These little ladies have been moved to their fabric pots and so far seem to be doing well. We had an issue with damping off and unfortunately lost some others. We look forward to a nice easy grow before the outdoor fun begins, hopefully it grows without a hitch!

Diciamo che le ragazze dovevano tutte e due arrivare a maturazione, invece io magari stupidamente (anzi sicuramente) ho raccolto due settimane prima la ragazza alimentata con RQS organico fertilizzante,, solo che era in una posizione scomoda, bloccata dalla mia rete per fare scrog, che l ha molto penalizzata e soprattutto l aria da quale parti rimaneva sempre spesso umida e la ragazza ne ha sempre risentito da quando ha iniziato a fiorire, mentre l altra aha continuato il suo sviluppo diventando uno "scherzo della natura *🤣 per grossezza e densità delle cime e delle foglie ritorte accanto piene di resina e sode come fossero cime loro stesse!! 😺 Anche se cmq mi rendo conto che avrei potuto avere risultati migliori con le potenzialità che ho acquisto nel tempo, e spero nella prossima edizione indoor di dare il meglio di me stesso e dimostrare che posso essere all altezza in un paese contrario alla legalizzazione riesco a produrre un prodotto di qualità che ormai sono 3/4 anni mi permette di non dover entrate in contatto con criminalità organizzata per avere due canne da fumare... Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. It was a lot of work to collect two of these young ladies, many leaves, many sugar leaves to separate for the extractions. The product is very pleasant, this plant is very well balanced. She was taken down 09/02/24 She dried for 9 days at what was hoped to had been around 60/60 but the temperature was between 72 up to 80 at one point, with the average being around 76. This was not ideal, and made drying faster than I had hoped. Nonetheless, seems as though she turned out fine. I was worried about the smell not being ideal etc. Alls good. Phew. I’ve trimmed her up and she’s in jars now to cure. Humidity is sitting at 59. Trimming her was pretty easy.. and I hate to trim. She was much more bud than leaf thankfully. Buds are good sized, dense, sticky, and frosty. As for now, not getting any smells of bananas lol. I guess maybe the cure could change that. Guess we’ll see. Will finish smoke report after some curing/smoking

Questa terza settimana ho dato il kit completo di nutrienti per le piante, purtroppo sono un po’ in ritardo con i tempi ma adesso la crescita andrà nel modo giusto. Ho cambiato l’acqua ed aggiunto ottimi prodotti Americani della linea Advanced per dare da magiare hai biscotti. Mi aspetto adesso una crescita molto più intensa. Finalmente le radici stanno uscendo dai loro vasi è sono attualmente immerse per 1/3 in acqua.

This lil lady is officially flowering. Half way through the week she started growing pistils all over. Switched the lights to 12:12 half way through the week. She recovered from the LST of tying down her top. Room has averaged 85° F / 40% RH with a high of 89° F Ordered larger oscilating fan hoping to get the heat down a bit. Been dealing with fungus gnats in some other plants in the house so I sprinkled ceylon cinnamon on top of the soil, to act as an organic fungicide, and sprayed her down with neem oil as a pest prevention. 💧 Watered: Tuesday May 5, 2020 with 4:1 Water to Hydrogen Peroxide. Installed 6in oscilating fan blowing at the light. Heat is still too high. ~85° average Raised light to 18in above canopy. Shes responding well to the LST and several nodes below the top have now started showing noticible growth.

7/21/21: WEEK 6!!!!! She's looking pretty good and I'm super impressed with how well she has handled the heat, she's doing way better than some sativas we've grown indoors during summer..I think she'll start plumping up this week..we cut growth solution roughly a week ago but she's still pretty dark, I imagine there's a bunch in her media to use up yet.. we noticed a split starting down her main stem so we've released some pressureon the ties and wrappeda plant tie around the base temporarily... we'll update again midweek, thanks for reading and happy growing friends! 🐱❤️💡🌱 7/23/21: hairline split down the main stem has healed already, that's good news... buds are gradually starting to fatten up.. we're still around 85-90f during the day so we may consider reversing our light schedule to run at night but this is something we would do after the GDP is harvested, the other 3 plants in the flower tent are in week 3 and week 1 respectively and would probably deal with the light disruption a little better (just a guess but no sense in rocking the boat this late in flower..ty for reading friends 💓 7/26/21: She's starting to put on some weight 💪😺.. we went camping for the weekend and her buds were noticeably thicker when we returned 2 days later..I uploaded a short video ❤️🐱💡🌱

Similar conditions as last week, but the plant is getting bigger, so is drinking more, I was finally able to feed the plant 2 times in one week. This week I also introduced a foliar spray. I applied the foliar spray 1h after the lights turned off, next time I need to give it a bit earlier, right after the lights turn off. I also used Mycorrhizae this week as well I feel that the initial problems that I had been solved, the plant is growing at a normal pace now. She is growing great ! Started flowering this week, I did a flush after the pre flower and increased the nutrient intake for flowering now. Got a lil light burn so put the light a bit further away, dim is on 80% now. Tie down and partial defoliation did well in evening the canopy and not letting it grow too high, but more in the sides.
