ago. The other plant Tropicana Cookies Purple is stacking flower like crazy. Dare I say near forearm size bud at harvest keeping my fingers crossed.

I made some kind of homemade provisional cage this weekend, following your advices. I used optic fiber, net, and bambu sticks, that i had in my home. I know is not the best in the world, but i was seeking utility and low cost. Ms Black Domina progresses well, but as my FIRST GROW i am doubting when she will finish,(I thought about not giving her nutrients last 2 weeks, but is hard for me to know when to stop giving more) I WILL APPRECIATE ALL ADVICE :) Nutrients same as last week, Sugar Royal 2ml/l 1 time per week and BioBloom 4ml/l 1 of 2 irrigations. As insecticide i use a mix made by me, 3 ciggaretes per litre and flush 1 time per week or so.

Hello fellow grower Week 3, when taking the pictures and comparing from only 7 days ago, I said to myself it’s unbelievable... Look the development in just a week. The Mars Hydro FC6500 is absolutely remarkable. It’s like growing under the sunlight in a controlled environment ! _________________________________________________ Barney’s Farm genetics is no bullshit, vigorous and resilient, they have exploded during this week. Transplanting last week was done in time to keep the growing rate at maximum. _________________________________________________ Last week transplanting using Cellmax BIO RootBooster did a great job. I can already see some tips of the roots coming out from the drain holes of the pot. _________________________________________________ No water during the week, no need. Just a nice story about the Dutch Golden age, 17th century. World is round since not so long, the Dutchmen are all over the globe on board of their galleon across the seas. Imagine a crew of sparrow full of tattoos with sharp teeth. On board, in a chest, well kept in a dry place, there’s some Cannabis seeds .... 😊 How they were able to navigate so far and so long ? Because they were able to repair the ropes in case of a wreck growing the seeds to make hemp quickly and Cannabis seeds holds enough protein... Stay tuned folks, it’s growing crazy 😝

Hello Diary. We have reached the sixth week of flowering, soon their roommate Fat Banana is leaving the "Farm", she is ready for the harvest. 😉 Both Haze Berry will have to wait another week for sure, then we will see what the state of terpenes is. 😏 Haze Berry has grown beautiful, full of huge flowers that cover entire branches. This is likely to be a record holder so far on “my little farm”. 💪 At the end of the week I did a defoliation, I took off all the bigger leaves to give them better airiness in those last days and to give the flowers a little more energy. 💪 Watering is at this stage every three days, I have stopped adding nutrients and watering with water to which I have previously regulated p.H. between 6.2 and 6.5. To lower the p.H. i use Plagron's Lemon Kick. The temperature and humidity in the Box are great, almost ideal for this phase. 👌 Let’s take a look at what this week looked like. 21/11/2020 - Day 58. Watering. p.H of water I regulated to 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 38% humidity. 24/11/2020 - Day 61. Watering. Same procedure as three days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.1 degrees and 40% humidity. 26/11/2020 - Day 63. Photography and defoliation. As I wrote earlier, I removed all the larger leaves for better airflow and to give the flowers a little more energy. We’re saying goodbye to Fat Banana soon so next week the Haze Berries are alone on the “farm”. See you soon.

✋Wk 5: Growing like a weed, and max power. 👉2-8 Day 38 for the 3 gallon plant. The plant continues to show noticable growth every time I open the tent. The 1 gallon is 4 days behind total age wise, yet is physically one week ahead of the 3gallon. The pistols appeared 3 days ago on the 1 gallon 4 days ago. I haven't seen any on the 3 gallon yet, I anticipate them in the next 3-4 days. The 3 gallon trunk is getting stout and if the plant stays short I wont be doing much lolly popping and grow a nice little Christmas tree shaped plant. The 1 gallon has a very thick trunk and is actually two inches taller than the 3 gallon plant. Both plants are looking like they are more busy building branches than reaching for the lights, which is preferred, because I'm sure at least one of these plants will eventually challenge the height limits of the tent. I say that because I try to be prepared for the hard situations. What I hope for is they are 35-45" plants max. 👉The diary stats for nutrients on this page will be for the 3 gallon. I included a page from my fertigation log to see the difference in nutrient levels of EC.The 3 gallon plant has remained on the week 3 mix for the nutrients on the General Hydroponics drain to waste nutrient mix chart (late growth). The 1 gallon plant is on the week 4 mix (transition). I will switch 3 gallon to week 4 as soon as the first pistols appear. The 1 gallon will switch to week 5 in the next 2-3 days. The 3 gallon plant gets the EC of the upper end of the recommended nutrient strength. The 1 gallon gets the lowest (or just below) the low end of the recommended EC. THe week neither plant had EC run-off above 30+ of the inflow. Infact the run-off EC of the 3 gallon plant and the 1 gallon plant has been very stable and shows that the plants are really drinking it in! I use enough inflow volume to get 30% of the inflow (minimum), but sometimes I up it just a bit. 👉I have started the grow with the lights dimmed to 75%. 6 days ago I turned both lamps up to 100%. I try to maintain approximately 17" distance from lamp to plants. Both plants are the same height right now (the 1 gallon is in a shorter pot so its 2" taller). The lights have to be raised every 3-4 days now. The heat increased a little bit, but the outdoor temps have been in the low 30s so the overall temp in the tent is the same.

