This girl is coming along fairly well. She is starting to put in a little weight now. I have been battling powdery mildew on this lady! She does not seem very resistant to it unfortunately. I will have to up my treatment regime a little bit I’m thinking. I may also take one other plant out of my greenhouse if I can squeeze it out to make a little more room. 😎🍿

Hi everyone 😁 Welcome back in another week update! Thank you all for this amazing support on this bananas journey💚💚💚 Uploading and updating each week content on daily bassis so please revisit this diary if week not over yet. So far all going great. Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤 Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week! Welcome! In this grow we have: 2x Platinum Wedding Crasher 2x Gelato 41 1x Sour OG 2x Lemon Kush Germination/Rooting - 14 Days 9/17/21 - The clones look good in solo cups of soil. We will transplant into 5 gallon pots in the grow tent after they fully root in the cups. 9/18/21 - Looks like the clones are doing well in soil! We are so excited to grow these out. The clones came from a very highly respected grower. 9/19/21 - No ugly growth. All clones look amazing! We upgraded the light to a Mars TSW 2000. 9/20/21 - They are looking good and most likely rooting throughout the cups. I’ll give them a little bit of water today. I want the roots to go looking for the water so I’ve kept them slightly dry. 9/21/21 - They look happy. I will let them just do their thing… We are waiting on our Mars TSW 2000 light to show up anyways. No roots visible from the drainage holes in the cups. 9/22/21 - Looking really healthy and growing nicely. I’m excited for them to fully root in the cups so we can transplant them into the tent. The Mars TSW 2000 should be here in the next few days. 9/23/21 - Looking so good! We can’t wait to get these under the Mars TSW 2000 in the tent. They smell and look great. 9/24/21 - The clones look really good except for one Sour OG. It wilted and died, roots did not take unfortunately. I have a Lemon Kush started from seed we will grow in place of the dead Sour OG. Today we got our Mars Hydro TSW 2000 light. We will be hanging it and updating with pics/videos. 9/25/21 - They look amazing. Lots of growth while rooting. 9/26/21 - So far so good. Watering when the cups get light in weight. In just a few days we will be transplanting. See the video for today, we hung the Mars Hydro TSW 2000! 9/27/21 - Watered them yesterday, they look healthy. The Lemon Kush isn’t a clone, it is from seed. It’s the smallest girl but it’ll perk up quickly. 9/28/21 - Transplant day!! The clones are looking really good and it’s time to transplant into the 4x4 under that Mars Hydro TSW 2000 at 50% intensity. Check out the pictures and videos from today!

What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!

Growing slowly but surely. I will update again in 2 weeks or 3 weeks. Not too much of a difference except for yellowing of some leaves. In two weeks hopefully trichomes will change color and I can switch to straight water with no nutrients.

01/19/2022 She was a he. And he will be used for some pollination. Not sure what both parents were, but growing nice, stem rubs stinky and definitely has fuzzy Melon smell. Kinda reminds me of Tangie and model glue. Hopefully a good breeder will hit some choice branches on Blue Matter F2 and test the offspring. If interested Fuzzy Mellon is Forbidden Fruit x Watermelon Zkittlez bred by Dying Breed Seeds & 3rd Gen Family. Which is good genetics imo. But the wild card is who is th daddy?... Jerry springer show lol According to leafly both parent are heavily on indica side so his stretch and node length points to a sativa daddy? I never seen an indica with such large internodal spacing. I know males will be stretching out more but still large compared to other males I've grown out. So hope you follow along to see how his offspring will develop, I will pollinate one branch of my favorite Blue Matter F2, and save some pollen for my Biscotti Skunk, Grape Skunk,and lemon og.
