🌸 BlueBerry – Week 6 Flower Report Grower’s Journal | Zamnesia BlueBerry ⸻ 🌱 The Girls This Week Both BlueBerry ladies are now true queens, stretching big, stacking huge colas, and getting so heavy that yo-yos are holding them up. Without support, branches would fall under their own weight, which is a good sign of strong flower density but also a reminder of the importance of plant training. The frost continues to thicken, and the trichomes look spectacular up close, sparkling in photos and videos like tiny glass forests. ⸻ ⚠️ Trouble in Paradise – Bud Rot But with big flowers also come risks. This week, Bud Rot (Botrytis cinerea) showed up on BlueBerry #2. • Conditions: High humidity (65%+, sometimes higher) combined with dense flowers created the perfect environment for rot. • Detection: Early spotting saved the plant. It thrives in humid, poorly ventilated conditions, especially inside large dense colas where moisture can hide. How to prevent: • Keep humidity lower during flower (ideally 40–50%). • Maintain constant airflow across and through the canopy. • Defoliate strategically to open airflow inside dense plants. • Avoid watering late in the cycle to reduce night-time moisture. What to do if it appears: • Act quickly. Remove all affected buds immediately. • Sterilize scissors/tools between cuts to avoid spreading spores. • Keep monitoring daily — once it appears, it can spread fast. Bud Rot is every grower’s nightmare, but also one of the most important lessons in environmental balance. ⸻ 💡 Lessons Learned (and Moving Forward) This 8x8 setup is teaching us a lot. For the next run, I’ll be redesigning the airflow system entirely to prevent these issues. For now, the plants are still thriving, and catching the rot early means we can continue with this grow. Big flowers are a blessing, but they require serious air control. Chugging along. Have had some moisture issues in the tent- pooling water on the floor. Added another fan to keep things moving plus reduced the temp at which the exhaust fan blows one degree. That seemed to help. I’m a little worried that the buds seem so small this late in the game. I’ll officially ask a question about this later, but I have been having a lot of condensation inside my tent. That’s because it is in a cold part of my house. And though I do have two fans running and the temp is set low, the condensation is running down my walls and under my floor tray. Not a huge issue except I tried wiping down the walls today and bent a pretty good bud stalk. Not sure if it will keep growing or if it will be an early sacrifice. But, bummer all the same. Also, I figured out that I was a week off. So, just starting week 8.

Here we are in week six of flower and not a lot has happen this week other than the usual watering and letting her do her thing. Only trouble this week was updating GoPro had to try a few times. Other than that we got some rain in my home town and collected about 60 gallons that I'm going to use to finish the rest of the grow. Also, got my new AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet Inline Duct Fan System with Temperature and Humidity Controller, 4-Inch. I was really hoping this two plants would finish before the year ended, however, it looks like they got others plans. See you guys next week.

Hello, the time has come We have harvested the Guava Slushy! it wa a long run she was such an amazing plant, I learned a lot had my ups had my downs! We made it through even tho we struggled with heat in these last weeks of flower causing the plant to be stunned. I am newe to growing and learning along the way! I am so greatful for this grow in the 5x5. I used half the plant to freeze and make bubble hash. She smells like sweet sweet melons oh my! I waited tell the thrichomes were milky!! 12/24/18 Decided to make bubble hash with the trim and small buds from all 4 plants. The bubble hash is now drying. This plant has been a dream to grow. No problems from her at all. I even found a couple keeper phenos as well. The black magic soil and fertilizer, along with the aerated nutrient teas that these ladies were feed worked to perfection. All organic living soil is the way to go! Im not finished yet. I will update this diary soon with dry weight and a smoke report once the ladies are done drying.00000

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this Blue cheese Auto from Royal queen seeds will turn out. KL 08.00. The girls woke up after their beauty sleep, the leaves are always a bit down after 6 h of darkness, but they will stretch now when the HPS lamp starts. Everything looks good and I keep trying to tuck the leaves so they get the maximum amount of light where needed. Added pics and video. The Nr 3 girl is still a little bit behind the other 2 girls and all the 3 girls look like there 3 different pheno of the same plant. KL 23.30. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test. Kl 10.00 Tested PH in the soil, it was 6.9 and tested my tap water and it was 6.8. Added a video of the girls, its 10 H after defoliation, LST and leaftucking. I think its looking good. Kl 22.30. I love this lady. She's too big to move and get any decent shots but trust me she is a queen Huge regal structure as a kush should be. Flowers are just a mass of sugar and pistil. smells are sweet and citrus in the room atm.. love it. feeds are at 1.8ec no more big fruota left but i hope to get some more asap and re introduce it. makea for some great dense buds. uvb is running twice a day for an hour pwr seaaion. x bars are running at 50% giving an avwrage ppfd of 1005umols. happy days.. thanks for passing by. grow well

Day 26 – On the Verge of Flowering We’re now on Day 26 of the grow, and the Sweet Skunk Automatic is entering a critical stage. After nearly four full weeks of vegetative growth, the plant continues to appear healthy and structurally compact. Leaf growth remains vigorous, and the internodal spacing is still tight—a good indicator of strong light exposure and stable environmental conditions. This week marks the likely transition period into the early flowering stage, which typically begins around week 4 to 5 for this autoflowering strain. While no pistils are visible yet, we expect the first signs of pre-flowering to appear within the next few days. Weather Recap & Outlook The past week brought mixed conditions—cool nights and scattered showers slowed growth slightly but didn’t cause any stress symptoms. Now, a more favorable pattern is setting in: • Daytime highs are climbing steadily toward 24–26°C • Nighttime lows remain above 10°C, reducing root zone stress • Plenty of sunshine is forecasted for the coming days, especially mid to late week These improved conditions should provide the perfect push for the plant to fully enter bloom. We’ll be watching closely for the first white hairs and signs of stretching. The stage is set. If everything stays on track, we’ll enter the flowering chapter of this grow very soon

Well it's dry and cureing in jars. I ended up with 78 grams of dry sticky buds. Growing this cultivar was a breeze! I mailined her for 8 main kola's and I would say that it was a success. I did however end up with more larf than I would have liked, but I'll be using that for fresh flower rosin in my Rosineer press. This particular pheno did not like her nutrients above a mild strength at all !!! I did flush her 3 times during her life and with good results. The first was to clean and build up of veg nutrients , primarily nitrogen. And the other two times were during flower. I wanted a good transition into flower. I've had a bad habit of thinking that a super dark green plant is what I want in flower. All in all she was a delight to grow. Not to finicky and a forgiving strain imo.

She is starting to come together finally. Ive never seen a plant like this one. But, I love an underdog. She is getting some nice trichome production already, which is always good. Taking a full dose of nutes and loving it. So far so good. I am loving 420 Fast buds!!!

I didn't take photos nor videos this week so I uploaded a vid from the new round, I have 2 cutting just growing healthy and some new seeds. You can check them on my new diary. The girls in cuestion are really good and finishing their lives, check the next week for mor photos

the left "nemo" is much further along than "v" on the right. began tapering back on both nutrients, after this last compost tea feed nemo is getting flushed, just RO water and finish by heavy 16. V needs another week to develop then 2 weeks to flush and finish. will probably chop nemp im 2 weeks between day 67-70 of flower, based on trichome color. after initial harvest on nemos tops im going to re-weave "v" tops thru scrog fpr better airflow, light use and allow them to fill and finish with the lower buds of nemo at probably day 77 or so, its slower rolling, much more haze pheno, both leaf shape, bud structure and smell. Nemo is much more blueberry, finishing sooner, smells like blueberry candy and has wider fan leafs.
