Always cool to see what old school strains are all about. If there’s something experience has taught me is that classics are classics for a reason, and that’s the theme of this cycle. The germination was exceptionally fast, followed by the development of a thick stalk and huge broad leafs, this Gorilla surely started strong. Humidity and temperature kept fairly high throughout the week (70%/ 24°C), with regular misting, which they love! So far so good, feels like a happy and healthy seedling. Let’s see what she’s got 💪🌱

Week 3 Flower – Sundae Driver From Seed to Now This journey started just five weeks ago from seed. We ran a very short veg, only about two weeks, before flipping to flower. Even with the short veg, these Sundae Driver phenos have been relentless growers: strong branching early on, healthy node spacing, and an impressive stretch once the light cycle changed. In Week 1 of flower, we switched to 11 hours on / 13 hours off to encourage a faster transition, and by Week 2, the girls had already shot past the 111 cm mark. Now, in Week 3, they’re tall, thriving, and showing no signs of slowing down. The girls are reaching for the sky, tall, elegant, and stretching with no signs of slowing down. Each day they surprise me with just how much vertical growth they’re putting on. I’m curious (and a little nervous!) to see how big they’ll eventually get. Nutrients & Additives This week, we introduced a new layer to the feed program by combining Plagron additives with our existing Aptus lineup. I've been pulling the top fan leaves to stop the main stem growing any taller and repotted them into 4L pots, once they show roots I'll flip them over to flower. They've all outgrown their mutations but the apple fritter has a slight varigation.

I probably won't grow this strain again, just due to the growing difficulties, short lifespan, and low yield, although the bud is definitely quality. I learned a lot as this was my first grow, and the next I'm hoping for better yield quantities.