Many thanks to the FastBuds 42 team for sponsoring the seeds. It's going to be exciting, especially since this will be my first indoor grow and I've finally set up the grow tent after almost a year. The three ladies will have the same conditions, and I'm excited to see how the grow develops. Hey guys, everything that could go wrong did go wrong :-(... Amazon fucked up.... DHL fucked up, and the sellers fucked up too. 100 liters of potting soil still haven't been delivered after two attempts... First, a glass for a tealight arrived, and then on the second attempt, nothing at all came from a different seller on Amazon. Today, I drove almost 100 miles to buy soil from a grow shop. Today, after many mishaps, the grow tent test finally begins. I've never had so much bad luck before, and yesterday my internet provider also had an issue that wasn't fixed until this afternoon... fiber optics isn't as stable as I thought. I hope my bad luck is finally over, and I can enjoy watching the plants grow. Oh man, I absolutely don't need that anymore... greetings,..... 😩😱😨😵 Let´s start Day 0 .... finally 😊👍

The smell is insane and my carbon filter can’t handle it and wife is not happy. I am secretly happy. Plants are doing well. Water every 4 days or so. Just giving my last feeding at week 6… a little late. But just 1-2 tbsp of 284 power bloom from Gaia green and 1tsp of high P bat guano. Watering in kelp, cal mg, Herculean harvest… Going to be a decent harvest. 9 weeks or so from flip is what I expect. They are starting to flop over so I am lowering the trellis to catch some lower branches.

Well this was my second harvest with this strain. I have to say it's easy to grow, and very strong. I was surprised at how big she got after my last couple of grows. I really like it! I will attempt some fim on my next grow, I would like more large colas than just the huge one. She was a good plant. I have to remember to add cal-mag supplement on week 3 next run. Unfortunately I have to move next month and have to cancel my next run as I don't want to move plants. You can really see the 'White' part of this White Widow in the video at the end! I want to thank you fellow growers for all your help. I really appreciate it!! You guys and gals are my support network. Thank you for being here for me. I will give smoke report and update flavors and dry weight once these buds are done drying. Popcorn bowl was not included in wet weight. I hope by my detailed watering and nutrients notes it will help someone with their grow. Good luck and happy growing!! Update: second smoke report, nearly drank the bong water instead of my beer while watching Hollaback girl with Gwen Stafani. Yeah, it's good. ;)

Added the first screen into the tent. Decided to kick Big Mumma out because she just wasn't growing any taller and the other plants were really over growing her. For the new setup I used kitty litter trays and mesh to sit the plants on - each plant gets its own tray so I can track runoff EC individually and I cut little flaps in the mesh so I can wet vac the runoff. With this setup I shouldn't need to move the plants out of the tent until harvest. For the scrog I just tied some builders rope around the poles of the tent and tied the trellis netting off with training wire. I've been manipulating the growth just to try and fill out the whole screen, I also gave them a good haircut because I plan on flipping them soon, don't want them to outgrow the tent.

Week 16 Happy Easter week. 4/9-15/23 Flushing, nights in the dark with cold feet. This is week 2 of flushing before the harvest. Sunday I flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. After flushing they were just put in the room not in the tent. I had an ocsellating fan moving on a medium speed. Moved to the garage for the night. Tuesday flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. After flushing they were just put in the room not in the tent. I had an ocsellating fan moving on a medium speed. Moved to the garage for the night. FOUND BUGS ON PURPLE CHILL. Harvest is moved to this weekend rather than next Tuesday as planned. Wednesday all three plants were put in the dark room put ice on top of the pot. No further flushing will be done. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Lights remained off Temp 73. Rh 71% when I opened the dark room. The dark room has black out curtains, however there is l8ght exposure around the edge of the curtain. Saturday afternoon photos taken pre cut, tricomes photographed as best I could. Additional hands are Required as I must take 50 pictures only to get 5 acceptable ones. Cut from the base of her stem , weighed and hung in the tent in the dark with a small fan . The drying has begun. Wet harvest weight 253 grams 8.9oz. April 15-19 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 73-77f Rh 49-74. April 20 - 22 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 71-77f Rh 50-80. The higher humidity is a result of turning the home a/c off during the night. Since its drying time and not much to say. I decided to locate photos of the same plant at day 20 of flower when I did the last heavy defoliation and side by side comparison to the day of harvest. I don't know if this is a normal harvest or small yield for OG Kush. See last pic in week 16. She will be drying for 2 weeks or so. I have been checking the stem stiffness or bendiness since the humidity fluctuates. It does not snap yet.

First plant got a bunch of lockouts from the feed so I did an emergency flush..don't wanna mess with it anymore or cause nutrient burn on plant #2 so just water for the upcoming week. Will probably skip Cha Ching all together...not sure yet. Doesn't seem to me that either plant even needs it. Growing super frosty thoooo! Buds filling out I doubt they will get much thicker but I don't care...pretty exciting to watch them grow into their final form. I think these will be my best plants grown to date!!! :) Did a good amount of defoliation to get more light to the lower buds. Also cracked open my Mother Earth Coco Coir block for my next two grows and topped off these 5 gallon pots..the plants definitely seemed happier with that fresh layer added! Getting closer to the finish line!!

July 27: staring week 7 and she seems to be preflowering but I’m going to force flower this auto by sticking it in the dark garage with my photoperiod plants. The change to 12 h of darkness for a couple weeks should kick it into flowering mode. I’ve seen a few growers commenting that their Auto Overdose wasn’t auto flowering and I don’t want to wait any longer to find out. It’s the end of July and things need to be flowering by now to finish in time before winter. The stem I broke a few days ago is showing signs of life and looks like it will more or less recover. Update: Changed my mind and removed stem as it was slowing overall growth. Cut the loss and move forward. C’est La vie, etc. July 28: plant has an okay shape considering I broke a stem. Nice lower branches came up after the plant was topped. Looks promising. July 31: looking good. Removed a single large fan leaf at the top that was shading too many bud sites.
