Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. This week we had to go on a destination wedding and had to have friends house sit. Again 😔 I hate having to do that, but this time everything went very smoothly. We didnt lose any plants lol. Before we left I was able to get #2 transplanted in a 7x7 nursery pot. Man was she ready too! I've decided since I am only growing 2 Choc Mknt OGs that i will be training one(both high and low stress) and this plant(#2) I will be leaving completely alone to do her own thing 🤞 Watering has went smoothly this week. Both plants only wanting water once in this 7 day stretch. I think because the transplant soil was already very moist. #1 has rooted and already started taking off from her transplant last week. Tent update: Our ES300 by the green sunshine company arrived this week!!! I was able to get it I'll installed before leaving. So now in my Vivosun 2x4 tent I have 1 es300. I moved the viparspectra to my large flower tent. The Choc mint seem to absolutely love this light. I started it at 70% power(its a dimmable light fixture) and am slowly moving it up over the course of a week. Day 12: my friend reported great growth on #2!! So she is rooted as well and doing good. Also, the heat in my 2x4 is in the low 80° getting up to 85° even 90°(for a few minutes) I'm mostly running Sativas which love the heat, but I have noticed Choc Mint OG prefers it a little cooler. december 14th gave her a feed of about 6 cups of dechlorinated tap water phd to 6.4 with 1/2 tsp of veg nutes to 3 gallons and 4 2 tsps of calmag to 3 gallons of water. I thought she was initially getting a calmag deficiency but it was just her switching to flower and needing diff nutes ig? I also tested runoff for the first time which i should've done from the beginning but it came out at 6.3 ph december 17th 2021: gave her half a gallon of dechlorinated tap water phd to 6.4 with 1/2 tsp of veg nutes to each 3 gallons of water and 2 tsps of calmag to 3 gallons of water.

Flowering week 3. Everything is ok. I made a light defoliation.

Everyone is coming out gently. Needed to dig just a bit for some late ones, as I was suspecting, they were stocked under some lil pieces of wood that you can find in organic soils. Watering only once again, after 7 days since last watering, with some more RootBooster. Needing about 60 to 100 ml of water for each cup, till the drain comes out. Seedlings are about 30cm from the neon tubes, under a light airflow to avoid any looney growth. All the conditions are perfect and under control, technically it’s a nice spring weather in the room.

End of week 7 in bloom (photos and videos are from day 49) and things are going well so far. I have some yellow leaves in the buds, that i have to remove tomorrow. I water every 4 days and i topped up the pots with soil yesterday. Colas are getting thick and fat and for sure are tall! Depending on their position in the tent, colas are from 35 to 70 cm in heght. In terms of quantity, i think i have about 80-90 big colas in the 2,2 square meters tent so it is possible to achieve an outstanding harvest! We will see!

We are watching trichomes every day and it looks like it is almost ready so we are thinking of harvesting next week. It is already possible to see some amber trichomes. Unfortunately it seems that we are not going to harvest the expected amount, the buds were not very dense and fat, apparently the buds are just small leaves with trichomes.
