Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Doing amazingly! Actually started flush literally today! So stay tuned to see how chunky these flowers are going to get! They smell delicious! Candy shop in my tent with all these flavours!

6th week of Flowering: The ambient temperature have risen last week and the plant took it well, timing is impeccable perfect for last stretch. Buds are getting bigger, frosted and the smell is developing nicely. A touch of purple is spreading across the heads. I keep the same ratio on the nutrs side and will upload more pictures midweek.

Day 24 - Topped above the 3rd node - Removed the 1st node - Tried out my new diy foggphonic cloner Day 27 - clone looks not brilliant but it still alive, we will see - LST goes on - watering 1,5 L with 2 millionen sf nematoden Day 30 Topped the lower branches

I had a late lockout not by watering too often but too much at once trying to get back to back ppm runoff readings and it was 4 days twice of the roots looking for oxygen. I know I can do better with it because I love the strain I’m going to take it to the hydro setup. Those first 4 weeks are super critical to make the last 8 count. Over all it was fun and Dinafem never lets me down with great genetics and customer service! If you’ve grown or are growing it share your data to help make mine better if you have a minute. Ya van llegando a su fin, las q estan mas cercanas a cosechar me parece serian la critical y bdom, la moby es la q mas le falta y creo q tiene fusarium porq le vi dos tallos bajos con unas manchas marrones asiq la voy a alejar de ellas y veremos q le pasa. La critical una locura la resina q tiene , es enana pero tiene pila de brazos y todos potentes gracias a los clip lst. La black dom es rarisima, nunca tuvo mucho pistilo es como q se engorda sin pistilos medio q salió pura hoja pero veremos, esta re tricomada tambien y tiene un olor muy rico al igual q la critical (todavia no distingo a que) La northern lights la coseche diminuta de 5cm no llegaba al g🤣 siempre cabe la posibilidad con las auto

#1 first week in and she putting on some lovely blossoms....tied down a few of her branches (LST) and she is jus spreading her wings #2 diet seemed to be a off so increase potassium looks like it balanced out..jus watching it to see....also lock off extended hours of light so she can start to get ready to go into flowering

ok guys so its day 42 for the FastBuds CBD strain and she is growing just great! i decided to do a video update since we are starting to begin Flower but she is still stretching. check out the Video for more info!

First week went perfectly. Environment stable, good growth for first week. Co2 going in tomorrow and a humidifier going in as well.

Still swelling but starting to slow down and swagger. It's kolas are becoming so large that it's really starting to weight down the plants small height and stature. Trying to get away with not holding it up but I will see how the further biggest kola starts to lower more how it'll end. I'm starting to lower the feed and get ready for the last 3-4 weeks I'll be giving these plants. Some more foliage will be removed eventually in the coming weeks and also I'll start to change the feed up a little. You can really see the difference in the two phenos. One's a lot like a leafy gelato and the other is OG all the way with great dense kolas. I'm expecting the Gelato type pheno to take 9-10 weeks and the OG one seems to be showing it's age more rapidly with it's pistil development and colour change beginning to start while the other seems untouched and continues to shoot newer whiter pistils!

Everything in the 2x2 is looking good! Started some LST to open the plants up and get light to all the lower spots. Humidty around 60 to 65 percent bottom watered for the first time in the earthbox. Filled it up until it ran out of the overflow with Springwater. Will water again when chamber goes dry to prevent any root issues so far I am loving the earthbox!
