Fifth week completed. They are showing more and more deficiencies, so I starded feeding more. I also got Bluelab soil pH meter - currently they are around 6.2 - not bad - week ago runoff was adound 5 so I was worried - but 2 waterings of pH 7.2 did the trick. They are back on track. I hope they will eat fast enough to save more leaves till the end - I want to keep them 3 or 4 more weeks. Buds are bulking nicely - they get fatter by the day. And they smell amazing - even with my horrid temperatures - the heat wave is real - AC does not help much though without AC it would be like 40*C in the tent 😵 Till next week! ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2205 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged which usually takes roughly 24 hours. These seeds however didn't follow the rules and took their fine time to pop out their tap roots. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened ...waiting on the #2. 🧐 I was concerned that one of the seeds may fail as she took so long to germinate so I soaked two more as an insurance policy. Naturally, BOTH of the second set of seeds popped their tap roots within 24 hours. One of the first round seeds failed to germinate which left me with three viable seeds, one in a pellet already and two showing tap roots. I planted both of the second round seeds into the same peat pellet that I had previously soaked. 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #1 FBT #2205 and I anticipate seeing one or both of the second round poking their heads out real soon! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 4g Gronest pot. The second round seeds finally made an appearance and I decided to yank the smaller of the two keeping me from having to stress them when I separated them.... this will be Day One for the #2! She looks really healthy and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! 2/1 - 2/4: Flushed both MPP's on Monday and put the skinnier one in the dark Thursday night. Tomorrow is the end of the line for her. I'll probably let the big fat one go til next weekend. Watered the fat girl Friday. 2/8: The little one is hanging to dry now, and the bigger one is just getting water + liquid soil

Doing nicely quite pungent, the buds are bulking up and some of the pistols are turning amber she's starting to mature !!!!

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly

Day 4 - light LST training. This window is very small to Train correctly and not lost any main stems..the knuckle tends to solidify quite quickly and begins to swell if feed properly...making bending by the knuckle risky

11/20 I did quite a bit of feeding last week and her top is getting very heavy. I’m having trouble keeping them standing up. I was going to take down one branch but I think it would cause the other branches to fall so I’m just gonna try and keep balancing them maybe for another week then I’m gonna cut them down. I have three more and another tent. I’m flowering them at between 86 and 90 W with the Mars Hydro lighting seems to do the trick I’ve had the same plant growing I think for over a year now I keep taking clones and then I take another clone. This is the first time I’ve attempted to do that and now I can see. I’m glad that I did because I made up for seeds that I managed to kill along the way. I always blame the seed company and then I find out a year later that it was something I did so I try not to complain too much about that. 11/21 I took down one of the branches yesterday she was giving me trouble. I sent a message to the other ones. I think it helped they really starting to produce now. They’re really starting to fill in now. I could take them down but I want to keep them going maybe two weeks as long as you’re still bulking up I want to keep going and I have one branch that will probably dry down to, a little more than half an ounce. It’s not really big, but it’s pretty nice and considering these were just clones these are branches. If you look early in my other diary, they work great. They’re looking a little crispy from a little too much nutrient I’m gonna give them just some plain water tomorrow and start backing way off on all nutrients. I think they have about another two weeks to go maximum. They’re really filling in nicely if I don’t stress them out they fill-in really good. Should probably get at least a dry ounce off of each of these branches. 11/22/23 I dried one of the branches didn’t get a lot. It’s very nice densely packed. Smells good it’s enough for me. 11/25 Saturday morning. I took a branch this morning. I have two on one plant and three on the other still going. I’ll keep them going if I can if they’re still growing I turned the light down to 89 I don’t really benefit from light that’s too bright toward the end of the grow it just melts the resin it just is not good for them and they seem to go just fine. I have another blackjack clone in another tent that I am going to try and do the whole grow at 93 W with this light so far it’s going just great. I accidentally left it there and if I can do that and not stress it, I might get better plants at lower wattage. 11/26 these three blackjack clones are growing perfectly at 93 W. I can’t believe it. No sign of stress of any kind so I’m gonna keep it at this wattage. Also it keeps the temperature super low. I have the driver outside the tent so it doesn’t make that much difference and one of the pots I didn’t fill up with quite as much soil probably 2 gallons and they still are doing good so blackjacks are very fun to experiment with and it’s a great smoke I have one of the branches drying right now and she seems to get more resins as she’s drying it’s incredible. I have two that are flowering that are just about ready. I overdid the fertilizer so I’m going to do a clean today with the general hydroponics. I got a gallon of the flora clean. I’m going to leave them at 89 W for the rest of the grow that should be good enough. It’s great that I can do this at 89 W. I use the general hydroponics Flora, clean and watered both of them. I did 10 mL per gallon and I did about a gallon and a half. There was a lot of runoff. It was really gross. I have bugs in the soil. I sprayed the bag and the soil for bugs.

One plant "lost" to budrot, luckily the only one which was 5 days older than all other 3. Budrot on 3 main buds, very early stages, noticed rather quickly as I'm a very alert person with stuff like this. Lost around 10% of infected and healthy material, and harvested early on around day 73. I lost around 2 weeks of weight gain & ripening with the early harvest, but I had to do it for the good of the other 3 plants. Infected plant was a Granite Haze F5, quick dry with wet trim to avoid more mold / rot. 5 days of drying at 20°C and 65% humidity, and light breeze of air. Final dry yield was 205g dry out of the second smallest autoflower here. Currently still in its curing stages, still a hay-ish smell to it because of the emergency dry, but I slowly get peppery notes, mixed with liqourice & ass. Yes it stinks. All other 3 plants are good so far, but this week doesn't have lots of images.

Shout out to msnl for this one tho.. really wasn't sure about their shit but this batch got me believing again, overall pretty easy, had a little issue late in the game sort of my own fault this is my first time BK In Dirt in a long time and im just used to doing things a different now but an easy strain to grow with really good results. Ok completely my bad with this. Haven't been feeling great the past couple weeks and have really neglected these babies, among other things. But, I had a go in there yesterday and hopefully things shouldn't keep getting so bad. The buds are fattening up on both a lot, and considering what they've been through I think they look pretty damn good. A lot of burned tops, any suggestions what o should do with them? Seems a bit harsh to smoke. I've managed to wiggle them down a bit lower, hopefully he burning shouldn't get worse, but we'll see. Smells fantastic anyway. Definitely want to run these again a. It further from the light 👍👍👍

War eh nur ein Experiment, wie sich die Pflanzen bei 4 h direktem Sonnenlicht verhalten auf dem Balkon. Ertrag ist dem entsprechend gering & die Dichte der Blüte fehlt, sehr sehr Fluffig aber der Geruch/Geschmack erinnert an 2014er Vibes. Also Smoke Qualität ist super und die Wirkung sehr klar & clean. Werde die Sorte sicherlich nochmal im Zelt ausgrown.
