🌱 Animal Mints — Week 6 From Seed (≈ Week 2 Flower / Pre-Flower Phase) Quick Recap for New Readers This run includes multiple Animal Mints plants, all treated similarly, but we’re mainly cataloging two reference plants to clearly show how timing affects structure and development: • Plant A → 12/12 from seed • Plant B → ~15 days under 16/8 veg, then flipped to flower Same genetics, same room, same feeding — different timelines. That’s the whole experiment. ⸻ Plant A vs Plant B — Why Two Plants? • Plant A (12/12 from seed) • More compact • Slower early structure • Responds very well to gentle leaf bending and light training • Still stretching and stacking nicely • Plant B (short veg period) • Bigger frame • More developed branching • Further along in flower at the same “seed age” • Took light cleanup / lollipopping better This small veg window made a huge difference in structure and flower progression, and that’s exactly why we’re documenting both. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work (No Heavy Defoliation) This week we did selective leaf removal, not a true defoliation: • Opened airflow and light paths • Removed shaded or blocking leaves • Light lollipopping on Plant B only • Plant A kept mostly intact, just leaf bending and spacing Goal wasn’t stress — it was space, airflow, and efficiency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day Temp: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height & position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around 909 ppm) As outside temps stayed cooler, the room naturally became its own heat source: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant gentle movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning down — all feeds now 6.0+) Why Higher pH Right Now? As plants move into flower, nutrient demand shifts: • Better Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger phosphorus & potassium availability • Root activity increases Slightly higher pH at this stage supports structural growth and flower formation, especially under higher light and CO₂. This ladies got pretty big for real, hands down the biggest autos I've ever had grown in 7l pots, excellent performance, and the flowers start to stink really strong, there is one pheno which is more developed than the other 2 phenos but the 3 have developed really good and they are producing a lot of sticky and stinky trichomes! Let's see how this will end up! Can't wait 🤤

This week was fun, trimming my final product from my last grow was a pleasure, not a pain 🤓. It was very satisfying. Received my seeds early in the week and had to wait a few days to get everything cleaned and ready to go, again, didn’t seem like chores… I think I’m hooked! Started germinating Nov 13/am, tap roots poking out 24 hours later! I’ll wait till they are a bit larger to plant. I’ll be planting directly into 5 gallon fabric pots, no transplanting. **update** Germination- seeds were planted after 48 hours. 2 sprouted, 36 hours later, so Day 1 would technically be Wednesday,November 16th…One went down because of the fiend pictured…He’s been hanging out with me more and more in the grow spot, I’ve also been giving him leaves while I trim, when the plants are vegging… I had the tent open, and he came in a little hard to sniff and pulled one sprout right out, and before I realized what was happening, he swallowed it up with a quick lick of his nose… 🤦 Started two more Wednesday PM, both seeds popped, they were planted Friday PM, no sprouts yet… 😌 sigh…. in the meantime, I received my 5 gallon fabric pots, so we’re now running 3 AK-47 from Crop King Seeds, withe the upgraded pots 😊👍

Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14). This week things really seemed to take off! 🔥 Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1” per day if not more. Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on. The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! 💯 It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either. Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3! Day by day break down: Day 8 Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites Day 9 Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136 Day 10 Plants look great. Let them do their thing. Day 12 Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264 Day 14 sitting at 29” tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue. Thinking they might be around 35-40” tall at the max. Stay tuned for next weeks post to see how much these ladies have thickened up!

Finally got her down. Day 203 21/11/24 Thursday Its finally time 🙌!! She has had 48 hrs of dark and more mildew started to set in so thank goodness I chopped her today!! Have not had time to weigh her yet, but wet trim, and deeper wet trim of sugar leaves affected with mildew have been removed. She is now hanging in tent to dry, with heat mat, and extraction on low. Humidity is 66% and 18'c. Her colours have deepened and her aroma is potent!! Strong sweet floral smell , similar to the perfume 😍 Uploaded pics and a short vid of before the chop. Picture update 📸💚 Last update after cure Updated:::: She smokes 🤤🤤 damn so good!! Taste 😋- like a black cherry gelato , thick and creamy with a tangy cherry on the tongue. Smell 👃- like a pungent ice cream strain now, with what I can only describe as cherry or a dark berry smell. Smoke 🔥-- she is a dream, heavy hitter! I smoke this in evenings and it chills me right out, zoned off. Munchies everything. My new favourite 🙌💚 Thank you to @Divineseeds for this masterpiece 💚