Hi everyone 🤗 This week the two Kosher Tangie Kush were harvested by Amsterdam Genetics 😍. extremely good phenotypes. The blue cheese pheno 2 and 3 were placed in the darkroom according to the video. Day 22: Drain EC 3 feet high and risin'😅( average 3.3 to be exact...) dunno how much whatever-salt is building up in that pots, but it obviuosly doesn't bother the ladies. Dark green colour, very few 'claws', no signs of tipp-burn, new foliage appears in a juicy green and turns dark in an instant, leafs point upwards....... looks like they're happy😊. Planns for this week: - Install the scrog-net - Obsereve plants/soil ( when do i have to feed nutrients again?) otherwise there will be no changes...... Thoughts: These bushy babies will be kind of a challlenge to create this scrog the way i'm used to (basically bending the 4 main main colas to the corners of the tent, upper branches to the walls and spaces between the pants, lower branches to the very center). Now these ladies make so many branches, so close togehter and so equal in length, underneath huge fanleafs..... i'd love to have them in a 100 square meter canna-crib....but in a tent...????? I really hate doin' things without having them planned - but in this case i guess i will have to install the net, start weaving and see what's happening😯 Day 23 Let's keep it positive...... indoor-climate of 64% rh is perfect for my health💪😁!!! ......but in my tent it's killing the vpd😖. at a lousy 24 degrees C, i'm readin' about 60-64 % rh wich results in about 0.7 to 0.8 kPa.* More figures? Here come the crazyones👻!: pH 5.5; EC 4.2😨 but thats only drain from plant 3....... average was 6.1/3.6 The girls busy produce roots, shoots and leafs....... still very green, still not unhealthy.......few claws, no tipp-burn. Basically a comfortable place to be: It's not bad yet - no work but watering - and it can only get better!!!😁 *VPD issue solved: The sensor hung too close to a fanleaf - didn‘t expect this thing beeing so sensitive 😅. Day 24 Climbed new hights this morning: Plant 1 had an EC of 3.8 - the others didn't climb any higher than yesterday. So maybe we've reached the climax..... 😇 Visible growth now - so i installed the scrog-net and will start bending and weaving these days:-) Thoughts: Did beeing out of VPD-range for one day harm my plants? How exact can my sensor measure VPD? after a bit of research i found out: Whatever you buy for less than 200 bucks is far from beeing exact! Even professional sensors have a margin of about +/- 1% in relative humidity. Thermometers at least +/- 0.5 degrees C. This could give some a good guess of the actual VPD BUT: Leaf-temperature-offset is absolute key! Many of our trusted homegrow-equippment isn't even able to measure it (some offer default temp-offset) ....don't wanna go further here - but there's no way to achieve something like a precise VPD-measurement in homegrowing. So why caring for VPD? Even with those less accurate instruments, you may be able to keep your plants in something like a comfort-zone. Way better than only guessing 👆!!! In case i ran a much higher VPD than planned, yesterday (due to a missplaced sensor) , it will not harm or kill my plants. they might have had a bit of stress from dry air - but nothing to worry about! Day 24: Decreasing salt-levels in the drain - excepting plant 4, wich had an EC of 4.0 - so i guess i'm slowly draining exess-salts from top to bottom and might have collected some build-up. The girls seem to be quite okay. Root-growth is vigorous (there are thick, white roots penetrating through the pots, everywhere), the stems are relatively thin. removed the LST-lines. the Sc.r.o.g: only materiels needed, were a climbing-net for gardening (HDPE) cut to 90x90 for my 1x1 tent, 4 cable-ties and 2 meters of strong rubber-cord. Pre-installed the net with the cable-ties, then weaved the cord around the outter cords of the net, led it aroud the posts and pulled tight. Then brought the net into it's final position. Not as sturdy as with a wooden frame - but i had less than half the work and a bit of freedom to move things if necessary. Any shoot will now be put to the next outter square (relative to the center of each plant) as soon as can be held by the net, without harming the top. Once i moved all of the dominant colas to the next square, i'll have to take 10-15cm steps (vertical growth), to reach the next square. As soon as i have about 70 of my 81 squares filled, i'm going to flip to 12/12. Since i'm plannin' to have them full of sugar when flippin', i don't expect too much of a stretch. This way i hopefully have the longest and strongest shoots framing the shorter ones in the center - so the canopy shapes like a bowl, in order to achieve the most even light distribution possible. Day 25: The main colas visibly reached out for the light - but yet i only moved 1 single shoot to the next square. Girls look good, EC is dropping slowly, climate fine. Big textwall incoming homies: Here Im doin some shit i knew from owning low to middle branded smd grow panels* how is that usually they come with both uv , ir, far red even newer quantum boards supplements itself with diverse chips extending their photosynthetic spectrum or making specific accesory bars / modules yet my purporse is rather focus on UV as this 15w bar (advertised as nominal 9 x 3w powered led) with UV-A 390-400nm spectrum – something that trigger some reaction to the plants with some other color son the flowering phase and trying to establish functional a ratio , as a bit of blue green and yellow have specific purposes instead of providing absurd quantities of red light , as there is some lateral cold bulbs in smaller but necessary ratios (as blue spectrum is still required on flowering , yet the original purpose was to complement mid to low branch development) in this shitty set up bonding with the upper bulbs and their colour temperature schema, every light has it's own schedule as how i suppose is a morning to night as something that cause plant resistance response (kinda noticed something i need to stimulate as i see a bit of fox-tailing but now with the uv-a i propose to build resistance and activate defense mechanisms like resin and of course, plant morphology according to its stage making bulkier , tankier , according to outdoor’s atmosphere i want to replicate as optimal weather as well – i hope this hardship make them more resilient and increase their health points as here i’s a HOT GIRL SUMMER- even indoors it rises my base temperature makes smell notorious, but as is not the usual weed smell make it and advantage in terms of discretion Killer Kush presents slight sweet tones not very prominent, the only herbal smell can be associated to pine undermining the refined coffee-like smell that is the dominant note (this selection of kush lack of lemon notes up to this point i can say it’s earthy with a bit of sour & sweetness) . Alas, as their late flowering phase and feeding schema should make chunky girls ,but the hot girl summer can become really a issue here, days and heat is something to be deal and prevent more light and food that they can chew , and this timing make me not over-do this niggas with excess of light, heat, disbalanced spectrum or extractions. So automatizing it with some timers ( a very good hint to repurpose old shit in your house!) im doing a Schedule that turn off some lights through the course of the day switching the intensity and the spectrum itself , making a sweet morning to afternoon look alike , , making that timer looks really like a basement like a nice dream to my plants, not exposing them to very disfavourable conditions and yet controlling my electric bill peaking , by the same reason , ventilation is also measured as im relying just on ventilators to distribute and disperse heat and also doing the role of intraction / extractors, there are 9 usb fans in various levels of this weed maze <3 . It's noticeable the quick evolution of these plants as there is no other factors to be aware except heat management as plants seem with not negative traces except some burnt leaf from previous weeks so i expect that they should be ready at the end of the month by my a personal mania of ripping shit all at once in order all to have that space at disposition for new projets , i will report stability eventually as they seemed quite rare enough when before putting to flower all, there was one already flowering AND THAT WAS FUCK THIS SHIT AND BECAUSE ITS NO CHEAP BULK TO EXPECT THIS SHIT!** ), and that shit become tears in the rain as that put me in some shit i can’t control or overcome, and just deal with in this strange lst bondage metal succubus nightmare that will be a nightmare to unmount too. Yet, i want the best conditions for her as all plants except her are ok so now the lateral bulbs also switched to give her more light (there is one on the left, right and on the back side, but i think better results with a neutral colour and using t5 led tubes with a water resistant case in each corner of the tent if i try to re do lateral lights ! ) *I still own the panels, in a next future, but not in this run i can use them as i think how i can supplement them and make them a team player as beyonding spectrum shaman shit i know now , and thankful to the chinese kids that made these fucking cheap as hell blessed bulbs,as they made me allow quickly adapt the spectrum on the main setup is 3000-4000k at the same ratio, with the addition of a cold light of 6500k on the idea of middle branching development too , and a small pint of unholy uv doing early 2000s cyberpunk shit with old trash janitor with compulsive hoarding stuff with some big gas leaks attitude niggas . **I do second runs of plants in order reach a better result through practice - but is noticeable the lack of stability on these bastards as i was very happy with previous strains i can say this strain is a big no! , unlike their famous ones, like black Jack or sweet cheese , the former ones fast version are way more stable and they didn’t presented me autoflowering phenos in the batch … i don’t hate autos, but i hate to mix them with feminized on the same run, its like having a hermaphrodite indoors for me. 😫😫😫

