Week 2 Flower At the beginning of the week they were lollipopped. I left one small branch on a couple of them until their clones had rooted (just incase they failed). As soon as their clones showed roots I cut the emergency clones off the plants. Lollipopping is a great way to slow down their stretch, and is also a great way to bring the humidity down in the tent and get some nice airflow inside and around the plants. If left, they'll grow fluffy pathetic, worthless buds that will only waste energy that would otherwise go into the nice fat top buds and mid canopy buds. The next day pheno's 1, 2 and 3 all showed us their sex, as you can see they are all females! Only a few days later #4 showed us her pistils too! Amazingly we have 4/4 females! It's gonna be a great pheno hunt with all four being left to flower. Remo grow was stopped being fed by the end of the week and silicon was reduced. Remo Bloom and Astro Flower were increased at the end of the week now they're towards the end of their transition. A small amount of nature's candy is being fed for better nutrient uptake, but isn't needed in larger amounts until we see frost, the same goes for molasses. They're all looking very healthy on Remo's Nutrients so far. They were given a leaf strip on Day 13 as they seem to be stretching pretty well and will continue to through week 3. D43 - At the beginning of the second week of flower and the girls are loving life. Overall, I'm happy with the flat canopy, but there's one branch higher than the rest on the first girl. I've never super-cropped an auto, so I figured, why not give it a go and see what happens? It's only one branch after all and we still have weeks of flower to go. I also lightly defoliated the girls further. Nothing extreme, just cleaning up here and there. I've been lazy and haven't brewed any compost tea in a while, so I hand-watered the girls with 1.25-liters of water @ pH 6.3 with 25 ml EM-1 to boost the microbes in the soil. I'll brew some tea in a few days and feed the girls then. D45 - Minor LST. The first girl is bouncing back nicely from her super cropping. D46 - I started brewing a compost tea last night using a pretty basic recipe of worm-castings, rock dust, kelp meal, and molasses. Today each girl got 1.25-liters of tea @ pH 6.5. I set up automation to control the RH in the tent using an Inkbird controller a while ago, where the humidifier and the extraction fan are hooked up to the controller. If the RH goes above the set value, then the fan kicks in to extract the humid air, while if the RH goes below, then the humidifier starts. With a stable temperature, it works like a ghetto VPD controller where the tent is in the ideal VPD range during the 20 hours of light but still in an acceptable range during the dark hours. Controlling the environment is always a headache in a tiny tent, but this system works exceptionally well, considering it is cheap and basic. D49 - We have reached the end of the second week of flower and everything is going great in the tent. The grow is pretty much running itself now that most training is done and the watering system takes care of the irrigation. I'm still dialing in the system though.

Flushing about to harvest in 10 days

Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiodic plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. Slurricane is a lady with low internodal distance. This characteristic greatly influences the application of growing techniques. In this case it is a plant that responds to topping a little slower than the others and it is best to wait for the branches to grow to avoid damaging the little ones. However, we are at 4 florets and between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will cut 8. My plan for photoperiodic plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the tops to split them, we always pay attention not to damage the new growing branches. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and perfectly in shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I am a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping, my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil at the start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what it does to you. Remember that cold temperatures make the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer, so be careful to give the right amount and let the plant dry in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. Nothing to be mentioned, the plants reek like crazy, I cannot keep tent open for too long without stinking up the entire house. Other than that, they are freaking amazing. Will probably start flushing next week, if the trichomes start turning brown. Loving this strain, sooooo strong and tasty and this clone looks even better than the plant.

April 2 LST is really working well. Letting the plant fully sacrifice the yellow leaves before I pull them off. Fed a half gallon of RAW BLOOM yesterday and a full gallon 2 days prior.
