My favorite method to germinate seeds is the 'SERIOUS' method promoted by Serious Seeds. I have almost always a 100% success rate with. Check out the video above for the process. If you hang up the seeds inside a wet paper towel inside a plastic bag, the roots will grow out STRAIGHT instead of being curled when they lay on a plate. Make sure the tip of the seed (=pointy end) is facing downwards inside the bag, so they can open up and grow straight down towards the floor. This makes its easier to transplant the germinated seeds into soil. When you plant the seed make sure the top of the seedshell still peaks out of the soil..this make an easier start for your seedling. They will grow right out of the soil the next day.

This lady has gone through many changes this week.. Firstly I tightened the scrog net and she was stripped of her fan leaves and the lower future bud sites have reacted well to the light. She has grown immensely in the last 2 weeks and I have now stopped tucking her under the net. She is starting to shoot out her Pistils and beginning to form tricomes on her leaves. Exited too see what she does this coming week!!!! =D

26/09 Today, at the beginning of the second week of color, I nevertheless decided to remove a few unnecessary and interfering stakes. I also removed small shoots and some leaves that greatly interfered with the penetration of light to the shoots. I connected the problem with an overabundance of N with the fact that I have both AD components mixed. It turns out the formula 4 3 8, I think to remove a little Grow 1-0-4 component and then you will get an excellent compote for these bushes, I will also change the irrigation scheme, I will give 400 ml per day, instead of 800 in two days with formula 3-3-4 Even today I mixed a new compote with formula 3 3 4 , and added AD Grow just 1ml/1L and decided to add a little 5ml less AD Micro and AD Bloom . This will be her last week of Veg, my Autoflowers are finished and will free up some space one dry. I was going to finish her in the 2x4, but decided I will put her in my big tent and flower her with my Truffle Treats. I have other’s that need to be started to be able to take part in the 34 street Grow cup this year. Easy week overall, no issues, I decided to do a flush as the leaves were showing as dark green and shiny, which can be a sign of too much nitrogen being stored or used. Ran almost 5 gallons of PH ‘D water through her and left her for a several days, nothing of concern 😊 I did some defoliation and lolipopping of the lower branching. I also decided to to top multiple tops all at the same time. There will be lots of colas for this beauty . Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️💨

12/6 Week 16 The girls are slowly finishing waiting on more bud closure before flushing, trics are fine. May notice we dont so much flush as just remove nuets continuing 10-20% runoff and let the plant use up stores. 12/7 FF10 still has not closed up, not close, the 9 and 11 were pretty clearly done. These just wont stop so I wont mess with the nuets Not a lot of fade very slight 12/8 Slowing but still going 12/9 Putting FFT-11-1 on flush (front plant) this evening, she is there. At least a week 12/11 Putting FFT-11-2 into flush not because she is done but because if the buds get any bigger she is going to break. Triple caged her keep it from happening now.

As your can see plants One & Five are the quickest of the Pheno's, they received their last watering today & once they dry back 50% of todays water they'll be into 24-48 hours darkness before the chop. As for Plants Two & Four are they Longest running of the Pheno's they will likely receive another watering, & run another 7 days. Plant Three is the one i'm watching closest ! this plant is SHOWSTOPPING... Grape Candies Dipped in Gasoline floods the floor, the moment I open the tent.. This particular pheno may go 7 more days maybe not.. Its very close to the finish line either way... I'm Drooling. The most exciting part about starting to pull plants is the ability for my to take some better isolated Bud Shot photo's ! :)I wish I had the funds to keep upgrading my photography gear but its an expensive hobby...maybe ONE DAY lol!💪 The Boys Club saw a little bit of action this week as well.. a long over due hand job for the jizz monster. This week we had to go on a destination wedding and had to have friends house sit. Again 😔 I hate having to do that, but this time everything went very smoothly. We didnt lose any plants lol. Before we left I was able to get #2 transplanted in a 7x7 nursery pot. Man was she ready too! I've decided since I am only growing 2 Choc Mknt OGs that i will be training one(both high and low stress) and this plant(#2) I will be leaving completely alone to do her own thing 🤞 Watering has went smoothly this week. Both plants only wanting water once in this 7 day stretch. I think because the transplant soil was already very moist. #1 has rooted and already started taking off from her transplant last week. Tent update: Our ES300 by the green sunshine company arrived this week!!! I was able to get it I'll installed before leaving. So now in my Vivosun 2x4 tent I have 1 es300. I moved the viparspectra to my large flower tent. The Choc mint seem to absolutely love this light. I started it at 70% power(its a dimmable light fixture) and am slowly moving it up over the course of a week. Day 12: my friend reported great growth on #2!! So she is rooted as well and doing good. Also, the heat in my 2x4 is in the low 80° getting up to 85° even 90°(for a few minutes) I'm mostly running Sativas which love the heat, but I have noticed Choc Mint OG prefers it a little cooler. June 12, 2020 Week 7 I added some manure to all the pots. 2 of the plants aren’t growing much so Im leaving them to grow, and see what happens. Plants were a bit too wet from previous thunderstorms, now waiting for them to dry out so I can try and bring their ph down. Thank you and happy grow🌱 June 14, 2020 Plants started to dry out so we added ph down water and authentik Veg nutrients 4-3-2 by nutri+. Ph’s mix equivalence was around 5.8 So we brought the ph up to +/- 6.4 For ph Up we used sodium bicarbonate(baking soda). And used 1 litre of water per pot. Thanks happy grow!!!

May 31st - Day 104 : I had to take two babies out because of the lack of space in the tent. Didn’t realize they would grow that much.. So I planted them outside and will let them do their thing as I didn’t have the heart to kill them. But besides that, thriving.

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows.