Veg: She got a long 5 months 1 weeks of growing and growing so big. Kept the feeds up and she drunk everything she got given to her, kept drinking and drinking them foods. I gave her the growth technology grow for the first 4 months of veg and the last month I gave her both growth technology grow/bloom, hydro Coco grow for the last month of veg stage. Gave her so much HST in month 3-4, just kept topping wherever I could, bending her over wherever I could. Really trying the stress her out to make her stretch and stretch. Started to see some real growth in her in the last month of veg stage, just seeing her doubling in size every week till we got in to some true flowering. Flowering: so we got about 8 1/2 weeks of flowering which was amazing. At the beginning of week one we saw some little flowers and by the end of that week we had some beautiful flowers starting to appear. I start pumping as much bloom feed in as I could I was still giving her the grow feed, but slowly bring them down by the end of week 2. We got some amazing weather other these weeks of flowering were we saw these bud truly start to go bigger and bigger, maybe the weather was a bit to hot for the plant at some points in the early flowering as we got some leafs burn from intends sunlight in the greenhouse. In week 3 we had a weekend of extreme heatwave over the country hitting highs of 34c witch in the greenhouse was getting up to 45-50c too hot!!! The water system failed on this weekend as well, what really hit her hard. I did think we was going to loose her that day when I went to see her. From that day I think we all realized that we have to keep a good check on the watering if the days were going to be so hot. I took all the small stems off the plant and really open up the bottom so we could get some more airflow over these really hot weeks we had, it was amazing to get this weather in the UK. Week 4 we did really start to see them buds coming everywhere, the middle of the plant was stretching. By the end of week 4 I think she did stop stretching and started to fatten up. I cut the growth feed out in the end of week 2 but I think I should of kept it up with the bloom feed till we got in to week 4. We was loosing a lot of leaves all over the plant when we got to the end of the stretch, so I pumped her some growth feed with all the same feeds she was on at the beginning of week 5. We did see a lot of leaf improvement all over the plant, with new growth on all the main clones. This played a big part in getting them buds fatter and fatter. Getting to the end of week 5 I stop the growth feed and just gave her more bloom and pk boost double. We really did see some buds popping up everywhere which was amazing and we had no real popcorn corn buds cause of opening her up. Week 6 she was drinking and drinking up everything we would give her no problem, got to get so much food in to her. She must of drunk over 30l of feed mixture doubled in this week. Started to look a lot bushy all over. When we hit week 7 them buds were fat and starting to lean around everywhere so had to give a bit more support, I tide the main clone to the four main canes and then tide all the side clones to wherever I could. She still drunk 25l of double mixture over this week and the temperature in the nights was getting so low this week it would of been getting to 8-14c, then greenhouse did still get nice and hot during the day up to 18-26c

Doggo update Couple vids sprinkled in here. Love doing slo-mo with frisbee throws and treats catching in their mouth. Slo Mo vids didn’t upload slo mo so I had to go thru and edit them and screen record it just to get them in slow mo on the site but they’re worth it Dukes ear has been bugging him and so he pins it down sometimes with the other ear straight up and he looks goofy as hell.

La semana fue realmente bien, el metodo scrog le ha ido a la perfección y el HST que tuvo inicialmente igual 💪🔥 La semana que viene sera la última que aplicaremos nutrientes para empezar hacer un lavado de raices progresivo 👍 La producción de resina sigue en aumento y los cogollos siguen engordando y prensandose 💯 El olor es realmente potente al tocarlos un poco y los dedos se quedan totalmente pegados 👏 Una genetica realmente sorprendente y con muchas ganas de probar esta delicia 😋

Que pasa familia, puesto que la compañera y yo estamos bajo mínimos, hemos decidido proceder a un lavado de raíces temprano, y un estrés hídrico para limpiar raíces y estresarla un poco. Todo va sobre ruedas , puesto que el Covid afecta al confinamiento, decidimos cortar las gorillas estos días siguientes para secar y en nada tener algún bote para subsistir 😂🤣. -El estrés hídrico es reducir cada riego la cantidad de agua, para que la planta se estrese y escupa tricomas sus últimos días. Esta variedad de sweet seeds es INCREÍBLE, aun cortándola pronto me parece que los resultados son inmejorables, su olor a melón me encanta y se ve repleta de thc. Nos vemos en la cosecha fumetillas, y mucho ánimo para todos.
