My pictures seem to have re organized themselves, just give me a few here and I'll get the full rundown . So this week ( day 21-23) was MAJOR defoliating. What my first step is to start taking the largest fan leaves . My next step is about halfway through the canopy I'll stop and then I'll start working on the very bottom of the plant now at this stage in the game anything that doesn't even have a nice Bud site so a nice white hair sticking bud at the very bottom like shoots I'll just cut them right off. This is the first steps of a main line but I don't complete the actual full main line I probably will try it sometime soon just not this time. So you take off anything that is a small shoot coming off the main stems and then your next step is . STOP. It might be a minute it might be 10 minutes, 20 min , it might be an hour or more ( my tip is don't wait a full day I try and do it within the first 12 hours of starting it) but I always stop just to look at what I've done sometimes if you get going too quickly you can end up doing way too much. Stand to talk to canopy and look what sites are getting hit by light what places are these families beneficial to use for photosynthesis. Anything that is not doing as much good will be taken off and at that point I'll probably do another you know 5-10 minutes of defoliation maybe take one or two more shoots at the bottom to ensure what's left there is a huge fat cola that's going to give you those huge buds . After this you're going to want to do your best to support those stems that are going to hold a lot more weight as if the plant would have been with all the shoots so you're going to want to just make sure that you have staking in place or some sort of support system to keep them from flopping over a breaking them in the future because that's one thing yeah it's great but then it'll get to a point where oh no stuff falling over and then it's just more hassle than it is helpful. Week 8 as of yesterday, January 8, 2025. Today is day one (1) of Week 9. If anyone has any suggestions as to whether or not I should Harvest the one plant, please help. With Mephisto Genetics' new releases there is no picture of what the plant should look like when finished and believe it or not, I am still new at this.

Doing great and starting to chunk up very nicely. After moving her a bit closer to the light her leaves started to burn a bit yellow/brown, which is weird because it’s still 30-40 cm from the light..

Doing really good. I've introduced some flower stacker, worm tea concentrate, hydro guard root inoculant and some calmag with iron. I also started place a layer of ice on top of the medium to trigger trichome and to get them beautiful colors. I've been doing the ice thing in my last couple of harvest and I swear that it increased the trichome coverage and I get some nice colors to pop. I usually go with organic soil amendment for nutrients. However I used a new to me soil called Biochar. It's like a bunch of small pieces of tree bark. It has simular characteristics like I have to water every day because this product dose not retain moisture at all. I did add a good layer about 1 gallon of Purple Cow Indicanja mixed 50/50 with Happy Frog soil. I loosened the first couple of inches in the container with my fingers and worked it into the soil and watered it in slowly. The addition of the new top layer of soil and nutrients have paid off well. I'm still about 3 weeks out from harvest and I can't wait to see how fat these flowers get. They're already the size of golf balls and I swear I can literally see them growing before my eyes, at least a 1/8 of a inch of girth a day. I have two more feedings to go before it's time to start the flushing process and with the addition of the ice I'm anticipating some lovely colors. Cheers!!!

Feeling like I started her flush too early. So I gave her some food. Not much change but she is fatter and some of her leaves are fading or turning purple. Looks like a 3 monther.

Went a lil crazy on the topping.. they were getting too tall for my tent. Trying to fill out the 4x4 as best i can. Going to let them recover and then start flower.

Doubled in height in a week, fantastic growth and leaves pointing to the sky, she looks very happy and healthy. Pistols are out already so she is maturing fast. Is this normal for autos? Perhaps you can inform me, thank you.

On the final few days of a 10 day flush. Will be chopping down this week to harvest and hang dry. Really excited to try this one. The smells in the room are unreal.

Pre98 Bubba , oh how I’ve missed you for so many years! These ones came out absolutely gorgeous! Loving the the purple phenos 😍 ! These ladies liked to stretch quite a bit so you’re gonna want to use some LST on em but I also recommend topping at least 6 times to get a better bang on your yield ! Expect nice tight purple buds with a tremendous amount of frost covering, some of the frostiest Bubba I’ve ever had! Over all I give it 10 stars an would definitely over an over run this strain!

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

Heute ist tag 10 in veg bei mir. Gestern noch mit mycos mix von glückspilze und bio vega von biocanna gegossen. Hammer mischung!! Über nacht fast doppelt so fetter stängel usw..... bin von dem echt überzeugt. Wenn man es zum richtigen zeitpunkt bei mischt. In der blüte würd ichs lassen. Da sehr viel stickstoff inside ist. Die cuts sind natürlich wie immer bombe. Sauber, stabil, getestet usw.... einfach top! Finden kann man diese wunderschönen stecklinge bei ROOTS_FARMS.

So she grew 26cm this week... Over doubling her height!!!!!!!! I think she's just entered flowering. All in all, she's growing well 😎

I have a very small bit of powdery mildew on the girls. I have been using CuSo4-copper sulphate about every 3 days to keep it at bay. It seems to be working really well. They look great, are happy and are working hard on plumping up their flowers. I have 4-6 weeks until harvest would be my guess. Fingers crossed I can keep the effing PM from taking over. 😬