This plant is really vigorous and putting on a bunch of mass to the buds. Just smells sweet and fruity rn but the leaves are turning a bit purple as she gets toward the end. Gonna feed for a bit more then start to flush as I think it's BPP but who knows lol sometimes mix pack is nice it makes you read the plant more not just go off what others did. Overall think she will be a beast 💪 Happy growing 🌴

Had some family time last week and unfortunately caught covid with all the symptoms. I've been bed bound since Monday and today I'm starting to feel slighty better. Not asking for sympathy 🤣 but this explains why some of my girls have switched on me... Looks like all 3 Frosted Biscotti have gone into reveg. Obviously have a light leak but think I've sorted it now. The mystery is just well under feed as I've run out of Bloom and big Buds and its also gone into reveg. The other coco ones haven't gone into reveg and almost look done. Biscotti Mintz and Bahama Bussdown look 🔥 well impressed. The mutant Biscotti Mintz (soil) has come along nicely and looks amazing. I don't get why that hasn't revegged as its surrounded buy the others that have. The 2 at the back, (Bahama Bussdown) ones taken a slight knock and revegged and the other one has just got to heavy and collapsed. Again looks near enough done so now need to think of a plan of action for curing as tent will be occupied for at least another month. So I think that's it with the problems 🤣 .. This is been a pleasure to watch flower and grow. In the earlier seedling stage she was a bit delicate and there was a little cupping to the leaves but that ironed out later on. She started showing flowers or a pre-sex real early but then just started filling out Calyx on top of calyx. Flower flower flower. This was a strain that I wanted to grow as long as possible we’re gonna be going into week 13 so I decided to cut her down branch by branch. I’m going to be doing a cold drying process that I’ve been experimenting with. It’s where I will place it in a cool and preferably low humidity area. I have a cooler that has a small heater air conditioner installed into it. I will keep the flowers that are drying half the time in the cooler and half of the time at room temperature so that way we retain maximum Terps.

The only thing I did was defoliation and fed her the power bloom, all purpose, and worm castings. Top dressed nutrients and fertilizer. I made the Recharge Tea once a week and added molasses in between the tea.

Outdoors will be moved inside to finish, they just don't mature outside anymore, too cold, lost biggest cola to bud rot already....
