Critical+ 2.0 First scrog

SamDo Hello, starting a new cycle of critical+2.0 Changed nutrient range, I opted for the Platinium Hydroponic brand. The end of this first week isn't great, out of the 5 plants, 4 seem to not have gotten off to a good start, the plants look weak, I don't know if it's due to excess or under-dosing of nutrients,,, or other factors. SamDo Hello, Week 2 of growth. The plants are in good health, despite a significant difference in their development stage. The one in the middle seems clearly more vigorous. Maybe I made a mistake during the very first stages of germination and rooting. I hope this will correct itself later on. I’m not noticing any signs of deficiency at the moment. My EC is at 1, my pH is between 5.5 and 6.2. I water once a day. I think I’ll wait another good week to start doing some topping, depending on the development of each plant. 🌱 That’s it for this week... Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello,,, week 3 of growth. The plants continue to develop normally despite a rough start. I will be able to start topping the bigger ones, and I’ll do the others once they’re the right size. I’ve increased the EC to 1.5. They seem to have reacted well. I’m not seeing any signs of potential deficiencies 🙏 That’s all for this week. Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello, end of week 4 of growth. Still a big difference between the 5 plants. This encourages me to work on cloning for next time, to avoid such a difference 😞 I did a topping on 3 of the plants, the tallest ones. And also a defoliation to let light reach the lower parts that need to grow. This seems to be working pretty well so far. For now, there's nothing more to do, just let them recover and develop. I had pushed my EC up to 1.7, but I feel like that's too strong given their stage, so I went back to 1.5/1.6. We'll see if they respond well. I also changed the lamp. I switched to the slim600h at 50%, which is 300w at 100cm. They seem to appreciate it. That's all for this week... Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello! Week 5 of growth. I’m really happy with the progress this week. The plants reacted very well to last week's light defoliation. They have grown nicely and have become denser. I’ll be able to space the pots a bit to give them room to develop further. I also made and installed a net for the scrog. I’m sticking with an EC of 1.5/1.6; they seem to like it. And I’m doing a flushing today to limit salt buildup in the coco; I do this about every 15 days. That’s it for this week... Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello, week 6 of growth. The plants are doing well. The 2 smaller ones have finally caught up with the others, they are almost all at the same height. They are just under the net. So I can start my scrog! 👍 I also did some defoliation of the lower parts to optimize air circulation. That's all for this week. Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello,,, week 7 of growth. Just a bit of defoliation on the lower parts, I removed the young branches that aren't getting light so the plants can focus on the upper parts. This also helps to lower the ambient humidity again. I'm continuing the SCROG slowly to achieve a nice even canopy. That's it for this week. Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello, end of week 8 of growth. The plants are doing well. I’ve prepared the scrog for the transition to flower. I trimmed the lower parts, removing all the small shoots that aren't exposed to light, leaving only what’s above the net or almost. I’ll continue working on the scrog during the transition to flowering and the stretch. I’ve probably made some mistakes on this first scrog, but that’s how you learn!🧐😅 That’s it for this week... SamDo Hello,,, week 1 of flowering. The plants are doing quite well. They seem vigorous. The stretch has started nicely, they've grown over 10cm this week. The SCROG filling is well distributed even though there are still a few imperfections😅. I've also increased the nutrients a bit, I'm at 1.6/1.7 now,, I will probably intervene on the plants one last time after the stretch is finished, to remove what won't produce nice buds. SamDo Hello,,, end of week 10, week 2 of flowering. The plants are doing very well. They've made a nice stretch since switching to 12/12. Almost 40cm!! A start of buds is beginning to form. The white pistils are slowly appearing. I'm going to wait until the end of the stretch to do another defoliation because the canopy is really very very dense. This will improve light penetration and will also help reduce the humidity, which I'm struggling to get below 55% at the moment. I've also increased my EC to 1.7 to feed them well, which so far seems to suit them. For watering, I'm still at one watering per day. That's it for this week... Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hello, end of week 3 of flower. The plants have almost finished their pre-flowering stretch. The leaf density was huge above the scrog. I did a heavy defoliation to allow air circulation and also to increase light penetration. I think I might have needed to trim a bit more of the tiny shoots to avoid popcorn buds since many grew during pre-flowering. The first buds are starting to form. They should be able to develop a bit better thanks to the defoliation in the coming weeks. I also increased the power of the light. I'm now at 100%, which is 600w for the last 4 weeks to come. SamDo Hello,,, end of week 4 of flowering. For now, everything seems okay. The buds are starting to bulk up. The trichomes are also beginning to appear. The smell is getting stronger too. I will probably wait another week to do a very light defoliation and remove some suckers from the lower parts of the plants. That's it for this week... Happy grow...😎
